### "ConnectWise - top quality products for your systems"

March 3, 2026

5.0

Pros

ConnectWise is a trusted product of ANC Group for internal resources and for our stable of clients we have.

Cons

There are other, similar products that compete with ConnectWise for equivalent services at lower price points for customers where cost is an issue.

I would definitely recommend it considering it's security & stability.

Pros

1\. The SIEM solution seamlessly integrates with ConnectWise Manage, allowing streamlined management and automation. 2. ConnectWise Siem provides real-time monitoring of security events & alerts enabling timely response to potential threats.

Cons

SIEM solutions require ongoing maintenance and optimization to ensure effective performance and prevent false positives.

### "ConnectWise SIEM - Better as PERCH"

May 4, 2026

2.0

Pros

ConnectWise Siem does a good job at filling the requirement that many compliance frameworks call for for event logging, escalation, firewall change logs - but apart from that it offers very little utility.

Cons

ConnectWise SIEM used to be a great product for what it was, but now offers much less value than competitors on the market. The insights provided via event escalation are minimal at best and the majority of the analysis is done by "AI."

### "Fully self service managed SIEM"

September 18, 2024

4.0

It's great to have access to everything I need without having to engage support engineers. I can do searches, setup custom reports, and onboard new customers. It's a little slow at times but it does what it says it can do.

Pros

Fully self service. I can setup new customers on my own as well as manage existing ones.

Cons

It can be slow to load at times with no indication something is loading.

### "A great product that has helped us immensly in providing cyberdefense to our customers"

January 5, 2021

5.0

A really great team, easy to get a hold of and really a big part of helping us stop the bad guys in our customers. We have multiple success stories from this product where a significant crisis was stopped before it became a crisis. Also, it is very reasonably priced. This has made it easier for us to approach even our smaller customer. Lastly, we use the product to help us protect and detect our own network.

Pros

The product is comprehensive. It touches the network, the individual hosts and cloud based resources. It all aggregates into a very flexible and feature rich SIEM or SIEM like tool that helps us really figure out what is going on.

Cons

When we first engaged with Perch they had not yet completed some key integrations. Those have been completed now. I can't really think of a current limitation that we wish were better. We are very happy with the product.

### "A true partner for improving cybersecurity"

January 5, 2021

5.0

Perch has built a product that enables us to provide detection across our client base. Their SOC makes our lives easier by going through the majority of the information collected, and alerts us when there is something we need to be aware of. They are rapidly adding new features and integrations, allowing us to stay on top of new threats.

Pros

Perch integrates with most of our technology stack, allowing us to collect log and event information, and create actionable alerts when anything suspicious happens.

Cons

The user interface needs some re-organization since so many new integrations have been added since it was designed.

### "Powerful SIEM Solution with Efficient SOC Support"

May 21, 2025

4.0

My company's experience with ConnectWise SIEM has been positive overall. In addition to a wide of array of options for collecting and analyzing data, the ConnectWise SIEM SOC typically suggests an effective solution for any problems found.

Pros

ConnectWise SIEM has a very large amount of options for collecting, analyzing and reporting log information.

Cons

The ConnectWise SIEM interface is a bit out of date and can be a bit difficult to navigate at times. UI speed can be noticeably slow at times.

### "High-powered SIEM solution."

May 13, 2025

5.0

ConnectWise SIEM centralizes the management and monitoring of security for multiple clients on a single platform. By collecting data from various sources, it provides a unified view of security. Through threat intelligence and behavior analysis, it proactively identifies suspicious activities and potential attacks, among other features.

Pros

ConnectWise SIEM provides simplified security management and monitoring for multiple clients through a unified platform. By centralizing threat visibility, analysis, and real-time incident response, it helps to secure customer information and reduce risk exposure.

Cons

Based on my analysis, I haven't identified any weak points or disadvantages to note concerning this tool.

### "ConnectWise, connecting the workplace, one computer at a time"

June 28, 2025

5.0

ConnectWise has been an extremely beneficial tool that we have utilized on a daily basis within our organization.

Pros

ConnectWise has been a game changer for our organization in the ability to remote in and fix computers. ConnectWise has allowed for extra cost and time savings by allowing an easy interface between the IT tech and the end user. I am extremely happy with this.

Cons

At first, we weren't able to see all our machines in the portal. It was determined that it was a setting issue and it was fixed almost immediately. I don't have hardly anything negative to say about ConnectWise

### "great product and worth the cost"

January 5, 2021

5.0

excellent. we have never had any issues and everyone we have worked with has always been willing to go above and beyond to assist. I really feel like they put their customers needs as priority #1.

Pros

customer support/noc interactions are fantastic. everyone is super knowledgeable and always willing to help. it does not matter what it is you need help with. it could be designing a query or dashboard to help finding a specific record. Also the constant improvement to the platform is great.

Cons

honestly at this time I can only think of a single item. and a change request has been submitted for it so I'm sure it will happen in the future. currently you can only connect to a single instance of Salesforce to collect logs. so if you have multiple instances you cannot collect all the logs.

Reason for choosing ConnectWise SIEM

Perch's personable approach and no nonsense ideas on how to address security really appealed to us. also the approach of collecting every log possible to get the biggest picture made perfect sense to us. During the POC the interaction with the Perch team basically sealed the deal.

### "MSP friendly threat detection"

January 5, 2021

4.0

Pros

MSP friendly threat detection. This space is filled with solutions designed for large enterprises, which is out of reach for a lot of typical MSP customer sizes and budgets. Perch is able to take a lot of the same technologies used in those enterprise solutions, make them affordable and easy for MSPs to use.

Cons

Alerting when things stop working. When things flatline, there's nothing configured out of the box that will notify you.

### "Simplified logging and monitoring"

January 5, 2021

5.0

Pros

Set up is very easy. Perch also continuously releases support for 3rd party API integration so you can centralize logs from several sources. Their network sensors take in data from various feeds (like FS-ISAC) to look out for trending indicators of compromise in your business sector. Web interface is very intuitive and clean.

Cons

Couple times I've had to power cycle network sensors because they go offline. They come right back up after that.

### "Perch is great!"

### "Threat Intelligence"

January 6, 2021

4.0

Perch Security provided an easy way to ingest threat intelligence and also share threat intel with other FSISAC members without additional overhead.

Pros

The integration with O365 has been a big benefit as a way to easily get information in one location. The setup process was extremely easy as well.

Cons

We utilize Broadcom SEP (Symantec A/V) and would've liked to see an integration with Symantec's suite of products.

Reason for choosing ConnectWise SIEM

Perch was the only product that had the features and Threat Intel sharing features we were looking for.

### "ITlogix, reveiw"

January 5, 2021

tiring to solve the puzzle of pulling in may alert sources into a good dashboard with alerting

Pros

The feature set seems to be complete from the marketing perspective. It checks all the boxes for what we are looking for and seems to integrate with our toolset.

Cons

the feater set does not work. For example, it does connect to our 3rd party services and pulls out logs in however the alerts are about useless and several of the integrations are only half done.

### "An excellent choice"

January 14, 2021

5.0

Pros

The integration features are very well done, we're really happy with Perch allowing us to have full access to our data as well as our clients data while still providing a SOC service.

Cons

I wish there was a way to reach someone immediately by phone in the event of an emergency, but we have not needed this so far.

January 11, 2021

5.0

Top notch. Everyone on the team is helpful and want you to be successful.

Pros

Having an IDS/SIEM that is geared towards the MSP market. The product is designed with how MSP's operate. Also, pricing is also aligned to the MSP market.

Cons

If I had to pick on item would be processes not 100% polished. However, support is good and will make sure your issue is resolved.

### "Efficiency at it's Best"

May 16, 2025

5.0

Overall it has been a great experience. The software is very user friendly. It is not too complicated and it is an efficient way to remote in.

Pros

I like how secure it is. In the dental world, I have to remote into other offices. I can count on it when remoting in to other offices.

Cons

Sometimes it slightly lags when I am remoting in to other offices. Not connect wise itself, but the computers I am remoting into.

### "Connect Wise. Expensive but worth it"

July 7, 2025

5.0

ConnectWise SIEM is pricey for what it does. The SOC-supported, automation-ready platform are a plus. Amongst the choices available, this software stands out for multi-tenancy, real-time detection, compliance reporting, and powerful integrations tailored to the MSP workflow.

Pros

Compliance & report automation are a big plus. The Prebuilt PCI/HIPAA templates, customizable dashboards, and QBR-ready “Hero Dashboard” for client reporting make life a lot better for the users and analysts

Cons

Deployment & developer support challenges are plenty . The Initial setup could be rough unless being held by the hand by an experienced implementation team. The feature requests and core bug fixes can feel overlooked due to limited developer responsiveness

### "Better and less expensive, certainly a great combination."

December 12, 2024

5.0

The team is easy to contact, which is a huge plus. SIEM, or Security Information and Event Management will help you stop a a problem before it becomes a crisis. For the price, it is hard to complain. We use Connectwise to assist in protecting and detecting threats on our own network.

Pros

Connectwise is more flexible and integrates better than other tools we looked at. It’s also less per month than many other options was lower cost then the others.

Cons

With Connectwise, I can't really think of any limitations that would make this product much better, at this point no cons.

### "Perch for MSSPs"

January 5, 2021

4.0

I have spent 100's of hours navigating, administrating, and configuring both the NDR and SIEM functions of this solution and overall I would say that it is exceptional in the NDR aspects but a little lacking in the SIEM aspects.

Pros

The community aspect. All SIEM resources, threat intel, suppression notes, alert comments, can be shared globally or restricted to your desired level. Additionally, this solution seamlessly combines NDR and SIEM into one slick easy to use and navigate solution portal. This makes life as a security professional monitoring and administrating this solution much easier than alternatively having to navigate and correlate information from two separate solutions.

Cons

The lack of developer support. This solution has what feels like infinite potential. However, that infinite potential feels squandered due to the lack of developer support and action. Feature requests often go unnoticed. Core functionality bugs are landmines for new users that do not know how to navigate them effectively.

Reason for choosing ConnectWise SIEM

More capabilities and scaling potential was found in Perch.

### "Perch Security - SOC-backed Threat Hunting and SIEM that is not complicated"

January 6, 2021

5.0

The people at Perch from the top to the bottom are great. If you run into issues, have questions, or just need some advice, they are there for you. Also, their SOC is based in Houston on USA soil which is important to many when you have someone watching your back from a cyber perspective.

Pros

The Perch solution has a very community-esque feel. Users of Perch love it and are not afraid to support one another, share tips, tricks, customizations, etc. This collaboration and feedback is also present within Perch and the improvements that are made to the product it reflect the users' requests and needs.

Cons

This is a product where the more one puts into it, the one gets out of it. It is no magic system out of the box per se. This is not really Perch's fault, but to the layperson, one could thing that.

### "Perch has made delivering advanced security services possible for our business!"

January 19, 2021

4.0

We love working with the Perch team! They have been there with us through the process to help us understand that it was the right tool for us and also in tweaking as our needs and their tool has evolved. Overall I would recommend that any managed services provider consider this tool in their stack if they want to protect, and impress, their clients.

Pros

Perch has enabled us to get all of the information about potential breaches into one place backed by a top tier set of experts who help us decipher it all. Our team has built an interactive relationship with the Perch team and our clients are thrilled that we are finding potential issues before they become breaches.

Cons

When we chose Perch to deploy to all of our managed clients, our initial deployment was a challenge. We expected this to be a smooth process led by the Perch team and that is not what we experienced. I believe that they have resolved some of these issues as recent deployments have gone more smoothly but when something wasn't working properly and they found the issue, it was typically a configuration issue that we never could have know needed to be done in a tool that we had never used. More guidance in this process would have been appreciated.
