As virtual invites for team events, cards for our clients recognizing anniversaries, team birthdays/milestones. We use it constantly, as a remote company it has been wonderful. Pros The convenience of creating group cards and gift card option is perfect for our remote team and clients. It helps us feel involved and connected to each other and allows us to easily recognize birthdays, milestones, life events etc. It's become an essential part of our company! Cons Some of the editing features can be a little fiddly, and I would love to see some new card designs. But that's only because we use it all the time, not a huge deal in the long run! The support could be a bit more responsive, but for the cost it is expected. Pros It is an easy way to be able to send out cards. Folks are able to add in pictures and write as much as they want. We also like that people can respond to their cards as well. Pros I love the ease in which I can send a card to multiple people for signature and automatic sending to an individual. Everyone likes to get these cards from their colleagues. Cons I wish I could personalize the front of the card with their name or make my own tweaks along the way as I see fit. The centralized service is incredibly convenient, and for the overall price of the business package, the value is absolutely worth it. Our employees really appreciate the added recognition and rewards — especially the occasional bonus of gift cards, which are always a hit! Cons The limit of 25 users for a business profile when our organization has continued growth which causes us to have to be super selective with who obtains access to the account. I call myself the Ellacard lady! The subscription makes this so affordable and a no-brainer for employee appreciation. Pros We love that this creates a way to show appreciation for our team members. This allows everyone to sign so easily. I schedule these ahead of time and do not have to worry about anything! We celebrate each other's victories, and it really keeps our company culture positive. Cons I wish more options would become available more often. Not just with the card design, but the colors, fonts, music and animations. After years of using this, I am now almost reusing everything. The ability to schedule send an entire batch of birthday cards for the year and have our managers get a few days to sign them is perfect, and great for employee recognition. Customer support has also been very receptive every time we've had quesitons. Cons If an employee stops working for us after we've already scheduled cards for the year, it can be a bit clunky to go into the order and delete or add individual recipients, but that's the nature of an evolving workforce. Using Ellacard makes it so easy to capture many contributors without a card being lost, customize what contributors can see or add to a card, and how it will be sent to the recipient. We have been using Ellacard for more than two years and we love the consistency and ease of it, it allows us to apply an equitable policy for all. I also love that we can load a balance and not worry about payment each time. Pros I appreciate all the options to customize each card and to send to the recipient. Very customizable. Cons Designs can feel a bit cheesy and as someone who is using these primarily for work, I would like to see more group cards or variety in the farewell section that are work appropriate. My overall experience has been positive and I think sending cards for recognition especially when most of our employees work remotely has improved moral and team spirit. Makes sending gift cards easy too. I recommend their service. Pros I like that it’s easy to use and I can setup automations. Customer service is quick to respond to questions or fixes. Cons The only improvement I can think of is the card selection could be improved because there are too many of similar design. Customer support is always super helpful. Best of all, Ellacards are cheaper than physical cards and allows us to celebrate our employees near and far! Cons It could be easier to understand how credits work. That's probably why we talk with customer support so much, because we're trying to understand why we're out of credits, and then we have to send links via work emails instead of directly through Ellacard, it becomes very manual fast. Pros We have multiple locations and this is the perfect solution to allow everyone to sign birthday & milestone cards. Cons Sharing designs/creating cards with another team member is limited even if both are admins. The cost to send the cards directly to signers is pricey but we share the link instead. You can create a design, invite anyone to sign it, and schedule it to send on their birthdays! We also sent a group wedding card and attached a gift card. Would reccommend to anyone looking to use it in a business setting. Cons It was a little difficult to pay for the gift card with ACH, so we had to incur a large fee to activate the gift card.
