There are plenty of cards to choose from with different themes for every occasion. Pros We used to send an employee to the store to buy birthday cards for our employees, but as our firm has grown we find it so much easier to prepare a card through Ellacard. Everyone can create their own fun message and keep it as brief as they like or more fun with GIFs etc. Cons On occasion, the card has locked up and it has been difficult to navigate, but in the end we have figured it out. We landed on Ellacard and it has been easy to set up and send cards to individuals. Pros The ease of distribution to the team for seamless electronic signing of cards. We love the option of group sign or not. Cons I have not found anything to dislike, yet. I am sure with more use, we may come across quirks with the tool, but none so far. It's a staple for birthdays and any big life events our team goes through. I personally looked forward to it every year on my birthday. Pros Ellacard has become one of those quiet little tools our team genuinely looks forward to using. Sending a card around is effortless — anyone on the team can drop in a note, a GIF, or a photo in seconds, and you don't have to chase people down or wrangle a shared doc. The card designs are actually nice (a low bar, but a lot of platforms miss it), so the final product feels thoughtful instead of corporate. Most importantly, it makes birthdays feel like a real moment. People light up when they open theirs, and that's worth a lot on a distributed team. Cons There's not much I dislike about Ellacard. I would say it would be nice if there were more options with stickers/gifs. Happy with the variety we have now, though! I would recommend Ellacard to anyone who's looking for a good group e-card service at a decent price. Pros Ease of group signing and distribution. Tons of custom colors, fonts, and stickers. Good value for the cost. Cons The UI for adding images and graphics is limited. Transparent images don't work. Also, if someone I invite to sign a card has an OOO auto-response email set up, Ellacard interprets that response email as a "bounce" even though it's been successfully delivered. The ability to add photos, gifs, and really personalize each page makes it fun for the receiver. Cons The user experience for adding text boxes and new pages, plus editing those boxes and pages, isn't always clear for new users.
