I navigate with ease, so am happy with it. Cons When I upload a file, normally a pdf, and the orientation of the pdf is different from page to page, then I am unable to rotate the image so that the student can easily read the page. As an administrator, I have gotten quality feedback from the instructors using Lessonspace. Pros It is a more educationally sound way to have online learning for remote students and teachers and educators. It is more versatile to use than compared to other video conferencing platforms. Pros There are many useful features on Lessonspace that aid in teaching students. It is easy to use and is well designed. I also love the troubleshooting prompts when I am having issues connecting to a student Cons Wish I had a wider range of pen thicknesses, maybe more like a spectrum instead of a few options (See Notability Pen options). I also sometimes have issues where an image I upload is way too large for the space and then I have to size down. I tried to do an online session with another platform and the response time was very slow. With Lessonspace there was no slow lag time. Pros Easy of use. It was very easy to get started. From the students perspective he could easily mark on the whiteboard. He was also able to easily send a screen shot of his work. Cons I had difficulty one day with uploading a pdf. Most of my PDFs uploaded easily but there were two that when they uploaded I could not see them but me students could. I am only just starting out my tutoring career, but lessonspace has provided the tools and the convenience that compliments my way of teaching really well. Students I’ve tutored with on lessonspace seem to understand concepts I’ve taught really well. Pros The sheer number of tools that are available to use. It’s made teaching seem so effortless, almost like you’re teaching in a classroom (or even better given how there are resources available on lesson space that wouldn’t be available in a classroom like drawing lines). I also appreciate the fact that students can also interact with the platform - this is great as other online teaching tools felt pretty one-sided and you just had to hope that the student understood what I was teaching. I love the color choices and fun emojis. They can make a lesson easy. The ease in which I can upload material is also very nice. Cons I wish when I added a new whiteboard space it happened on the left and the older stuff was hidden. This would make keeping older material for reference easier as when I opened a space it would be at the most recent and the older would be further down on the list. My students have been happy because of the tools and the fact that we can interact in real time. The recording are a bonus that comes handy during revision time. The platform is easy to use and has a lot to offer. Pros The whiteboard is the best for someone who is teaching maths. The platform also plots graphs, the library has a calculator and one can search for pictures and documents while the lesson is live. Cons Nothing really. If I have any issues, which I rarely do. The Lessonspace team are easy to contact, help is always at hand and any issue is sorted quickly. Pros Me as tutor: Lessonspace is easy to use and navigate. The amazing tools available help me to create enjoyable and engaging lessons for my students. My students: Find logging in easy and enjoy using the tools to create amazing work and complete their tasks. I especially like the rewards i.e. stars, fireworks, etc. and my students love them, even though they are secondary age up to young adults. Cons There isn't anything that I don't like about Lessonspace. However, myself and my students would love to see the return of the balloons! The option of adding a coding board as well could be useful for people learning coding or taking computer science classes.
