Brand Overflow provides the grouping of keywords based on their segments such as phrases, questions, shopping, research, and local. I also like the tree format which reveals the common modifier of the keyword phrases. Pros I like Brand Overflow's backlink module that I use to analyze my competitors' backlinks. The report shows you the new and lost backlinks, which is precious information. I can use both data to build an outreach program. Cons What is missing is the domain authority of the backlinks. This information is vital to filtering strong and weak domains. It would be time-saving as I hate using a separate tool to do it. Review Source Michele B. I can get the job done for myself and for clients without breaking the bank. Pros I like Brand Overflow's ease of use and core functionality. I can do basic SERP analysis, keyword trend analysis, and rank tracking. It gets the job done at a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger programs out there. Cons Some of the features, such as the audit tool need more functionality and building out. But I fear the team might spread themselves too thin if they focus on too many features. Also, some of the tools are a little confusing from an overlap perspective. But the recent UI update has helped immensely with usability. Early into the beta testing phase, I became aware of Brandoverflow, and I've been grateful ever since. In terms of implementing new features and fixing bugs, the team is extremely responsive and fast to react. The company is responsive to the market and does listen to the suggestions of its users. I am very happy with how things are going so far. Among all the new features they published, I like the keyword tracking feature most. Pros It is the Rank Tracker that I enjoy the most. My personal opinion is that it is one of the most accurate Rank Trackers I have ever come across and I see that it can easily compete with other similar trackers like Semrush, Mangools, SE Ranking, Ahrefs. Moreover, a huge advantage of this software is that it is affordable without compromising on data quality, which is what I value the most. Another thing I find particularly interesting is the addition of a variety of modules for Keyword Research, SEO, SERP analysis, and Backlink Monitoring within the platform itself. Cons I have discovered a problem with exporting the ranking keywords URL list. This is still unresolved. It would be greatly appreciated if this can be solved in the near future. Pros The agency features allow for the use of a custom domain with your own URL and a custom-made logo. This works well for me because I customize the tool for my customers' SEO. Cons My main concern is that the information is displayed in English (all my clients are French) as well as the user interface. There are some very valuate tools that are missing like competitive keywords comparison with competitors and finding the organic web traffic of competitors. It's the best solution for entry-level SEO and small agency, and I really recommend it Cons It's built on its own data infrastructure, so it's not reliable as the big players as Ahref and SEMrush. Cons Saving the data, when I save different keywords to a list, it would be great to carryover the actual data that associate with the keywords, instead of just a blank keyword. Reason for choosing Brand Overflow Pricing, I almost pulled the trigger on Ahref for a 3 months-long project. But the cost is many times of Brandoverflow. However, there are a lot of redundant features within the platform. I like the fact that you can also get information from other tools like Moz, Majestic, etc. I believe Brand Overflow's impressive insights and backlink monitoring will make it a real contender down the road. I did not feel that I had to wait a long time to get results (which is always a good thing). I felt UI was easy to navigate as well. Back link monitoring I think this feature is very useful in finding backlinks to your website or a competitor's website. You can use that info to see if there are any hidden gems. Pros I like the backlink and SEO results provided. I think the page speed is pretty quick and the UI is very easy to navigate. Cons The information throughout the site is repetitive and there are some minor filtering issues. Also not a huge fan of Ad Explorer (to be fair, it is in Beta). On Domain Insight was told a few times to enter a valid domain when the domain was correct. Would be nice if SEO audit would identify suggested keywords for site instead of just using user input. They provide excellent customer support and are constantly looking to evolve the platform by adding new tools. Moreover, they have an excellent online community on FB whereby they are in continuous dialogue with their users. I believe Brand Overflow will continue to go from strength to strength. Pros Brand Overflow offers a suite of useful and insightful tools for SEO. My favourite application for Brand Overflow revolves around Keyword Research. The Keyword Generator, Keyword Explorer and Question Explorer are particularly useful when coming up with ideas for generating content. Cons Brand Overflow have a while to go before they can truly compete with the likes of Ahrefs and SEMRush but they are on an excellent trajectory. I really would love for them to add a Global option to their research tools. Currently only being able to research on a country by country basis is time consuming and can easily be improved. It gives you insights on what keywords to use and it also gives you other related keywords that you can use. Cons In keyword tool, when you search for a keyword and it returns you with a lot of results, it's kinda difficult to find the keyword you originally search for. Though there is the search bar, but when you search for the specific word or phrase, it will still give you a bunch of results that consist of the word or phrase that you search.
