Pros What I like most is how easy it is to use, and if you're looking for instructions on how to do something specific, it's very easy to find the answer in the Help Center. Everything is explained very clearly. Cons I really can't find anything I don't like about Mailer Lite. In my first campaign, I realized that many of my subscribers were getting my emails in their spam folders, but Mailerlite has a well-explained article on how to prevent this. I followed the instructions for my next campaign, and it worked very well. Stay away from this company unless you do not care about your transactional emails delivery. Pros UI is nice although sometimes it is buggy. Used to offer a generous plan with no monthly fee (no longer) Supports responds quickly but it is not flexible. Cons Their spam review process is completely terrible. I received ONE spam complaint (from thousands of emails being sent for over half a year) and account was suspended within a few days when I was on holiday and had limited access to computer, which prevented customer emails from being sent. To reactivate email sending, their requirement was to add a recaptcha and email verifications using their add-on service, which is somewhat reasonable but obviously takes time to do. They did not enable email sending until the latter was implemented. They changed their free plan (Hobby) to $7/mo forcing users to pay a monthly fee instead of just overage and the Free plan is a joke now. To protect deliverability for all MailerSend users, sending is automatically paused when this happens. Our team outlined the steps needed to reactivate sending, including adding reCAPTCHA and setting up email verification to prevent further issues. These measures are standard for accounts experiencing complaint spikes and are required before sending can resume. We understand how frustrating this can feel, especially when timing is difficult, and we genuinely tried to help get things back on track as quickly as possible. This is waste of time and funds i have amazing skills for email management and marketing but this was the worst system ever and i wasn’t able to use it. They have horrible product and even horrible customer service which is never helpful. I canceled without being able to use their service and paid for standard plan but never got to use it. Wasted my time and nerves and there is no refunds whatsoever. If there is one company i definitely hate its this one. Save yourself and stay away! When you've only used a software for less than an hour and get essentially banned from it while you're just trying to set up your account, it's not a good experience. Pros Nothing. I never got to use it because they rejected my account, and when I asked if they could provide a list of things I needed to fix, they just repeated that they could not approve my account. Cons That I couldn't even use it? I wouldn't be so upset if I could have just given any useful information to correct whatever was wrong. They say they perform a thorough check to determine the account's "validity." But they can't tell me where I failed the checks? And because I failed their criteria, my whole account is invalid?? What does that even mean or imply?? Their vetting process may be for a good purpose, but it is treating legitimate, genuine business owners like we're scam artists or something. It's like they're assuming you're guilty until proved innocent instead of the other way around, except you don't even know what crime you're being accused of and you have to prove you didn't do it. I've got major beef with their customer support just from the one interaction I had. I'm not even convinced a person (vs AI) responded to me. It was so unsympathetic that it might as well be a robot. No, I take that back. ChatGPT is much more sympathetic than whoever replied to me. If any mistakes are made on the site end they're quick to restore your account after proof fixes have been made have been shown and customer service was very fast. Cons The way multiple account types are handled and the two different registration/login portals are done can be confusing or cause you to accidentally get locked out of an initial account if you registered two "main" ones mistakenly to the same email, seems to be an oversight that'll hopefully be fixed/prevented in the future!
