They simplify complex processes. Pros In this day and age, verifying bank payment details is important. Eftsure is an excellent tool; it does what it advertises it can do, the Eftsure team provides exceptional service and support, and the help documentation is superb. Cons There is very little not to like about Eftsure. If I had to criticise something, I would like to see more detailed activity audits. Review Source JN Joshua N. Very easy to track the progression and the required documents when engaging with new suppliers or when details change. Cons Not with the platform but the additional layer of security does require the process to be completed by the other side and can lead to slight delays depending on the turnaround. They never leave messages, never leave promised reference numbers, never call back even when they promise to call back, and struggle to finish the business they start. I always get very quick and helpful responses from both teams whenever I need help or when I put in a request/query. Really love interacting with both the Teams. Very efficient and friendly services rendered and I'm very pleased with it. Pros The product is easy to use from my perspective - and the verification process is trustworthy and meets our organisation compliances. I like the recent added feature: the Status for pending 'Change Request' onboardings showing as 'Change Request Pending' as opposed to 'Onboarding Pending'. This actually helps me to identify quickly which ones are the new supplier onboardings as opposed to those that are just change request. Cons This is a feedback from our suppliers as I don't have access to the backend of the portal. They find that the portal is not too user-friendly and at times, they are not sure on how to navigate through the whole process of filling in the various sections of the onboarding form. May I suggest providing more "Help" tips in each section to assist those who are not so computer-savvy. Reason for choosing eftsure As above Review Source CW Carol W. With the increase in users of eftsure we are often finding now that new suppliers we are setting up are already certified in eftsure so there is no delay in waiting for the supplier to verify their details. Cons We have had a few suppliers refuse to participate because they dont understand the risks/scams occurring - is often a little time consuming explaining it. Review Source JB Janice B. It help us avoid the risk and fraud of any bank payment error. Pros The most feature that I like with this software is the ability to provided quick onboarding request forms for the suppliers added. We don't need to provide any forms for the new suppliers. It has all the details that we need that can also be a help in updating our accounting system. I also like how the EFTsure do the verification process. I can see how detail the process that make us trust them that all the bank details are correct once verified Cons None so far as we only started using it just few months ago. Group Operating Systems Administrator Insurance Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great Product once customized for our specific use and implemented" June 7, 2022 5.0 Experience was a positive one - the EFTsure staff were helpful and readily available when needed. We did struggle in understand the process EFTsure uses with their offshore staff as the EFTsure model did not ideally suit the suppliers we deal with. We are mainly paying trust money on behalf of clients and there are timing obligations on us to make sure payments are made - this affects our relationship with these suppliers. These suppliers are often large companies where staff within them with the authority to validate a bank account are not the people we deal with on a day to day basis. We had to make a few adjustments to the communication method and contacts but once this was worked through the whole validation process works well. We are happy that the large amounts of money being transferred are not landing in only verified bank accounts. Pros Everyone seems to be able to use this product with little to no problems Cons The manner in which the accounts are verified i this day and age of a lot of scammers - emails with links to verify the account details within the EFTsure data base made many suppliers jumpy. Pros The peace of mind knowing that the bank details have been verified and if there are any incorrect bank details in the system, it is flagged by EFTsure. Cons The parent's name along with the trading name of a supplier should be recognized by EFTsure so as not to get a red flag when doing the banking.That is because most organizations would enter the trading name when creating a new vendor in their database as the trading names are the ones that mostly appear on the tax invoice. Risk mitigation has definitely been achieved giving our business piece of mind with our payment processes. Pros The Bank Overlay helps to identify any changes to vendor bank details & provides the approver with a report for each payment by click the thumb. Cons Implementing EFTSure was not too bad, now we only have to on-board new vendors and 70 percent of them are normally already in the data-base so they automatically get verified with a green thumb. It has added some robust features to our Supplier records. Pros The connectability between our banking data and verification process prior to paying our Suppliers - gives alot of peace of mind. This has streamlined our process dramatically plus having up to date info on a vendor's status is brilliant. Very positive experience Pros We have grown a lot as a company and being able to delegate the phone call verification and onboarding form completion process has been a massive time saver. Cons I wish it required bank accounts to be linked to ABN/ACN. Whether that be bank account name or proving some sort of link between accounts. I also wish it could confirm that the bank account provided is open and correctly linked, as at the moment it is confirming that the details provided in the onboarding match the details confirmed over the phone. November 17, 2022 4.0 The overall experience has been very good and i think the system has been very good in managing the on boarding process of our suppliers. Pros The biggest benefit of this software it gives you peace of mind that the suppliers you are paying are not fraudulent. This is especially true in the current climate as scams are becoming more sophisticated which means we need systems that are sophisticated to prevent the fraud. Cons The amount of work it takes to keep following up with suppliers who don't respond. Also because the emails sent out from the system have the EFTsure domain name a lot of the suppliers didn't respond as they thought it was a fraudulent email. Review Source MT Michael T. Nish and the help desk team are a credit to EFTsure Pros Functionality and ease of use, provides all the information we need to onboard new vendors and can highlight and discrepancies there are with paperwork. Pros Easy to implement and the safeguards it provide to a medium size local government is reassuring. While you may not stop all cyber security breaches to know that the system will alert our staff and to be vigilant when changing circumstances appear provides a level comfort for our business.
