There have a been a few gaps in our requirtements - however the team at CA have always been receptive to these and have added lots of new functionality to support us.

Pros

We moved from another supplier due to the manual payments we were having to collect from our guest. We were not able to use security deposits for guests. It has enabled our growing business to automate its payments in a secure and flexible manner.

Cons

Very small but as we are based in the UK some of the features and set up is based in $ rather than £

### "WORST NIGHTMARE AND SCAM"

RATING : 0 ( if I could rate negative I would) Our experience with ChargeAutomation has been an absolute nightmare. Despite not using any of their services for an entire year, we were forced into a non-refundable contract. We subscribed based on misleading claims that ChargeAutomation could easily integrate with PayPal Business. However, we later discovered that additional, undisclosed steps were required. This bait-and-switch tactic cost us valuable time and money. The layers of coordination—starting from Hostaway to ChargeAutomation, then to Cybersource, GlobalPay, and Paynamics—added nothing but financial burden. This tangled mess has been incredibly frustrating and costly, with no benefit to our business whatsoever. The customer service is abysmal. Ian from ChargeAutomation not only refused our refund request but also fought with us when we tried to discuss our concerns. He even made a fuss about the negative review we left, showing a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction. This company is nothing short of a scam. Avoid ChargeAutomation at all costs if you value your time, money, and sanity.

Pros

NONE AT ALL. We never got to use their services and they charged us so much. Ian is the worst customer service representative you could ever encounter. The most arrogant person I have ever talked to.

### "Makes Payment Processing Easy"

Overall this software is excellent. It has made the day to day task of payment processing and guest document gathering smooth and reliable.

Pros

ChargeAutomation is a feature rich platform that makes process payments, authorizing deposits, and handling guest documentation easy. The hard working team of develops is constantly making improvements and readily accepts feedback and suggestions.

Cons

The software struggles with updating when dates of stay change which is a challenge.

### "CA is the future of guest experience"

Fantastic, this is the future for guest experience!

Pros

The integration with RemoteLock software which enables the PIN code door access information to be included in the guest guidebook is fantastic. Obtaining the guests real email address rather than the random booking.com/expedia/airbnb system generated email address is worth its wait in gold. Now you can communicate with these guests outwith the walled garden. Best of all, these features and much more are included for FREE in their Basic plan.

Cons

Dashboard, I would like to be able to move the widget order. I would like to see a widget where it displays the booking and answers to the custom questions, rather than having to open a new window.

We love charge automation and even after we switched & upgraded PMS systems, we still retained charge automation as it's integral to our tech stack.

Pros

We love the payment scheduling, upsell features, deposit, KYC, etc. all from a single URL link. It fits in nicely with our automation strategy.

Difficult to think of a negative, as we love the product.

Pros

I love being able to automate all of the payment t processes for the direct rentals of my vacation rental business. With chargeautomation, bookings run automatically and guests are able to pay 50% up front with the remainder charged 30 days before check in, similar to larger booking platforms. My security deposits are also automatic so I no longer have to manually refund deposits. I also have a number of upsells available to guests. It is also very cost effective. I only pay several dollars each month.

Cons

I wish there was a mobile app although having a link on the Home Screen does work. But I don’t love having to sign in each time.

In general good. But the lack of features might force us to look for alternatives (if they exist).

Pros

Easy to use, smart ideas, reliable, support is fast

Cons

\- No import of booking information via Excel or CSV. - Huge data/privacy breach a few months ago- No additional, custom automatic emails configurable - no message sent to customer before charging and no way to do so- expensive (high monthly rate, high percentage, high per transaction charge (too many different charges)
