I've been a Zoho user for close to 15 years and probably a Zoho Sign user for 10. I'd previously tried other document signing docs and wasn't as impressed.

Pros

I'm a Zoho One user, and Zoho Sign fully integrates with every Zoho module, making it easy to send a doc to any contact in my CRM. Many user-defined options, such as how often to send reminders to recipients.

Cons

There is a template that can be used, but it is for a templated contract/document and not a template for the text block I use each time. I send uploaded image files to clients as art proofs I need them to review and approve/decline.

Switched from

[Docusign](https://www.capterra.com/p/121506/Docusign/)

We were already using Zoho modules, so it was a natural switch to Zoho Sign.

My overall experience with Zoho Sign has been positive. It has helped me save time, reduce paperwork, and send professional contracts to clients without needing to meet in person. It is especially useful for a small business already using the Zoho ecosystem. While there are a few areas that could be simplified, it is a reliable and convenient electronic-signature platform.

Pros

Zoho Sign is easy to use and makes sending contracts and agreements for electronic signatures quick and organized. I especially like that it integrates well with other Zoho applications, keeps documents in one place, and allows me to track whether a document has been viewed or signed.

Cons

Some of the document setup and field placement can feel a little tedious, especially when preparing longer contracts. The interface could also be more intuitive in a few areas, and certain advanced features take time to learn.

Overall, my experience with Zoho Sign has been good. It's easy to use, offers great value for money, and lets you customize workflows to fit your needs. It takes a little time to learn at first, but after that, it's simple and works well.

Pros

What I liked most about Zoho Sign was its excellent value for money. It offers plenty of customization options to fit different workflows, and while there is a small learning curve at first, it's manageable and becomes easy to use with regular use.

Cons

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming initially due to the number of customization options. There is a slight learning curve, and some advanced features take time to discover and configure.

Our overall experience has been highly positive. Zoho Sign has significantly cut down our document turnaround times from days to minutes. It handles collaboration well, allowing our team to share templates and track exactly who has viewed or signed a document in real-time. Despite a slight initial learning curve for administrative setup and template customization, it has proven to be a highly reliable, secure, and cost-effective solution for our daily document management needs.

Pros

The value for money is unbeatable, especially compared to more expensive alternatives like DocuSign or Adobe Sign. The core document signing workflow is incredibly smooth. Clients can sign documents in seconds on any device without needing to create an account. I also highly appreciate the robust document management and tracking features; the automatic audit trails and certificate of completion give us total peace of mind for legal compliance. Additionally, it integrates flawlessly with the rest of the Zoho ecosystem and third-party apps like Google Workspace.

Cons

While the learning curve for basic signing is low, setting up advanced customization, complex multi-party workflows, or custom branding templates can be a bit counter-intuitive at first. The user interface, while functional, feels a bit utilitarian and could use a modern visual refresh. Lastly, customer support is generally helpful, but response times on the lower-tier plans can occasionally take a day or two if you run into a technical glitch.

[Adobe Acrobat Reader](https://www.capterra.com/p/170833/Acrobat-Reader-DC/)

We switched primarily due to cost. DocuSign became too expensive as our document volume grew, whereas Zoho Sign offered a much more reasonable pricing structure with similar core features.

ZohoSign is incredibly easy to set up and use. We integrated it seamlessly with our sales tool, SC360, using the provided API key, the process was straightforward from start to finish. Within SC360, we can prepare client quotes and send them directly for signature through ZohoSign. Every action is automatically logged in SC360 in real time, including submissions, views, forwards, and completions. Once a document is fully signed, we receive an email notification and the completed document is automatically stored in SC360. Overall, we're very satisfied with ZohoSign and would highly recommend it.

Pros

ZohoSign is incredibly easy to set up and use. We integrated it seamlessly with our sales tool, SC360, using the provided API key. The process was straightforward from start to finish.

Cons

Based on my experience with this application, I have no negative feedback to share. It has fully met my expectations and delivered exactly what I was looking for within the subscription.

Switched from

ZohoSign offered a more cost-effective solution with equally robust features. The seamless API integration with our existing tools and the straightforward setup made it a clear upgrade over DocuSign.

Alternatives considered

Reasons for choosing Zoho Sign

We are using ZOHO One. Zoho Sign was the last product we implemented. If I had known earlier, how easy the app is to handle and how much we benefit from an improved business process, I would have installed the app first! Much easier to setup and use than other apps.

Pros

We are in the B2C business. We sign 8-12 consumer contracts per day. Our clientele ist 74 on average. ZOHO sign has improved our business process measurably. A) before we mailed contracts by post. Long delays closing the deal, postage costs, not all documents were signed by consumer, if an error in the document, it took long before process was completed. This changed almost instantly with the introduction of Zoho Sign. It is easy to handle in our back office and very easy for our clients. Most contracts are signed on a mobile device by now. Very few explanation / instructions needed for our clientele.

Cons

Too may and too often new features. This means new instructions for our back office team. We only need basic functionality

Pros

What I like most about Zoho Sign is its excellent value for money, responsive customer support, and easy-to-use document signing features. It simplifies document management, streamlines workflows, and makes obtaining electronic signatures quick and efficient.

Cons

There is very little to dislike about Zoho Sign. Occasionally, it takes some time to become familiar with all the available features and settings, especially for new users.

Overall, my experience with Zoho Sign has been very positive. It offers a smooth and intuitive user experience, efficient document signing, and strong value for money, making it a reliable solution for managing and collaborating on agreements.

Pros

What I like most about Zoho Sign is its excellent value for money combined with simple and efficient document signing. It also offers organized document management and smooth collaboration, making it easy to handle agreements end-to-end.

Cons

What I liked least is that Zoho Sign currently lacks integration with Office 365, and some advanced features and customization options are not as extensive as tools like DocuSign.

I switched from DocuSign primarily for better value for money—Zoho Sign offers similar core functionality at a much more competitive price. Additionally, the broader Zoho ecosystem provides opportunities to integrate with other apps in the future, making it a more scalable and cost-effective choice for our business.

Reasons for choosing Zoho Sign

Value for Money and ease of use of ZOHO and the integration between different other ZOHO offerings.

I'd say its very easy to learn and allows me to put exactly what kind of content I want to be in the document. Though sometimes, I struggle with the support resources with it being an open forum kind instead of the traditional email system.

Pros

You don't need an Adobe license, both for you and the person you want to sign, for attaching your e-signature. It also protects the document since the assigned email on the field is the only one who can sign on that. It also allows me who exactly it will route to after being signed so cross departments can easily receive then pass the document once they are done.

Cons

Maybe the lack of editing capabilities that Adobe has? But if you want just the signature of a lets say a client, then I think Sign gives you the bang for a buck.
