Overall experience with Smokescreen is very Good in terms of both deployment and support. Pros Smokescreen Deception platform is not complex to deploy and manage various types of Decoys in Network layer, Cloud, Endpoint, AD etc., The features available to selectively choose the services for Decoys is very much helpful to imitate the existing infra in network. Custom integrations with SOAR platform to help automate the tasks for Incident Investigation is built to reduce the manual efforts and save time. Most importantly, the support that we receive from team is very much helpful, useful in both effective deployment as well as incident investigation. The feature of automatically scanning the network to identify the type of devices deployed and automatically choose the services running makes Smokescreen Deception a Dynamic Deception platform. Kill Chain model coverage, Minimal False Positive alerts, Ease of Decoy deployment and Scaling, Signatureless Ransomware detection & Prevention capability, Detection of Spear phishing attacks are the key features that are very interesting and helpful. Cons As per the deployment experience, there were no things that make dislike about Smokescreen Deception platform. However, we expect the Endpoint level Deception to be improved with little more additional features and capabilities which will make the strategy work effectively covering all types of Decoys at Endpoint level.
