And we love it - every birthday, the email goes out. It’s easy and fun to use - and I’d highly recommend it to anyone at a virtual company looking to do something to bring your culture and team together. We also love being able to choose any of the cards with our annual subscription - it makes it a lot of fun. Pros Ella card is a no brainer for our team and recognition. It’s well priced, easy to use, & is a great way to recognize our team members when they have a birthday or something goes a little bit sad in their life. Everyone on our team is easily able to put in their message. Some go as far to put poems or fun team images in there — and when you’re the recipient, it’s a jolt of joy in your inbox. Cons Nothing - Ellacard does exactly what we need it to, every single time & I never have to explain to our team how to use it. The customer service was fantastic. The rep answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns. We signed up for a yearly subscription. So far so good. Pros This E-card service is user friendly. There is a variety of card selections. We like the group signing and delivery date options. Cons No complaints thus far. We do not have any concerns or issues with the Ellacard service. Nothing further to note. Cons Sharing designs/creating cards with another team member is limited even if both are admins. The cost to send the cards directly to signers is pricey but we share the link instead. I've also told a number of my colleagues, and they have also gotten accounts for their teams/areas/departments Pros I really like that Ellacard has group work cards to choose from, and you can invite multiple people to sign a card, put pictures, personalization, etc. I love that you can get feedback from recipients as well. With so many options to choose from, I've used for birthdays, work anniversaries, retirement, employee recognition. It's super easy to use, and honestly a great value for the money. Cons Not sure if it's an Ellacard issue, my computer/internet, but sometimes things are very slow to load. I also would like some additional customizable features within the cards themselves...like better stamp choices. Also, I do notice that some cards in some selections don't quite fit. I would love maybe another layer of choices...instead of just "Group Cards", maybe filter that down to specifically "Work Related Group Cards". There are also a variety of sentiments you can choose, so picking the right tone for the recipient is a cinch. Pros love all of the various cards to choose from, the value of this program is very well worth the money put into it. love being able to include gift cards for every card. the automated feature is extremely helpful as well! employees love the cards we send them and they feel very recognized for every birthday or anniversary they have while working here! Cons the user interface is sometimes not the greatest when it comes to adding bulk customers. it's practically impossible to actually transfer employee information from an excel sheet to the contact sheet in ella card. also because we have a large amount of employees, i feel like the plans available to choose from are not enough. we were only able to use a few hundred cards at a discounted rate, and are now having to pay for each card entirely out of pocket. this is frustrating.
