Very good especially if you do voice over work, that doesn't require music or special effects. Pros I started to use it when I barely knew anything about audio editing and Adobe Audition seemed like an Everest to me, impossible to tackle. Nowdays, I still keep it on my PC if I need to do a quick recording or quick editing, without fuss. It takes little PC space and does a lot of work.Excellent punch in recording option that saves a huge amount of time and excellent for beginners in audio. Cons Honestly, I can't fault it. It gives a huge amount of value for free and it is easier to use than its bigger and more complex counterpart Adobe Audition. As a DAW and for basic-intermediate audio edits, it's brilliant. We use it to remove sound clips and record directly from the microphone. It can save and open MP3 files. It reminds me of cooledit. I recommend it for podcasting especially voice recording. Cons I really hope they add a feature that auto saves the recording in case the laptop runs out of charge and it suddenly turns off. So, when you restart the computer, ocenaudio gives an option to recover the audio. Reasons for choosing ocenaudio It is free and stable. Pros Ocenaudio is a freeware product that allows you to record almost anything on your PC. You have full control over the quality and format, and all controls are within easy reach. It is easy to use and does the job well. Cons A few more effects would be good, but that isn't what I use the software for. The important stuff is all there.
