Reporting, Prior Auth, Claims Processing and Patient Billing are now much easier with Unlimited. Pros The design and user experience is the best medical software we've seen and also really love all the automation and customization it allows. (not out of the ordinary) We always receive prompt assistance with the tickets/calls we place. They are prioritized based on your urgency. I am very pleased with the overal function of the system. Customer service is truly a priority. Pros I have worked in the system for over 15 years. The system is user friendly and effective. Cons Our main issue has been the struggles through interfacing with our "unique" EMR system. (which I believe would be normal) Reason for choosing Unlimited Financials The functionality of the system was the best. Business Office Manager Hospital & Health Care Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Like Trying to Use AOL in 2021" March 4, 2021 2.0 When we bring issues forward, it seems that there is never a resolution, just merely a "Sorry it is what it is." I often describe Unlimited as "trying to use 1994 AOL dial up in 2021" because that is how old and outdated the technology feels. The program CONSTANTLY freezes and my staff have to force close the program multiple times per day. In addition we're unable to run benefits at the beginning of the month because there servers are so bogged down by all of their clients. We now understand why so many people are switching from other platforms to go to Unlimited. Pros We really like everything about Unlimited. Really solid program and tech stack that allows our teams to operate smoothly. Cons We had some support issues due to our representative leaving but that has since been resolved and are great. Happy they aren't offshore support centers, actual people in the US. The platform has helped improve how we manage billing, patient accounts, payment processing, and day-to-day revenue cycle tasks. It gives our team better visibility into our work and helps reduce manual follow-up. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful when questions come up. Overall, it feels like a product built with specialty practices in mind, not just a one-size-fits-all billing system. Pros Unlimited Financials makes it much easier to manage the financial side of a specialty practice in one place. The biggest value is how well it supports billing, collections, patient management, and reporting without feeling like a generic system that was not built for our workflow. It helps our team stay organized, work accounts more efficiently, and get better visibility into what needs attention. Cons Like any system, there is a learning curve at first, especially for team members who are used to doing things a certain way. Some workflows take a little time to fully understand, but once the team gets comfortable, the system becomes much easier to use. It has helped us become more efficient, improve visibility into our revenue cycle, and reduce a lot of the manual work our team was doing before. The software is reliable, and it’s clear that the company understands the challenges specialty practices face. Overall, it’s been a solid investment for our organization. Pros The biggest thing for us was that it actually feels like it was built for specialty practices. We were able to streamline a lot of our billing and collections processes, and the reporting gives us a much better picture of how the business is performing. The support team has also been great to work with and is quick to help when questions come up. Cons The system has a lot of functionality, which is great, but it can take some time to learn everything that’s available. There was definitely an adjustment period for our team during implementation, but once everyone got comfortable, it became much easier to use. We didn't have the analytics we needed to set meaningful metrics for process improvement. All of the above were solved. Pros Very intuitive software. Prevents claims from going out with edits, MUE's, Dx codes, LCD's or other factors that will result in a denial. Eliminates expensive manual, wasteful steps. Great analytics. Cons The loading. 60% of my time is spent waiting for the software to keep up. Sometimes it just doesn't load vital features, forcing me to reload the whole program. It's especially egregious with the built-in workflows, where there's a 50-50 chance an action will cause half the page to not load.
