Their Meeting Notetaker is pretty good as well. Pros O loved the task manager the best - if you don't complete the task it will keep moving it forward on your calendar until you do. Period. The cost ended up being higher then I want to pay right now, however it is incredibly easy to use. Cons Cost is too high to bring on for my small business right now. If I could have only the features I want at a reduced cost, it'd be great for my team. Pros I like how I can have multiple workspaces and projects set up all in one clear organized space. I like being able to see multiple different views and the filtering feature helps a lot. I love that it is well organized, and it is pleasing to look at. I love the colors and how they add to the overall organization. Cons The AI feature does not work how I thought it would when I originally saw the advertisement for Motion and is a little more difficult to work with than I would like it to be. It might just be my brain or how I like to manage tasks and time, but every day felt overscheduled somehow. Don't get me wrong, it's very cool and would likely be great for most people, it just somehow didn't quite gel with me. I guess it's a lot like buying a planner (some work, some don't). If it works for you though, I could already see that it's smart, elegant and a real time saver (just not for my brain LOL). Pros It handles a lot of task management easily and effectively. Pros As someone who is Autistic and ADHD, having the ability to have all of my tasks in a single pane and having them automatically scheduled in my calendar based on priority and deadline has been fantastic. Cons We'd really like to be able to share Motion projects externally, even just read only, or at least have an export to PDF option. We are unable to share task lists with customers but we are currently investigating an option for this using the API. This app makes it very easy to do so, and it has essentially kept me from having so many lists of things to do. The app keeps track of what needs to be done and schedules it accordingly. I wish I had found this years ago. In my job I am someone who often gets pulled away from the task at hand. This app makes it easy to regroup and prioritize what needs to be done and what can be put off until tomorrow. It also makes you take notice when you keep pushing off that annoying task that you dread or that is really hard and motivates you to just do it and get it done. It also prevents you from dilly dallying when you know you only have so much time set aside to get something done. Lastly, when it seems the the to-do list is just never ending, it makes things feel more manageable by helping you lay out what you will do one single day, making things seem more achievable. Cons Not too many negatives. Sometimes it is a little slow to readjust the schedule when you make changes, but it usually gets it done within about 10 - 25 seconds. Review Source LT Lindsay T. Cons The issues I have with Motion are minimal - I am looking for a few features to be added, like easier color coding on the calendar events, the ability to change the busy/free part of events that I'm invited to by others, being able to easily check off tasks on the project tab, a quick undo if I mark a task as completed by accident, and a better system / notifications when a recurring task can't be scheduled. As someone with ADHD, this app is perfect! It takes away the decision fatigue from trying to schedule my day and reduces the time it takes for me to just get started with my day. Pros Motion taking my tasks based on time and priority and scheduling things makes it so easy for me to just follow the schedule. I also love that it breaks longer tasks into chunks, which is perfect for someone who can't keep working on the same thing all the time. Cons There's nothing that I can say I don't like about Motion.
