Pros

I love this platform's ability to monitor sales activity, set sales goals, and interact with others on your team.

Cons

The learning curve is steep. It's a complex system that takes some time to get use to. The onboarding process is crucial.

Pros

HubSpot can be customized to your business in many ways. Most features can be accessed with the Sales Starter package as well. You can mix in free users with paid users, which is nice if your boss wants basic access to view things like sales reports and only your sales reps need the more robust access. The integrations with email and your business website are also really valuable.

Cons

It took me a long time to get a response from the sales rep. Also the customer support rep only blocked 30 minutes to help get me onboarded and had to cut me off when I still had questions. When you actually have their attention though they are very nice and helpful.

Pros

Logging emails was quite easy, and the chrome extension made it easy to see my notes directly from gmail.

Cons

The chrome extension interfered with the functionality of one of the other extensions I regularly use, and the email templates I found to be rather cumbersome to use and would much rather just enable canned responses in gmail instead.

Pros

with their main CRM being free this is a great system for someone that doesn't have a big need. It also has great opportunity for a business that does have a large need for more then a basic CRM

Cons

The "extras" that this software offers can be quite expensive for a small needs. The free portion provides a great CRM but if your need us small comparatively for the ancillary programs and automation, you may find other resources to use until it makes sense to go "full blown" in this program.

Cons

The close date field is required and cannot be hidden. It tracks different data than it implies, so it can be confusing.

This software is defintely good enough for a sales team, but if you start expanding use cases it can get messy really quickly.

Pros

It's easy to track (potential) customer relationships without too much additional manual tracking and/or effort

Cons

We use some of the modules for things that we probably should, just due to convenience and it does create confusion.

Pros

HubSpot, most conveniently, is a nexus for so many needs and functions that your website depends on. It covers sales figures, visits, article creation, leads, social media posts, and more. You cannot only monitor the production of these things, but their overall effectiveness. This crucially democratizes the results brought by the collective efforts of a team, results which would typically reach those employees at the discretion of the bosses with access to that information. In short, HubSpot is convenient and aids every employee in feeling invested in day to day results.

Cons

As we know, software programs are ever-changing and never perfect. There are minor inconveniences, such as a lack of drag-and-drop options for photos. HubSpot is not perfectly compatible with smartphones yet, in the Safari browser on the iPhone, I am unable to alter social media phrasing and links. These problems aren't terribly significant, and I am sure they will be fixed with time, but they nonetheless leave more to be desired. And of course, there are occasional glitches, such as double postings on social media, or a posting that goes live on the site but takes an hour or so to register on the Published page on HubSpot.

\- Multiple pricing tiers, including free - Great for experienced and new salespeople, as well as marketers - Easy to set up meetings and chatbots - Great customer support - Several currency options - Great record-tracking for contacts - Email integration

Cons

\- Can be costly on higher plans - No chatbot and other cool features on free plan - No central place for meetings/messages (yet) - Can be overwhelming at first, but easy once you get use to it

Pros

These guys have thought through 'inbound' more than anyone else and have made their philosophy really easy to execute on

Cons

It won't fit everyone and can be a bit cumbersome at times. In order to live this approach you really need to double down on your content creation.

It is hard to navigate and not a very intuitive setup. It does alright as a basic CRM but there are better options out there

Pros

It has a great integration with Intercom which is the program that we use to do our customer support and answer customers questions. It allows us to store all of our customer's information and track our sales process.

Cons

The information is not organized very well. It is hard to find the info that I need and navigation is not very intuitive. The help articles have not been very helpful and the whole properties setup is supposed to make things super customizable but does not work as advertised.

Hubspot Sales, formerly known as Sidekick, has been my sidekick since I started in the business roughly 2 years ago. I always tell my clients they NEED too have this in order to succeed in life. If they don't, they will fail, and not in the good way.

Pros

Tells you when people open your email or attachments. Extremely beneficial.

Nothing.

Cons

The fact that LinkedIn integration with more 'basic' premium plans isn't an option is a bit of a frustration, but it hasn't been too detrimental.

Pros

The vendor is really as wonderful to work with as the software - which is, of course, amazing! This has revolutionized how we do marketing. Instead of hopping around to a dozen different tools, everything is in one spot. Setting up whole conversion funnels and email drip campaigns is a snap and can be done in a fraction of the time. Plus, all your data is in one place, so you can run meaningful reports. Want to run an A/B test to improve results? You're only a click away!

Cons

It is expensive, but it's much less than some of the competitors I researched. Being a cloud-based software product, they roll out updates without giving users a heads up or a chance to try them out. 99.9% of the time, this is fine, but we have had an issue where a landing page update was rolled out without our knowledge. Our conversion tanked, and it took days to figure out what was going on (all the submit buttons disappeared). Upon figuring it out, I called support, and it was fixed within 5 minutes. Things like this have only happened twice in two years of being a customer. The benefits of using the software far outweigh any inconvenience I have experienced.

It's possible that I may have selected the incorrect product for my needs. Now there is too much time invested in the data to change to a new software.

Pros

The reminder notifications and notes from each contact point. Multiple product pipelines are an attractive option.

Cons

How prospects move through the pipelines. The process is not intuitive and is rather clunky. Also, that screen is inordinately large. A smaller screen might make it more practical.
