Based on this we can get more details. Pros Able to manage the stocks for the items which we use for production, services, housekeeping etc. Entries are made easy to enter on the required screens. Same as reports are able to generate easy for our reporting purpose for our outlet. Support team also good and able to resolve the issues and queries as and when required. Cons Some time delay in loading the screens or in updating, this can be checked and can be rectified. Edit and backdate entry are restricted upto 5 days only, this can be increased. Pros We use the inventory module on a daily basis, and it is very helpful for indent forecasting when placing orders to the warehouse, as well as for vendor-wise forecast orders to vendors. It also helps a lot with avoiding non-availability by setting up email notifications through the reorder level. It is very helpful for daily operations, and it makes it easier to check daily food cost and track wastage on a regular basis. We also use the approval matrix, which is very helpful for getting approvals through email. Setting up rules/policy - Helps to restrict user access levels with approvals based on defined hierarchies. Overall The Inventory Management system does help to identify and fix cost leakages. Pros Setting up rules is a really useful feature. It helps reduce input errors and allows you to set up hierarchies for better control. The Theo Consumption report helps identify variances caused by recipe errors, and not all inventory management systems have this report readily available. The user interface is quite simple. The system also provides excellent in-platform report viewing, so there’s no need to download an Excel file. Excellent Customer Support. Cons Reports could be better. Backdating should be allowed up to the last stock count date. It should also be possible to create backdated stock counts in cases where a stock count wasn’t created on the closing night, even though the count was actually done.
