Very positive. I would recommend to any AOAO or HOA. The support is very good. When submitting a ticket the response is very quick.

Pros

It is feature rich and easy to setup. The site setup management is very straightforward to use, allowing a site to be created very quickly. The forms is another easy to use and very flexible design making a lot of customization to be done.

Cons

I do not really have a least favorite thing. While nothing is perfect and difficult as each community is different, I think it hits all the points that a community would need. I do wish the ticketing was a bit more robust. Two suggestions: 1) ability to mark the ticket “closed/done” 2) ability to adjust the initial problem description.

Amazing! Our onboarding specialist responded quickly to questions and the ability to implement and then continue to add features allow us to get to our community onto a platform that absolutely reflects our needs.

Pros

has made our transition into community self-management a real 5-star experience. The platform is amazing and they HOA Start people are even better! Their on-boarding process is best of class--along with FAQs, Tutorials, and great onboarding specialists. Absolutely seamless!

Cons

No real cons! The documentation for the features is distributed a bit between tutorials, FAQs and You Tube training...so as long as you are methodical in following the on-boarding steps (designed to keep you progressing in the proper sequence), your implementation will be frictionless.

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. The platform is easy to navigate, well-organized, and tailored to the needs of HOA communities. It’s made it much easier to keep residents informed, share documents, and handle administrative tasks online. The standout feature is definitely their support team—quick responses and helpful solutions every time I’ve submitted a ticket. That level of service gives real peace of mind. There’s still room for improvement, especially in the maintenance request tracking and photo preview features, but even with those limitations, it’s been a major upgrade from what we were using before. Definitely recommend it for any HOA looking to modernize communication and operations.

Pros

The best part about is their support ticket system—it’s fast, reliable, and actually solves problems quickly. It makes managing the website feel stress-free, even if you’re not super tech-savvy.

Cons

The maintenance ticket tracking could use improvement. Right now, the only options are “Approved” or “Rejected,” which isn’t enough for real-time updates or follow-through. It would be much more useful to have additional statuses like “Scheduled,” “In Progress,” or “Completed” so residents and management can track progress more clearly. Also, when residents upload photos with their requests, there's no option to preview the image—you have to download it first, which adds unnecessary steps and slows down workflow. These aren’t dealbreakers, but they definitely stand out in day-to-day use.

### "Beyond Our Expectations On Every Level"

Truly beyond expectations. The final product is highly attractive and professional. The set-up was fast and easy to learn. The functionality is robust and thoughtful. The staff were considerate, patient, and knowledgeable. The price is hard to beat. With HOAStart available, a condominium group would be a bit crazy NOT to have a website to help keep things organized, transparent, and efficient.

Pros

It's very hard to limit this answer to "most" -- there is a LOT to like. When finished, the website looks like a high cost, professionally done, highly customized platform. But, it was easy to learn and the final product is simply amazing. Plus, the team holds your hand every step of the way -- at YOUR pace. Anyone can do this. And, this website has made it possible not just to communicate...but to get our Condo organized for the first time in 30 years. Rather than shoeboxes of old files and information buried in the email boxes of previous officers...we now have a centralized repository for our information, our communication, and our processes.

Cons

I would like to be able to customized the Personal Dashboard a bit more. But, to be honest, I don't really need my owners to use the dashboard -- I want them to be focused on the Main Menu. So, this has not been an issue at all.

I became the chairman of our subdivisions website committee at the beginning of 2024. I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to setting up websites, so the Help Desk people were a great help!

Pros

Very easy to use and prompt responses to any questions you might have. The templates are very easy to customize in order to make our website personalized to our subdivision.

Cons

That it's not FREE - ha ha.... never would expect something this good to be free. I really have nothing else to complain about!

From the beginning, we found the software to be very user-friendly and intuitive. The setup process was straightforward, and we were able to get our website up and running quickly without any technical hurdles. The platform makes it easy to manage documents, communicate with residents, and keep our community informed. Overall, has made our HOA operations more efficient and organized. We’re very pleased with the functionality and support we've received!

Pros

Very easy to set up our site. The tutorials were easy to follow and support staff were great when I hit a snag.

Cons

I would have like to have a weather report on the page that is live rather than having to put in a link.

From the very beginning, our Concierge, \[sensitive content hidden\], has provided excellent service on a daily basis. She is patient, knowledgeable, and creative. She answered my questions in the order I needed them. The quality of the product is beautiful and informative. This is our Association's first ever website in over 50 years of existence. She has been the absolute difference to make it the best quality, using the features we were interested in.

The quality of the service to our Association. White Glove Concierge \[sensitive content hidden\] provided excellent service for our website build on a daily basis. She is amazing.

Cons

Nothing! I would highly recommend it to anyone. They offer 6 templates to choose from and then they are customized to meet your needs.

The customer service is nice. However when you ask them a question they do not readily answer it they refer to a video. Sometimes that is helpful but to be so the video would have to follow the current screen setup and they don't. Sometimes you just need an answer, you don't need to watch a video.

Pros

The website for the homeowners is good. Communication through the website is easy to do. Homeowners can use it to reach the Board or whoever is chosen to receive the communication.

Cons

Their invoicing system is extremely poor. Could not have been designed by anyone with an accounting background. It is counter intuitive in every single regard.

Our condo HOA decided that we wanted a more engaging website to communicate with our community, so we recently migrated to the platform. We're very happy with the result. The HOA Start website platform is flexible, allowing you to create a mix of public (non-member) and private (member-only) content, and includes an amenity reservation system, custom forms, and any number of well-designed web page templates that can be used to create pages for whatever topic your community needs. Our new website has been live for 2 weeks and we've already received compliments from our homeowners about it. What really sets HOA Start apart is the collaborative spirit of their onboarding team. They're very solution-oriented whenever we have any questions or issues. It makes a big difference when you work with a company that's invested in your success.

Pros

1\. Modern feel with well-designed web page templates, allowing you to create as many web pages as you need within your site. 2. Flexibility to create a mi of public (non-member) and private (member-only) content. 3. Lots of functionality including document storage, amenity reservations, custom forms, etc.

Cons

We had no major issues with . There were minor issues with our ability to schedule certain types of recurring meetings, set up amenity reservation schedules, etc. The HOA Start team was able to quickly confirm that these were known issues with fixes on the way, or submit them as new issues for their development team to start investigating.

Excellent! I have little experience with building sites this way, but I can't imagine receiving better service.

Pros

I appreciated the personal attention I received, understanding your end goal, and getting you there. \[sensitive content hidden\] was who I worked with the most. She was always available, and I never felt like a question was dumb or an ask was too small. I could talk to her like a friend, explain what I was going for, and she would make sure I got what I wanted.

Cons

Nothing stood out, but maybe the page layouts were a little confusing. Some edits were in two places, like a page edit vs a widget edit. It's a little touchy making for a sharper learning curve, but once you figure it out it's not as bad.

We upgraded from another service and found to be extremely helpful in our transition. They were very responsive to our questions and needs. We are now upgrading and they created tailored videos for our review to assist us in making a decision.

We evaluated a number of HOA website alternatives and found to be very cost-effective, flexible and comprehensive. They have been easy to work with. I would recommend them to any HOA or condo looking for an easy-to-manage solution.

Pros

Very easy to deal with. Their website is easy to navigate and very flexible. It makes communication with our owners easy. They provide a lot of templates that are useful to the board. They answer our questions promptly. We really like the ability to accept dues through Stripe.

We have been using them for about 20 months and no issues.

As a small HOA, we needed a user-friendly, affordable platform in 2021. has exceeded our expectations by providing a tool that even a non-designer can easily navigate. For instance, setting up our community directory was straightforward and took only about an hour. After evaluating several options, we chose HOA Start and are thrilled with our decision. Two years later, we've seen a remarkable increase in website engagement, with 75% of our homeowners actively using the platform. HOA Start has done a fantastic job developing a product that anticipates our needs, eliminating the need for website design expertise. We didn't require advanced features; we simply needed a functional platform for our members to access information and for outsiders to find contact details. The onboarding process was exceptional, with live support guiding us through every step. The admin platform is intuitive and easy to use and their helpful support team responds promptly to inquiries. HOA Start is continually improving their platform, and while we don't utilize all their advanced features, it's reassuring to have access to them as our HOA grows. It's a valuable asset for our condo community.f

Pros

Easy setup and customization. Did it in an afternoon. Great place to store Association documents - meeting minutes, contact lists, contractor recommendations, invoices, contracts, etc. It's become a valuable asset to our condo association and it's fairly priced for the value we get.

Cons

1\. We need a way to search the Newsfeed (or the entire site). We have tons of info loaded into our posts at the Newsfeed but it's very cumbersome to go back through the posts to find something from the past. 2. Owners should be able to be notified about new newsfeed posts and comments on posts. They should be able to opt out of those notifications but must users of a site like this would want that. Right now, we manually sent out an email everytime we put up a new post.
