Two of our trackers stopped tracking for over a year and we were not notified and the company continued to charge us. We think the problem is that the app stopped notifying us or anyone else. Their position is that they don't track the trackers and their initial solution was to refund us a fraction of what was collected. It took multiple emails to get them to understand that auto-charging our credit card without providing any service is theft. Eventually they did refund the full amount and offered additional complimentary services. Before we continue with Hapn, there will need to be procedures in place to prevent this in the future. Pros When we started with this company it was called spytec and the trackers worked pretty good as to the app. Cons The fact that when the trackers stop tracking the app did not notify. I really did not like to have been charged, apparently due to system error that I was not told about until I brought it up and contested. seems shady. Make sure you check your subscription and credit card statements, but how many of us do that, really? Pros Easy to set up and use. battery also lasts fairly a long time. tracking is accurate and timely. Subscription is affordable but can be high depending on what you are using it for. Cons Big red flag was I was charged while I have the subscription on pause and I was not aware. Do check your credit card statements. I did get a refund after talking to a live agent that was lovely. They claimed that there was a system error that customers got charged when they were not supposed to but no email communication or heads up. Hard to say that I would have been refunded if I did not initiate and reach out myself. I did get a refund ($3 less than what I paid, don't know why :( ). Pros The overall functionality of the resource and the operations in conjunction with functionality is fantastic. Ease of use is key for agents on the ground, and provides strategic insights for administration. Cons The feature of accessibility with integration to email notifications is not functioning correctly, which is hobbling our administrative and strategic end of things. Pros We use it to find anglers out on the water during active televised competition, so real time tracking is very important. Cons The only negative is that if you are in an area with no cell service on your mobile device , you don’t know if people are moving, or have moved. Pros The "time machine" is a good feature, it allows me to see where an asset has been on a daily basis. Cons The connectivity is rough, it often loses connection and then sits (usually at an airport) in the same place for days. Sometimes the signal is lost within our building, I usually have to leave it outside before I'm able to use it.
