The technical support staff has always assisted me well and provided excellent support. Pros Good software experience and excellent professionalism working with customer and technical support. They've always been very patient with me and worked with me to resolve any of my software upgrade needs. Also, seemed like some areas, including setup were not very intuitive and 'overdone.' We've been with TCP for right at 15 years - so we've seen the company grow and expand....always striving for excellence for their customers. We consider ourselves part of the Friends and Family group ;o) Pros The ability to export the time and attendance into Ascender. TCP makes it easy to export your time and attendance straight into your payroll system. All of your pay transactions and leave goes into Ascender in seconds....literally. Cons Not always being able to communicate in such a way that a desired outcome is met.....TCP KNOWS their product - but they don't know ours - so it is super important that we are able to understand each other when working on a problem. In my opinion. Timeclock systems should have evolved to that level by now. Pros Online use. Customer support was easy to work with. As the payroll admin it was easy to print out reports to send to the managers. Each time I come up against something that is not working, the support team has been able to offer a fix. They are very knowledgeable and patient with what the situation /need is. Pros What I like most about TCP is that it meets and in, some cases, exceeds my needs & expectations. The program works great for the flexible shifts, employee information, reporting, etc. Cons The only thing I do not like about TCP is that I cannot drag and drop shifts in the advanced scheduler. Our Payroll used to take 2 days to finish and we're down to 4 hours using TCP. You can't beat that! Pros The speed and efficiency that we're able to process our Payroll using TCP. The scheduling and accrual functions are great also. Cons Just some little bugs here and there. For example, when you run an export with filters on it and then go back to employee profiles to move on to something else, the filters from your export are still set from the export. Cons So far, we have had no issues with the software. Initially we had to get familiar with it being in the cloud and their service schedule, but we have rectified that. Pros TimeClock Plus was a great value for the price, and it was easy for employees to use. It was also easy for us to track hours to enter into our payroll software. Cons We quickly outgrew TimeClock Plus and it could not support our growing practice on its own. I have been able to use some pretty cool features while working with TCP. Pros I like that it lets HR professionals track timesheets within a company. Timeclock customer service is always there to help when I have any questions. Cons Sometimes it can be difficult to use timeclock. Luckily, customer service is very good about doing everything they can to help me find a solution. It worked well, but wasn't the most convenient thing to use. Pros Does what it is supposed to do. It kept good records that were fairly easy to filter and sort as needed. It's not so complicated that employees with limited digital literacy skills cannot use it comfortably. Cons Occasional glitches when clocking in/out via the web or mobile app can lead to inaccurate time tracking, requiring manual correction. It is a perfect software to use with employees and it is so easy to do. When we first implemented the software in my school district it took no time for employees to get adjusted and understand what they needed to do. Pros Great interface for employees to request time off! The mobile app is very convenient for this and staff has been receptive to this new way of putting in requests. Cons Since we are a school our leave runs on a fiscal year, rather than calendar year, which is apparently not compatible with TimeClock Plus. There are newer software programs that have a much cleaner interface and integrate with accounting softwares for the same price. Auto renew has a 90 day cancellation. If you don't cancel before the 90 days, you are stuck for another year. Pros It was affordable and customer support was competent Cons Mobile clock in and out was sporadic, field guys complained that at times they couldn't clock in. Had to delete and download the software again. Management interface was cumbersome and software did not integrate into my accounting software. We integrate with 300+ payroll providers, so the combination of us not integrating with your payroll and your trouble with mobile apps causes concerns for us. Time Clock Plus employees have consistently been great to work with. We have changed and added options over the years and they have been with us every step of the way. The employees, all of them, remind me of a family that enjoys spending time together whether it is work or having fun and their customers always come first. Regardless of what the future holds, I hope they never lose that! Pros Integrating can be stressful and time consuming with any software but Time Clock Plus walked us through each step and continues to provide support. The software is easy to use, gives us the information we need and exports to our payroll. Cons I would like to have more options to personalize some of the reports. It also freed up 60% of the time bookkeepers were dedicating to payroll at individual schools/departments to dedicate to other tasks. Pros The seamless integration with our payroll software; the ease in fully automating ALL manual, paper-based time/attendance/payroll processes; the ease of detail reporting; the EXCEPTIONAL customer support; the ease of use for employees and managers; the accuracy in maintaining federal and state compliance; the management of COVID-19 related matters; the ability to track FFCRA, FMLA, and other compliance tracking; the management of the company and care it provides to customers; and the knowledge base of the support team and resources available for users. Cons There is nothing I do not like about TCP. I submitted several requests for enhancement to company readily designed and implemented. Reason for choosing TimeClock Plus When vetting Time and Attendance software, not only were TCP's feature superior to other products, but it willingly build a module needed to work with the specifications of our payroll software--dynamic!
