Pros Since I'm using the Pro version of the software, I'm able to sync & resume work on my utilized PDF files across my home & office devices. PDF editing & exporting are the primary tools that I use, & Lumin facilitates these processes without any hassle. Cons My only nitpick would be the background auto-updates that increase the CPU temps & usage on my dual-core Athlon 200GE office computer when monitored using Task Manager. Pros Limit gave me all the resources to view and edit pdf files; I had no issues with their product or platform. Cons I did not have any specific things I did not like about using Lumin; I was satisfied but due to location and business operating system change, I changed my pdf software. But it’s very easy to access and the price point is great. Pros Lumin PDF works nicely for filling in pdfs and it’s compatible with a few other softwares. I like the ability to edit sharing and managing access Cons Lumin pdf can be very difficult to manage. Like a lot of off softwares, it can be difficult to edit the pdf even with shared access and edit-able pdfs. Founder Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Charged me $150 over five months for a product I used once - then kept $90" September 3, 2026 1.0 I signed up for Lumin's 7-day free trial in April to sign one document. I never opened the product again. The trial converted automatically and they billed me $30 a month for five months - $150 total - without sending a single renewal notice or receipt. I searched my entire mailbox, including spam and trash: nothing from Lumin except the trial welcome email. Their support later claimed they "send notifications for renewals as well as receipts." Not to me, they didn't. When I spotted the charges in August I canceled the same day and asked for a refund. What followed was nearly two weeks of their AI bot deflecting, a support agent hiding behind "policy does not allow for automatic refunds," and their system closing my ticket twice with a cheery "how did we do?" survey while my questions sat unanswered. To this day they have never provided a ticket number, a charge history, or a decision date - the three things I asked for in writing, over and over. After days of pressure they refunded $60 of the $150 and kept the remaining $90. When I pointed out that their own invoices contradicted their version of events, the reply was literally: "You always have the option to dispute the matter with your bank." So I am. If you sign up for the trial, set a reminder to cancel the same day, because this company is counting on you forgetting. And check your card statements. Pros It let me sign one document during the 7-day free trial in April, which was the one thing I needed it for. March 4, 2026 4.0 It is great, and my first choice for PDF singing and editing, but it is mostly paid to have comfortable use of it. Pros It is so helpful to use on Google Drive, which is where I first found it, and then I downloaded the desktop app and used it to fill forms, edit / sign PDF files and documents. and it is the best in understanding the structure of the PDF documents Cons It is limited in features when it comes to the free subscription, and it would be helpful to have it edit other types of documents. Cons I appreciate lumin PDF however I think it needs more sophisticated editing tools. I want to be able to redact my documents easier and make them fill-able pdfs easier as well. My colleagues & I also use Lumin since most of our documents are delivered electronically. Pros Lumin is really easy to view and edit PDFs with. UI is simple, and works great. It's my go-to PDF editor tool, and will continue to do so. It's recommended for users to try if you're looking for other alternatives. Thanks, Lumin team! Cons I wasn't able to discover Lumin earlier. All these while, I've been stuck with mediocre PDF editors, with hassle transferring and downloading multiple times for edits. Also, it would be great if there was a minimum of 3 signatures allowed. The existing 2 signatures feels very restricted. It's simple to modify and excellent for document signing. Pros Because Lumin is part of the Google Drive platform, using it is quite simple. It is simple to use every day to sign and amend papers and offers a wide range of capabilities. Lumin is far superior to document printing and scanning. I heartily endorse it. Cons At first, Google Drive's file saving or reuploading feature could seem a bit confusing. The Lumin PDF is also a bit challenging to utilize. Definitely makes things easier, as well as keeps all of my PDF documents in one place. Pros One of my favorite features of Lumin PDF is that it automatically saves my digital signature, so it's incredibly easy to add it to a new document. I can open documents in Lumin PDF directly from my email, or Google Drive. I frequently use this program in my line of work, and I wish I would have known about it sooner. It's the easiest program to use for modifying fillable PDF documents. Cons The only downside to this program is that you have to purchase a subscription to be able to use all of its features, but that's not abnormal. I use it for business but also for personal. I no longer print anything because I can simply do everything digitally.
