July 1, 2022 5.0 Intuitive, lots of tools and tutorials available online. Pros It has everything you would need for audio manipulation and editing. Updates are releases frequently, so issues appear to be resolved promptly. Pros Very intuitive, but even if there is something that isnt clear, the community have great in depth tutorials. Multi monitor support is great - being able to lay out the tracks effects and instruments on screen as I want. Cons I have not had any issues so far, however having previously been using Garageband, I miss the built in drummers it has available. Review Source FL Fabian L. Pros Reaper is a good platform for beginners. Firstly, it is free which would encourage anyone to install and begin learning. It is easy to use and produces good quality output. I made my first remix with Reaper with very little knowledge as to how to make one as it is pretty straightforward to use. Easy to import audio files, easy to drag and fit sounds to get a clean mix and easy to export audio. Cons I think it’s overall aesthetics could use some improvement as it looks a bit ancient. Pros If you're used to using Logic the features of this will be somewhat familiar. It's fairly easy to jump in and start recording. On first load it will catalog all your existing audio plugins. Like Audacity one can quickly record/monitor/loop audio. It's also pretty easy to add envelopes and crossfades using a Logic-type keyframe sort of system. Cons The UI is noticeably dated and inconsistent across the platform; some of the modules seem to use "default" (i.e. Windows XP-esque) theming. It's kind of an odd mix of skeuemorphic and minimal design which makes everything seem a bit disjointed. Review Source Sven H. Pros Reaper is just a very easy software to use for up and coming artists. It's cheap and intuitive, it's effective at its job and amusing. Compared to others, this seems to be lighter and faster. Cons The only trouble I had with this software are the tutorials but they can be found by just searching the tool name on google or youtube. Review Source TR Tony R. In the end if you are going pro you will need to spend more money. But you can purchase a user license extremely cheap and have most of the functions you need in a DAW to create and mix great music. Cons It just wasn't "pro" level. But again, for the money there is nothing out there that has as much to offer as Reaper does. If you aren't trying to mix to a movie or do some other pro level recording with advanced work flow requirements this is the DAW for you! Yo lo uso con neo piano y cero problemas Cons No es un contra per sé, de momento no tengo objeciones pero por lo que sea , a esta aplicación le está costando despegar y hacerse un hueco en el mundillo.
