It helps me a lot to recover some audios that come with background noises simply fantastic the audio is clean.
I recommend it for audio work and to complement those who are working on audiovisual projects and want to improve the sound aspect. White noise removal works quite good.
I find myself very comfortable with Audition because I can work in high quality and produce very satisfying podcasts, with great approval from my audience.
Cons
While Audition has a lot of advanced functionality, it means that it can be difficult to onboard new users. This is why only a few people on my team use the software.
Quite expensive when compared to its counterparts. Plus the UI is a bit confusing at the beginning.
I hate the fact that you can't use midi with adobe audition.
I think that still miss some tools, some plugins.

"Best Audio Software: Adobe Audition"
Pros: Linking up facilities with other adobe software and updated features I like most about adobe audition. It is easy to use. It has made my business more dynamic.
Cons: Slow functioning in long time work and high cost are the two thing I like least about adobe audition.
"Audition is a must to have"
Overall: i use this software everyday and i can't work without it, it's reference in the audio mixing world
Pros: it's perfect to manage simple or heavy audio mixing, especially in the radio production
Cons: little bit expensive and doesn't have a one time buy option
"Subscription never ends"
Overall: Do not recommend using this product or having a membership with Adobe.
Pros: Some of this software was intuitive so I could use it for basic editing of an audio file.
Cons: The subscription never ends! It is almost impossible to stop paying for this service. Do not sign up for this without trialling it to make sure it is the product you want. I have paid $32 a month for a year for this product and it did not meet my needs.
"Adobe Audition; number 1 for me since 2003!"
Overall: I've tried a lot of audio software during my time as a journalist and audition trumps the lot. Perhaps I'm stuck in my ways (can't teach an old dog new tricks) but it does appear to be the best overall. As mentioned before I love the microphone settings and the ease in which I can make a £100 microphone sound like a £1000 microphone, this is great! Its multitrack editing is awesome and easier to use than pro tools and the like. That said, I've not used audition for music creation or instrumental editing. So my view point is that of voice and trail/promo, interview creation only. I'm sure pro tools will trump adobe when it comes to music production.
Pros: The detailed microphone compression settings is without a doubt the best function of adobe audition. It's also great when you need a clean up audio hisses and pops, which can be removed easily.
Cons: I guess like most long time adobe users I miss the option of purchase over subscription. I originally bought this software 20 years ago when it was Cool Edit Pro, an expensive purchase at the time. Sadly now, like everyone else, I've had to resort to a monthly or yearly fee, over a single one off expense. So in conclusion, what I like least is the ongoing cost. I also find it a little hard to navigate at times, the help section could be better. A few more sound effects and presets would also be nice.
