Pros

A cost-effective platform to reach and engage clients. Timely responses to inquiries and requests. EMITRR offers a great deal of value for money spent as patient texting reaches many clients and helps to keep them engaged through automated and ongoing patient communication.

Cons

Currently not being able to re-order the properties and customize the layout of Excel data downloads.

Everything has been head and shoulders above our last system. From onboarding, training, support, ease of use, price - changing any application is risky and often painful. This was as seamless a transition and it's been so easy to learn and use.

Pros

The multitude of features and options. Specifically the two-way messaging and the fact that it enables our patient communcation. We are not marketing and our other system had marketing restrictions. That's been a huge difference for our population and use case.

Cons

You can't disable two-way communication for specific users or at all. But we set auto-replies so it's not a huge barrier. Just something we'd like to see in the as a future feature.

### "Love Emitrr.....so far!"

I shopped for months for a communication system for bulk messaging & email that was HIPPA compliant that I can use for patients, clients, friends, acquaintances, etc. Emitrr was the first sytem that I found that was "reasonably priced" for both a small psychotherapy practice and personal use combined.

Pros

The customer service was excellent, they stepped me through setting up their system on my two websites and worked along with my marketing people. I am still learning it but it appears to be such a simple, but elegant, design that I know I am going to love it once I learn it!

Cons

I am hoping they develop some video training on how to use the system more intricately that I can work into my practice and marketing plans.

I’ve been with Emitrr for over a year now, and honestly, I really like both the platform and the team behind it. We rely on the software heavily—it’s become an essential part of our operations. We haven’t experienced too much downtime as it is very important for our business.

Pros

I like the platform and also how easy it is to reach out to the team and work with them about any questions.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't encountered any major issues with Emitrr so far. If I had to mention something, it would just be a wish for even more integrations or advanced customization options—but overall, it's been a smooth and reliable tool for our need

I have been very pleased with Emitrr and highly recommend it. I have used several other texting services and this is by far the best one.

Pros

It's very user-friendly. I also love that you can assign messages to staff members, making it easier to keep track of conversations.

Cons

I wish that when a new message came in, it would default to the top of the conversations. Sometimes we miss a return text because it doesn't bring that conversation to the top of messages.

Amazing customer service and very quick set up time for new accounts. Easy to use system for both staff as well as customers/patients

Pros

The program is very easy to use. And the support is AMAZING. \[sensitive content hidden\] and \[sensitive content hidden\] are super responsive (as is everyone else) and very helpful if you need any assistance. Don't think I have ever had to wait even an hour for an email reply, which was not urgent. This is my second company I am suing them and would not look for any other texting platform

Nothing here to mention, I actually have zero complaints about the program or the customer service

sometimes when you send a message it doesn't go through and completely deletes it and I am having to re-type the whole message again

10/10 - they are very responsive and love hearing ideas of how we will use it and what additional features would be helpful.

Pros

Ease of use and addresses so many needs we had for our office! Love that we can schedule messages in advance which will save a lot of time and it works both on the computer and a phone app. Support staff has been extremely responsive and helpful getting us set up.

Cons

Our experience has been excellent I haven't found anything I don't like.

You have it all integrated into one platform, the signatures, the amount of characters, you can attached files, send photos. You are able to create and send forms. Unlimited amount of things we can use and take advantage of.

Overall very positive. The service works like I need it to, the customer service is amazing, up-time is great, and changes made seem to be well thought out and well, not just changes for change sake.

Pros

Cons

The worst I can say about it is that I have not found a native dark theme. No big deal as I use Dark Reader Chrome add-on and I love how it looks.

We use Emitrr to communicate with our associates. From the beginning of the application/ inquiry process, to following up to make sure they show up on site. Easy as a Text message!

Pros

Emitrr is as easy to use as text messaging.

Cons

I think it's pretty expensive. Considering that text messaging is free from any cell phone carrier, and that I don't really use any other features, $85+ a month is pretty high.

AWESOME. I would recommend to anyone looking for a messaging platform. Especially love having a text friendly retail number that is the SAME as the number we've always had.

Pros

I LOVE Emitrr. The support you get is wonderful, the app is easy to use and they have been incredibly responsive. As a small business, we needed a messaging platform that wouldn't break the bank and this meets all our needs (and then some) without making us feel overwhelmed. We came from Podium (had a terrible experience with them) and feel so valued at Emitrr!

Cons

Having a bit of trouble migrating our reviews over - but Emitrr is ready & willing to help.

### "HANDS DOWN BEST ZIPWHIP REPLACEMENT for small business"

We used Zipwhip until it shut down, and I have to say that after over 30 demos from other companies we finally ended up trying Emitrr. I was mortified to switch from Zipwhip, it was so simple and easy to use. Most of the demos I tried for other companies were either way more complicated than we needed, wickedly overpriced for a small business, did not have a cell phone app extension (crucial for us), or their pricing schemes took a PhD to understand. What is nice about Emitrr is that you can start with just texting if that is your primary need, the other features are on the side panel and out of the way if you don't want to use them initially. The agents I spoke to were intelligent, knew their product, listened to what we needed, and were straightforward. I must have spoken to 30 salespeople of other companies and while many were acceptable, few were exceptional. The transition was fast fast fast and absolutely painless, others told me we would be down anywhere from 48 hours to a week! (most said 48 to 72 hours). We were not down a minute.

Pros

The transition to Emitrr from Zipwhip was so seamless that it was unbelievable, including our custom templates. They do all the prep work for the transition behind the scenes so there was--in our case--zero down time when we switched. I cannot stress this enough. The user interface is very similar. Customer service is exceptional, absolutely exceptional. There are customizable "folders" you can also assign conversations to, there is an "Open" and "Closed" designation so that messages can be moved over once you have replied so that you can easily see which ones are still pending, you can flag a message with an identifier that you can customize such as "New Client" or "Urgent", you can assign conversations if you have users, (or not!), and initially if you JUST WANT TEXTING they will do this for you. There are internal notes you can write within the conversation on the message board that the client never sees to help communication among staff, and it saves all conversations in the cloud so you can see what a person sent you last time, an automatic conversation history! This is a major advantage over Zipwhip. They also have signable forms, payment options, social media integration and you can also attach .pdf's (multiple pages to a text!!! The client gets them as a "scrollable" document on their phone!!!). You can also send long SMS texts if you need to without getting cut off, for us this is invaluable. Also there is a cell phone app if you need after-hours services!

Cons

Emitrr needs to work on a few things. If you print a conversation for a medical record for instance, it is not currently possible to select just the current conversation, it will pull up all of a client's previous interactions with you. There are work arounds if you are good with .pdf's but it is time consuming. Also when these are printed, currently the photos are not included. The button labeled "send" should say "compose or write", this has confused a few employees until you get used to it. Finally, it is quite a bit more expensive than what we had in the budget for texting but at least we are extremely pleased with the service and see how we can use it more fully in the future.

Reason for choosing Emitrr

Emitrr made it easy. While Pet Desk was our close second choice, they did not have a mobile phone app and since we do after hours messaging for emergencies as well as our employees carrying their own phones around our large building...this was crucial for us. We did not love the price or the overwhelming features of Text Request (they need to have a downscaled version), and we did not like their user interface. Podium is NOT priced for a small business. Simple Texting was a good option but their pricing scheme was a bit confusing. Vitus Vet did not have the features we needed and told us we would be down a long time during the transition. Google Texting was a consideration.

Overal - we enjoy using Emitrr. This has given us the freedom to communicate with our customers where all our staff and lead field technician can see and communicate effectively with our consumers.

Pros

We love the integration with our CRM System, HouseCall Pro, and Slack which we use to communicate in-house. As for the texting communication functions of this product, we couldn't ask for more. They are always adding new updates and the improvements are always excellent! They help with the day to day functionality of the product.

Cons

The only true "con" for us is that the VoIP function of the feature is not available and it was not reliable at the time we tried to implement it. We currently use another product but are patiently waiting for this feature within Emtirr to be perfected so that we can keep all our communication within 1 platform. Another small "con" is that it takes the app and desktop just a little longer than preferred to fresh when new messages come in....but I am sure that can be fixed.

Reason for choosing Emitrr

We chose Emitrr not only for its functionality but for the simple fact they partnered with HouseCall Pro and the integration is "golden'!

Overall we have had a great experience so far. We are on this platform continuously for 10 hours each day, so the functionality and efficiency is really important for us to keep our business running smoothly. There was definitely a transitional learing curve, and a few bugs we are waiting to be worked out on the back end, but overall it is great! :)

Pros

Our favorite features are the ability to assign conversations and to close them. This keeps everything so organized with such a large amount of messages coming in all day.

Cons

There are some tweaks that we would like to see, just little bugs worked out here and there, but every time we mention something, it is quickly fixed or we are told that it is in the works of being fixed, so the developers are really on it to make sure that this product meets the needs of its users.
