Insgesamt habe ich eine gute Erfahrung mit Online Media Net gemacht. Es ist ein leistungsstarkes System, das die Medienverwaltung deutlich erleichtert und viele praktische Möglichkeiten bietet. Auch wenn es manchmal kleine Hürden in der Bedienung gibt, überwiegt der Nutzen klar und es spart auf Dauer viel Zeit.

Pros

Am besten gefällt mir an Online Media Net die klare Struktur und die große Funktionsvielfalt. Man hat alle wichtigen Tools zentral an einem Ort, was die Arbeit effizienter macht. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Medien einfach zu verwalten und jederzeit darauf zugreifen zu können.

Cons

Weniger gut finde ich, dass die Benutzeroberfläche an manchen Stellen etwas unübersichtlich wirkt und man sich erst einarbeiten muss, um wirklich alle Funktionen voll nutzen zu können. Teilweise könnten die Ladezeiten auch etwas schneller sein, gerade wenn man mit vielen großen Dateien arbeitet.

Ich benutze OMN sehr häufig und gerne in meinem Arbeitsalltag und bin sehr zufrieden! Gerade wenn es schnell gehen muss ist OMN perfekt.

Pros

Von der Produktanlage bis zur finalen Werbemaßnahme unterstützt OMN den kompletten Prozess. Alle digitalen Assets (Bilder, Videos, Texte, Layouts etc.) werden zentral verwaltet und es gibt keine doppelten Versionen mehr.

Cons

Bei großen Artikeln und Mediendatenbeständen ist der Einstieg komplex. Und Lizenzkosten, Implementierung und Betrieb sind nicht günstig

Mit dem OMN realisieren wir unsere Marketingmaßnahmen im Bereich Webshop- und Katalogproduktionen. Durch die gemeinsam genutzte Datenbank stellen wir sicher, dass an allen Ausleitungspunkten immer die gleichen Assets und die gleichen Produktbeschreibungen verwendet werden, sofern nötig. Falls andere Texte gewünscht werden, können die schnell angepasst werden. Wir verwenden das System auch für die Lokalisierungen unserer Assets und Produkttexte. Das Team von apollon, das uns hier unterstützt ist sowohl in Supportfällen, als auch bei Rückfragen und bei Change-Requests immer zur Stelle, hochmotiviert, sehr kompetent und freundlich.

Pros

Sehr umfassendes und flexibles DAM-PIM-System, mit dem die unternehmerischen und betriebsinternen Prozesse sehr gut abgebildet werden können. Sehr kompetentes, flexibles und freundliches Team, das schnell auf Anfragen reagiert.

Cons

Im Standard ist eine Menge enthalten, sobald man diesen Weg verlässt und weitere Funktionen benötigt, werden die Updates, die man durchführen muss, meist regelmäßig kostenpflichtig, da die Änderungen am System entsprechend von einem Entwickler bei apollon getestet und angepasst werden müssen. Falls ein Bugfix oder ein Change Request nur mit der Änderung des Programmcodes umgesetzt werden kann, dauert das alles etwas länger als üblich und kommt mit einem Update des Systems.

Für uns ist das OMN von Apollon eine leistungsstarke und vielseitige Lösung, wenn es um das Datenmanagement geht. Als PIM-System ermöglicht es uns, Produktdaten zentral zu erfassen und die Qualität unserer Informationen signifikant zu verbessern. Die integrierte Asset-Verwaltung ist dabei ideal, um Bilder, Videos und andere Medieninhalte perfekt den Produkten zuzuordnen.

Pros

Das OMN hat uns geholfen, unser Datenmanagement grundlegend zu verbessern. Wir können jetzt alle Produktdaten zentral erfassen und so die Qualität unserer Informationen deutlich steigern.

Cons

Ein Nachteil unserer aktuellen Nutzung sind die Import- und Exportfunktionen, die in unserer älteren OMN-Version noch verbesserungswürdig sind. Wir wissen aber, dass Apollon diese Funktionen in der neuesten Software-Version bereits deutlich optimiert hat. Das Update haben wir bereits geplant.

Der Funktionsumfang des Standards ist toll (wir nutzen PIM, DAM, Channelmanagement und Workflow-Module sowie einige Integrationen wie CI-Hub und AI-Services zur Texterstellung und Bildbearbeitung). Unsere Mitarbeiter schätzen, dass sie auf die in OMN gespeicherten Daten direkt von ihren Desktop-Tools wie O365-Anwendungen und Adobe Suite-Tools wie Photoshop zugreifen und diese verändern können.Andererseits ist die Benutzeroberfläche intuitiv, anpassbar und reduziert die Komplexität. Wir nutzen auch die API, um bestimmte Daten aus OMN aus unseren internen Anwendungen abzurufen.Was uns am besten gefällt, ist die Möglichkeit, Produktdaten und zugehörige Assets wie Bilder, Videos, PDFs strukturiert und einfach zu verwalten und in verschiedenen Kanälen wie unserem Shop, ebay oder amazon zu verteilen. Die Funktionalität für die Datenpflege, das Ändern von Datenmodellen inklusive Vererbung und Massenbearbeitung erleichtert uns die Pflege der Produktinformationen.Schließlich ist es die nahtlose Integration von Komponenten und Diensten, die uns die tägliche Arbeit erleichtert und den Aufwand auf ein Maximum reduziert

Cons

Das Produkt verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Modulen und Funktionalitäten mit erweiterten Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten. Am Anfang wirkte dies sehr komplex.OMN bietet zum Beispiel viele, viele verschiedene KI-Dienste für ähnliche Disziplinen wie generative Textgenerierung. Wir haben aber relativ schnell im Projekt herausgefunden, dass dies ein großer Mehrwert ist
