With ps turned on we can also see where pur techs are and how long they spend at each location. " August 5, 2024 1.0 Pros It is decent at finding the correct geofence however, it shows the phone on the other side of town when in a building that doesn’t have good reception. Cons The app tracks even off the clock. It also automatically clocks in when driving by a job site after hours & weekends. It dramatically reduces the battery life on phones from the constant GPS tracking. It doesn’t have a drive time feature or have a great way to add per diem other than using notes. Switched from [Procore](https://www.capterra.com/p/56250/Procore/) The cost of Workyard was significantly lower than ProCore however, I liked the functionality of their app better. Workyard is always open to new ideas that can make the product better. Pros The system is easy to use for both myself as well as employees. Accurately tracks job costing. I really like the ability to upload time sheets into my accounting software. No more time sheets rounded up by employees. Cons Sometimes the auto clock in does not work. Also would like to have employees be able to add note to day they do not clock in. The trial period allowed us to completely navigate the features we were seeking. The setup was easy to navigate. Even if you aren't tech savvy, you can quickly learn how to use it effectively. Pros We are using the product mostly for mileage reimbursement purposes. The software accurately logs distance traveled and makes the reimbursement process seamless for our organization. Cons When we are using the automatic clock in/out feature, it likes to clock in on the weekends. This is probably something we are not doing correctly! Glad the mileage tracking is making reimbursement straightforward for your team. On weekend clock-ins, that happens when a phone enters the project's geofence while location access is on. Since the geofence itself doesn't know what day it is, it can happen even when off the clock. Our support team can help tighten the project's radius so it doesn't trigger as easily. HH Heather H. " April 2, 2025 5.0 I signed up for a free trial because my small handyman business is looking for something for scheduling and dispatching. Workyard ended up being more of an internal product rather than something we would use to contact and schedule our clients. Within ten minutes of me posting a question within chat ("Can I integrate my Google calendar?"), someone called and emailed me with an answer. Within 4 hours of signing up for my trial, I had a demo scheduled and completed. \[sensitive content hidden\] on my demo was GREAT. He was really helpful sharing what Workyard does well and also very honest about the fact that it wasn't going to fit my wants and needs. I \*WANTED\* this to be THE software because the team was so great, but at least now I know definitively. Pros SNAPPY customer service and savvy onboarding. Their small team really gets things done. Not allowing them to personally change their clock in and out times has also been a plus. Now they have to prove they were on time and where they went and I can change the times. We were able to identify the team assigned to us from the beginning. From phone calls, to Zoom calls, to pop ups while using the program, we have been in good hands but honestly the app is so user friendly, we haven't had to ask for much additional help. Pros Prior to signing up for Workyard, we were using a time clock. Workyard has given us with real time work tracking, including drive times, paid breaks, and unpaid lunch breaks. The accuracy and ease has made us so much more efficient, accurate, and professional. Cons At this point, really nothing. We have used this for less than 6 months so we are still learning but am beyond satisfied with what we have utilized at this point.
