### "Excellent product, excellent people"

August 17, 2021

I try to see if it could become my only tool for blogging

Pros

I tried many kind of « blogs », always looking for the most easy way to edit And publish. Up to now I loved so much telegra.ph (still one of my favorites) and used a lot the precious Lumenful, I first gave but a quick try to BRICK. Only this sunday, looking for a way to help a friend build a kind of website/blog within a smartphone, I realized how incredibly precious Brick is. Only limit, you can’t embed pdf: so for that I’ll link to another precious platform I love : Nimbus where embed anything is wonderful (but not (yet?) for many pages/menu). While Brick let’s you build many pages like a real site, with a menu, in such an easy and quick way, it is now a game changer for me ! I can add they respond to any question very quickly and in an excellent way. So : Excellent people, excellent service

Cons

I’d love they add a feature to export (pdf) in order to get a print from the blog, pages or whole websites. But it’s already so precious.

### "Incredible Value as is, but still needs improvement"

August 3, 2021

5.0

Fantastic customer support, highly useful, and awesome way to keep notes and documentation with the ease of instant publishing and sharing.

Pros

Without a doubt one of the best bang for your buck deals in the space. Super lightweight, easy to use, and instant publishing with a unique URL is extremely useful. Is it a polished product? Not quite yet. There are many improvements that can still be made with respect to the UI and formatting functionalities but as far as early-stage goes, Brick has a vision and is on track to very cool things. Looking forward to seeing these guys crush the roadmap (hopefully!) I've been going hard using it for the last few days and I can see it becoming a permanent fixture in my workflow.

Cons

\- Certain features like creating and modifying tables could be improved - Small quirks like having to add a space to the end of a URL to select it - Small latency when copying and pasting in rapid succession

### "Easy to use blogging "

September 2, 2021

4.0

Easy to get into and start writing. That is all I wanted to do and it works extremely well. The fact that you can get your own sub domain with your name or a title works for me well. It is great for short micro blogging - almost twitter like in its simplicity.

Pros

The fact that it was Notion like in it's simplicity and looks was what attracted me. I tried out the free version before I decided to buy it. Extremely easy to start, writing and posting. I have been with Wordpress .com and .org, is currently on SquareSpace and GoDaddy Page Builder. While they have the nice bells and whistles, the steps that I have to go through made me write less (although in the Wordpress days, I can post from an app directly into WP). And these days I don't feel like writing long posts, so this was perfect for that. Easy to get into and just start writing in a very simple interface (although would love to have the / from you know who).

Cons

It is almost austere and some may not like it. I mean you can post images, videos, tables, code, html etc.. but I am missing the categories, blogroll, analytics, comments, votes etc... But then if we have all of it, it may lose it charm and after over a month of almost daily use, I think I can live with that.

### "Great, Simple Layout, Fast, Great Design, Excellent Quality!"

November 3, 2021

5.0

Pros

Great, Simple Layout, Fast, Great Design, Excellent Quality! I'm very impressed I am a confluence and Evernote power user. I have used notion a little bit but none of them compare the speed and value Brick provides. Im very happy with the tool! Publishing content never looked cleaner and easier.

Cons

Im not sure at this point Im a happy user.

### "Fast, slick, and capable"

July 8, 2021

5.0

Pros

It's super easy to use. And the pages are very fast according to PageSpeed Insights analytics I tested on a number of my pages—way faster than Notion and completely blows Webflow out of the water. And the fact that the pages can be built anonymously and distributed separately is a huge plus. This makes disentangling connected notes a breeze, which makes my life as a teacher easier. Brick has successfully carved out an innovative and unique niche in the online documents territory.

Cons

I'd love to be able to highlight in different colors. That's honestly the only thing that's missing. Some might think that it comes up short on the integrations front, but the point of a software like this is not to bog it down with infinite bells and whistles. There are plenty of other apps like that.

Hey! Awesome to hear that you've found a good use for the "disentangled anonymous notes" feature. We don't advertise it too much so I'm happy about it. Font colors, background colors, etc are already available! Only in the premium plan, though.

### "It's a BRICK House!"

August 8, 2021

4.0

Imagine a private Notion that can painlessly create a webpage, blog, etc. with edits that are updated instantly. That is Brick in a nutshell. While I'm an early user, their roadmap is clear, growing and really exciting, and their customer service and responsiveness is top-notch. I expect GREAT things to come from Brick and its amazing team.

Pros

I appreciate its web-centricity. It's designed to post immediately to the web, using either a Brick subdomain or using your custom domain.

Cons

This team has steadily made progress with a robust roadmap, so there are features I'm waiting to try, but so far, so good. It's already great straight out of the box.

### "Tons of features and still great simplicity"

August 7, 2021

5.0

Pros

Getting started with Brick is very easy and intuitive. The custom domain option is wonderful and works like charm (including SSL support)

Cons

It would be great to be able to password protect a page, so that I can share data with others that I don't want to be available publicly (travel schemes, onboarding info, party details, etc.)

### "Simple and genial"

August 2, 2021

5.0

My experience with Brick is excellent!

Pros

Brick is a very simple but genial. Easy to use and powerful. You can create many homepages with a subdomain (\*.brick.do) and your domain (\*.yourdomain). We can also collaborate with a team or coworkers simple as in Google Docs. I love it.

Cons

Now we have not restricted pages. However, the "access control" is in Brick.do´s roadmap.

### "Public notes made easy and beautiful"

August 8, 2021

5.0

Pros

Brick is really easy to use. The editor is very simple, but this is definitely not a disadvantage! There are a lot of content modules that you can add to the pages (or notes): Text, GIF's, videos or code. Through the CNAME feature, I can connect my own domains to the respective document and thus share it with others.

Cons

It would be nice to have even more customization options (even without CSS) and the mobile view is still somewhat adapted.

### "Perfect to quickly make public notes/websites/blogs"

September 3, 2021

5.0

I really like Brick: I was looking for a simple tool to create and publish website in no-time and it is exactly what Brick does. Yes, you will publish simple pages but for blog purposes it's just perfect for instance. I wish Brick will keep improving and never forget its simplicity.

Pros

\- very easy to use - clean UX - works really well - you can inject custom code - access to CSS

Cons

\- Private websites (they are working on it) - more text format

### "Easy to use web publishing tool"

July 20, 2021

5.0

Great tool for quick publishing and sharing any type of document. ALso great for publishing a microsite.

Pros

It has a really easy to use editor. You can add your own CSS to style elements of the web page further. And mostly, I like how quickly you can get something published and online - on to one of their subdomains or on to your own custom domain.

Cons

I think the sharing and collaboration features need to be more robust. It's still early days so I'm sure this will be resolved.
