I especially share and use the Consumption and Variance reports. Both reports show all the key details: opening stock, purchases/stock in, and consumption, along with the system closing stock. Then, when we enter the physical stock, it shows the item variance report. We can also check our food cost reports (ideal and actual) on a daily basis. Pros Restroworks application is very good for outlet food-cost saving. I use the inventory module on a daily basis to add semi-finished items and manage item yield portion-wise. When I enter data, I can adjust the items and then update how many items were actually consumed for each portion. It is very helpful for our cost-saving process. I also check the closing stock daily as per sales, and then check the next day or week order requirements. Cons Nothing, as of now, has caused any operational issues. Pros Setting up rules is a really useful feature. It helps reduce input errors and allows you to set up hierarchies for better control. The Theo Consumption report helps identify variances caused by recipe errors, and not all inventory management systems have this report readily available. The user interface is quite simple. The system also provides excellent in-platform report viewing, so there’s no need to download an Excel file. Excellent Customer Support. Cons Reports could be better. Backdating should be allowed up to the last stock count date. It should also be possible to create backdated stock counts in cases where a stock count wasn’t created on the closing night, even though the count was actually done.
