You can create a design, invite anyone to sign it, and schedule it to send on their birthdays! We also sent a group wedding card and attached a gift card. Would reccommend to anyone looking to use it in a business setting. Cons It was a little difficult to pay for the gift card with ACH, so we had to incur a large fee to activate the gift card. The cards are ready for delivery at the appropriate time. Group cards are very easy to create. Cons Haven't found anything I don't like so far. I will keep looking. I don't like that I have to have a minimum of words typed before you accept me answers. Even if you run late on remembering your person's special day, you can get an Ellacard set up to send right away! This comes in handy for me when a paper card won't make it across the miles in time. I can count on Ellacard to reflect the intentionality of my heart- to make that person feel so loved, seen, and remembered. You can also use it to bring encouragement to someone who is struggling and needs a pick me up or did something amazing that you want to celebrate as a spur of the moment decision. Ellacard is always there. You can also sign and design on your phone which makes it a great tool for being on the go. Pros Ellacard is an amazing tool as a manager who loves to celebrate the people in my life. The ability to have our entire team add their personal flair when celebrating others makes this product my top choice. The recipient feels seen and known by their team members when they have GIFs, pics, and messages specific to them. It's not a generic paper card that gets thrown away. Cons No complaints. The platform is easy to use for someone who doesn't like tech. Anyone can use it and sign a card on your desktop or phone. " April 30, 2026 5.0 I have had a very positive experience with Ellacard and plan to renew my membership when it's up. My team has verbalized their enjoyment when they receive their cards. Pros This is a great tool for a workplace who loves to help celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, and other big moments (happy or sad) with their teams. I got a one year subscription which gives me 500 cards. I love the variety of card options and the ability to customize the envelope, font, color, confetti, and adding music. I haven't needed to utilize customer support, since the platform is so great and easy to use. So far all cards have been delivered as requested. Overall, I would highly recommend this service. Pros Ellacard has become one of those quiet little tools our team genuinely looks forward to using. Sending a card around is effortless — anyone on the team can drop in a note, a GIF, or a photo in seconds, and you don't have to chase people down or wrangle a shared doc. The card designs are actually nice (a low bar, but a lot of platforms miss it), so the final product feels thoughtful instead of corporate. Most importantly, it makes birthdays feel like a real moment. People light up when they open theirs, and that's worth a lot on a distributed team. Cons There's not much I dislike about Ellacard. I love that you can send the same card to more than one person which is convenient for holidays and birthday/graduation thank you cards. I think I'm on at least year two of using it. Pros The convenience to send a card in an instant on my phone or desktop! I used to work in retail pharmacy and had easy access to cards for different occasions. Now I work from home and I have 2 young children - and getting out to pick a card is not on our list of priorities! Plus they are very expensive these days! November 4, 2025 5.0 It is great, as mentioned. We use the automation feature on the website and it works very well with upkeep of our roster, employees can be easily added and removed without the need to redo a batch or start all over from scratch. Our team really loves using the GIF's and the differnt fonts and colors you can use. It helps spread so much cheer in the office and allows employees to engage with thier co-workers. We have used it to send outside people a "Thank you" and its also been well recieved. We are happy with the services and will likely continue to use Ellacard for as long as we have the budget for it. Pros I love Ellacard because of the ease of using the software. We use it for our company birthdays and it really helps spread alot of cheer in the office for employees. Cons In the first year that we utilized the system, there was no "automation" feature which made it difficult to upkeep the cards and remove employees who had moved on. Luckily, Ellacard now offers automation which has made things much easier as we dont have to think about redoing a batch each time someone left the company. I believe thier cards can be revamped but otherwise are cute and are company appropriate. November 19, 2025 5.0 My overall experience with EllaCard has been excellent. The platform is reliable, user-friendly, and backed by a supportive team that ensures everything runs smoothly. It has allowed our team moral to increase and we have started using it more often to increase of employee recognition. Pros Setting up automations was surprisingly easy and straightforward, which saved me a lot of time. Whenever I had a question, the EllaCard team was quick to respond and very helpful, making the whole process smooth. On top of that, our entire team is able to access and use the platform without any issues, which has made collaboration seamless. Cons One area I think could be improved is the initial learning curve. While the platform is powerful, it took a little time to get familiar with all the features. Once I got past that, though, it became much easier to use. Cons It's not as initiative to add new users to the automation sections. When I add someone to my contacts, I then have to navigate to the automation and figure out how to add them to that flow. November 20, 2025 5.0 Pros The best part about using Ellacard has been automating the process and being able to customize all the cards and messages. Making it very easy to manage and ensure the gift card gets to the correct person. So far the employees have been loving the digital cards and the choice of merchant for their gift card. The customer support team has a very quick turn around and have been very helpful with set up. Cons The ACH purchase of gift cards is a little different and requires bulk purchase to avoid using the credit card and incurring fees. I hear that self purchase of gift cards via ACH will be self-service in the future so I look forward to seeing how that improves the process and flow. Our plan allows for unlimited cards and it is very much worth the value. Receiving a card always brightens a day, and we encourage our staff (and managers in particular!) to use Ellacard to thank their employees. Creating a card is so quick and intuitive that it's almost always the first thing I reach for when I want to elevate a thank you, send well wishes, or remind people why they're great! Pros Ellacard is incredibly easy to use and has a shockingly huge inventory of cards to send. There are also a variety of sentiments you can choose, so picking the right tone for the recipient is a cinch. The cards are easy to fill out and to share with others, and I like that you can choose a date and time in the future to send the card so that it arrives at the right moment. Cons It would be fun to be able to add additional music choices but I understand music licensing fees may prevent this from happening. I've used competitor card/ board companies that were charging between $5 -13 per card, with limited customization options. This optimizes the pricing and the functionality in one neat package. Pros 1) Great value for the money. The pricing scale based on sends/signers is more affordable than paying one flat rate per card. Sometimes my teams send large cards with 50+ signers, and other times they send a card with 5-10 signers....it doesn't make sense to pay the same amount for both interactions. 2) Customizable with lots of features. The fact that each person can take up an entire page or multiple folks can sign a page, add personal pictures/Gifs/designs, and the ability to schedule the platform to send on your behalf. 3) Easy to use interface. 4) One platform for card and gift card (eliminating decision fatigue). 5) A simple way to show employee recognition with a small price. Cons Not really a con but would like the user experience for a paid account holder vs. a one time purchaser to be slightly different.
