I found G360 Surveys when looking for a new tool to support an exciting new client. I was pleased to discover how simple yet comprehensive the report is and the price made it easy to fold into my overall proposal. I was able to leverage one of the standard surveys but add my clients' Leadership Principles, providing the perfect balance of feedback. When my client experienced some technical issues, the G360 team went above and beyond to get them solved. Excited to have G360 Surveys in my tech stack for all of my executive coaching clients going forward.

Pros

Simple set up, easy to navigate dashboard, thoughtful standard surveys with easy customization.

Cons

Nothing so far, I am in process with our first project.

I learned a lot from conducting the survey with my team. I think every team/manager should go through these exercises yearly to see how they are doing. They really do provide constructive feedback on where your strengths and weaknesses are.

Pros

Ease of use. The reporting section was great too. Explains everything clearly.

Nothing really. I felt that it was straight forward, easy to use.

I used G360 surveys with university-level business students after they had done considerable work together in teams. As you can imagine, young people can often have an undeveloped view of how they impact other people for good or for ill. Getting this kind of feedback specific to each of them, along with the follow-up resources, is very useful and productive at this stage of life. Some students get newfound encouragement and confidence from the process, while others get corrective feedback in a very honest but low-risk way. Students are often surprised at their results, and always very grateful for the process.

Pros

1\. G360 was incredibly easy, both during setup (which took very little time); for the evaluators, who found it complete without being time-consuming; and for those evaluated, who found the reports straightforward and easy to understand. 2. There are specific follow-ups for each area of improvement--websites, readings, tips, etc. So each person being evaluated receives not only a critique, but professionally chosen resources for how to improve in that specific area. People (both evaluators, who want to be helpful, and those evaluated) really appreciate this. 3. The ability to compare oneself not only to local norms but also to a much larger population gives everyone confidence that there is a lot of research and data behind the results. 4. The price is very reasonable, especially for the value received.

Cons

Honestly, to get anything better (meaning more customized) would cost many multiples of the G360. To get all that is included (including all the follow-up resources) at this price is remarkable.

Reason for choosing G360 Surveys

I had been a user of G360 Surveys and was impressed by them, and when I found out the price, it was clear that there was nothing else out there that combined the affordability and usefulness. It was an easy choice the first time, my expectations were exceeded, and I now regularly use G360.

Based on comparison with other surveys and companies that I have worked with, I would rank G360 at the top. They have earned that position!

Pros

G360 surveys are easy to use: intuitive, convenient for all involved. The reports are in-depth, but focused, allowing supervisors and direct reports to gain maximum advantage. I like the fact that the survey is based in research, not just random questions that may or may not be important. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is an expert in his field, with strong academic credentials and real-world experience. I also appreciate the focus on steps toward improvement. It is not just a diagnostic assessment, but offers resources on how to improve.

Cons

I would like to see even more videos and advice from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] embedded in the survey reports. The more wisdom we can get from him, the better!

We have very much enjoyed using G360 Surveys over the years. From the ease of use to the simplicity of the process and tools, we have been very satisfied. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is great to work with – on my end and the participants’ end. He is my main contact for any questions or requests, and he also conducts coaching sessions with participants to debrief their results, unpack the feedback, and create a development plan. He’s very responsive and helpful. Our people say his sessions are eye-opening and they appreciate his respectful, yet direct approach and his outside perspective.

Pros

Great value for the price. Very easy account setup, administration of assessments, and management of overall process. At the end of the participant report, there are embedded resources for all the competencies, including descriptions, suggestion actions, recommended books, articles and videos – incredibly useful.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that the survey reports are pretty basic (especially compared to some other vendors we use), perhaps too simple. At the same time, this is why we use it - for it's simplicity.

Reason for choosing G360 Surveys

We actually use multiple products and vendors based on different needs. However, G360 is my go-to for most of our 360 needs.

Pros

G360 Surveys was so easy to use and incredibly impactful for my client. I was able to launch the survey and gather feedback from over 20 people my first time using the tool, without any issues at all. I loved how the report provided both quantitative and qualitative feedback as well as a guide to establish a development plan. It provided my client with actionable insights and highlighted a number of blind spots he was unaware of. If you are looking for a 360 degree survey to use, this is it.

It's eye opening. I think it should be used routinely in the workplace in order to enhance self awareness.

Pros

I appreciated that the survey allowed me to compare my opinions about about specific traits to the opinions of others. This enabled me to know where to focus energy on for improvement as well as what others thought I was doing well!

Cons

I wish it would keep the survey open for longer than 3 days automatically - I'd recommend 5 to 7 days.

Great! Again, this is a must-have for any leader who wants to be a successful leader.

Pros

This 360 employee review software is a must have for any manager or leader who wants to be their best self. No leader can expect to be effective unless they understand their own strengths and weakness. Relying solely on annual reviews completed by your supervisor is extremely one-sided and only tells you how good you are at \*following\*, not \*leading\*.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons for this software.

Pros

I loved everything about it, It was easy to use and gave you a look at yourself in the eyes of others.

Cons

I wish I knew that if you only had a certain amount of a group fill it out but not enough, they fall into the category with another group.

Great tool for gathering feedback on how your leadership is perceived by others at multiple levels of your organization. Getting a face-to-face with G360 personnel to go over the feedback was incredibly valuable.

Pros

Useful and well structured report on feedback from those you supervise, from colleagues, and from those who supervise you; easy to use and deploy

Cons

Categories of people solicited to give feedback could be more flexible; would be nice to at least annotate what the categories meant in your particular case

Overall I found G360 surveys to be one of the single most helpful professional development tools in my career. The clarity of questions and analyzed results helped me identify my areas of strength and areas for improvement in a more actionable, useable way than any other tool I've used. Being a repeat customer, I have tracked my progress between surveys on my areas for improvement and found interesting insights while also seeing consistency in my core values as a professional.

Pros

What I like most about G360 Surveys is the clarity of questions and analysis of results allowing for productive feedback. It can be difficult to get constructive feedback from respondents and G360 helps collect that into a useable format.

Cons

I love G360 Surveys, having used it twice in my career and am coming back for a third time. I have very little in the way of feedback, but if I were to name one thing I would ask for more options to group survey respondents. Now that I am a contractor, I have a large network to solicit feedback from and I would like to tag them by contract as well as role to get an overall picture of my performance.

My experience with G360 has been positive. The cost of the report is lower than that of many others I reviewed and provides the same information. It is an excellent alternative to some of the larger and more popular 360-degree surveys.

Pros

G360 was easy to set up and use. The reports were understandable and provided valuable feedback for our employees. I was able to check the progress of a survey easily and send reminders as needed.

Cons

Downloading multiple reports can be time-consuming. It would be beneficial to have an all-inclusive report that can be downloaded.

I’ve launched multiple 360 reviews through G360 over the last eight years in my role as VP of HR, and I have no interest in looking at other solutions. G360 is simply too easy to use, and the feedback reports and analysis are both clear and highly informative. The reflection worksheet provided to the person being reviewed is a fantastic tool, and our leaders and staff have consistently gained tremendous value from the process.

Pros

What's not to like! The 360s are so easy to administer and manage and the feedback reporting and analysis is exceptional. Great value too.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about G360. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and delivers high-quality insights every time. If I had to identify an area for improvement, I would say to include more built-in tips or best practice suggestions for facilitating the feedback discussions that follow. These are minor points, though — overall, the platform far exceeds my expectations and remains my top choice for 360 reviews.

We are a small nonprofit and are just starting to use G360 for our leadership team. Ask me this question in a year!

Pros

I was looking for a competency based 360 assessment and after much research found G360 and all my wishes were answered and some! Plus the online support modules make it even easier to provide leadership support.

Cons

Nothing so far! Given the extensive research I conducted on 8 other 360 products, I don't expect to find a downside to this product and the support.

Reason for choosing G360 Surveys

I narrowed the list down from eight to three products that were research-based and based on the Lominger Competencies. Reports from the other companies were cumbersome and confusing and I am certified in those assessments! The only ongoing support from the others required paying for consultant support. Although I was certified in these other assessments, I did not have the capacity to support all our leaders. G360 not only offered the online ongoing support, but the interpretation of the Lominger Competencies was an improvement on the original with language less convoluted and easily understood.

I did research on several 360 options and this one was well designed for small business. The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was very helpful in answering my questions. It was easy to learn and use. I would recommend it to any of my clients.

Pros

The results were very insightful yet only took the rater a few minutes to complete. Reports were well laid out and easy to understand.

Cons

As the administrator, I would like to have known the items under each competency. Another product I have used gave that detail which was helpful for feedback discussions.

Reason for choosing G360 Surveys

Reasonable price and I could easily buy a package of 4 surveys. Competency sets fit the application I was looking for.

Pros

The G360 is the most intuitive tool I’ve seen in the 360 assessment space. The user experience is universally positive, the report is clear and easy to understand, and the feedback is presented in a way that can be easily discussed because everything is research-based. For all of these reasons, the G360 makes what could be a very difficult feedback moment much easier.

Cons

At times, the G360 Team version can \*feel\* time-consuming, depending on the number of team members that need to be reviewed, but it is always worth it.
