Pros Best feature is recording of all sessions- good for safety of clients and for observation/feedback of staff. Client has access to the whiteboard at all times to see what past content was covered. Cons Glitches when the space is too full- makes watching video difficult to do. Director Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Satisfied customers" October 26, 2021 4.0 Lessonspace has enabled us to offer our usual in-centre tutoring service online to our community during the pandemic, and we have also been able to establish an ongoing online service. The communications with Lessonspace have been excellent - they have even implemented one of our ideas, which we are thrilled to be able to use. Very pleased with this service. Pros Lessonspace enables tutor and student to both write at once on a virtual whiteboard, or scanned copies of students' completed work, or new work pages. Being able to share the teacher or student's screen allows our teachers to help students with their online homework, and share our proprietary learning software from our computers. Features like 'stickers' and virtual confetti allow us to add a little fun, especially for our younger learners - these simple things cause great excitement! Cons Nothing major to report - the price is reasonable, the space is usable, our students can manage it (even the younger ones). Good value for the money and contains lots of helpful features that make it more interactive than something like Zoom Cons The most challenging part of the platform has been that it seems slow to release new features and can be buggy. It also doesn't work very well on mobile which can prove to be an accessibility issue for students. Pros It is well structured. I find that in comparaison to other platforms it overall works better. The image quality and sound are good. It rarely lags, if so it's most often a question of internet. It is all the tools you need to properly teach in my opinion. It is also simple of use. Cons I find it pricey compare to the other options. I find it slow to download documents and for some reasons sometimes I have to go open the file outside the platform for it to be able to download, that can be a little annoying. Review Source Mimi T. It was designed and pioneered for educational use vs. being reverse engineered to fit eduction. Cons Not much. Lessonspace is always seeking to improve. The integrations between products and platforms could be tighter. Also, more support is needed. Given the massive time difference, you often have to wait until the next day to receive support. I really would like to see breakout room added as can't as possible so that we can teach without all students hearing the same content Pros I still don't use the kessonnsoaxe admin much. Locking spaces for use was a nightmare sonomrases to see you have introduced a much required waiting room. Cons Break out rooms have been promised for a long time where students can't see each other. Is this coming? I done like not having this option to teach kids individually but in a group. There is no reminder bell for 5 mins to go.
