When issuing giftcards to staff in the past, I have either had to queue and have store assistants put through each giftcard one by one, something always goes wrong (whether in the shop, or the staff members activating them). This is a very easy way to acknowledge and reward members of staff, with little effort. I like that you can pass the link round and other people can add their own message and contribution to the card! Pros It was very quick to set up and user friendly - although we had a lot to send out, I didn't use the bulk upload feature but I definitely will in the future! I like how customisable the cards themselves are, and we will implement this in the business for birthdays, milestones etc I also like how the recipient can choose what they do with the money. Cons The amount of email confirmations I received (once the thankbox was created, once it was sent, once it was opened) - I know this isn't a huge issue, and will be helpful in the future when we're having to send less out at one time! Safe for sharing money. Allows us to express appreciation from multiple people in an easy way. Pros It is easy to use and allows me to send cards to people in multiple countries. We often include gift cards which give us a safe way to collect money from multiple countries. We have been going through bad times in the world lately and we need more thanking each other in these times. At the same time, the software is not very expensive, it is suitable for every pocket, so any company or person can buy it easily. Pros Although the company is newly created, it has a lot of recognition in the market. The application has a very simple interface and it is possible to learn in a short time. The application has many great features, which allows it to be one step ahead of its competitors. Many companies, big and small, use this software. Cons I think the lack of technical assistance on the site is a minor problem and I do not think there is enough information about the application on the site. In fact, these are minor disadvantages, on the technical side, I think it is quite very well and I am sure it will progress. There are different card pack sizes. Good selections of cards available. Easy to navigate. Pros Easy to sign up, you can chose the different pack sizes. We have been using Thankbox for over a year, and had purchased another pack. There are a variety of designs to choose from depending on the occasion. The highlight is the group sign feature, also you can add images along with your message. I would highly recommend Thankbox Cons There are many to list, perhaps new cards could be added in the different categories, this would be useful for users that purchase extra packs when their current packs comes to an end. Pros The easy, secure why to set up a card and distribute, specially in a work setting. Also the fact that you can set up a contributing option in the same place is great. Thankbox's process runs smoothly and efficiently each time - it's brilliant! Pros I work for an International company and have team members all over the world... Thankbox makes the whole process of sharing a leaving card really clear and easy, no matter where people are based! The monetary collections I've arranged have also worked perfectly, and have been easily shared to the recipient. I like the fact that recipients can also respond to their Thankbox and send a thank you message, which is a lovely aspect of the process. Cons I don't really have any cons - maybe at a push, it would be nice to have a few more fonts and pictures included in the cheaper fee rather than having to pay extra, but not a big deal as there is still plenty of choice. You are updated every time someone signs the card. You can also set up a scheduled send time which is fantastic! The card part works fairly well but the present part is no good. Pros fairly easy to leave a message in a card when working from home. Easy to email around the office. Easy yo close off and send to recipient Cons Can't see your own message, potentially, when there's been a lot. So if you can't remember whether you signed or not, easy to write in twice. Hopeless for financial collections. No-one donates. No way for manager to cash in money to buy flowers or a personalised gift. Min payment is £5 whereas in the office people usually only put in £1 or £2 tops. Needs to be easier to pay a small amount without having to put in bank details to an unknown website. Has been very embarrassing to pass on £7 or £12.76 or random small amount to recipient. Would be nice if card could be printed out and posted, where home address is known. Pros Its the easiest / only way I can think of to easily circulate and collate messages from my team who are all remote and work across the country. It works well and I love being able to schedule delivery, as it means I don't have to rely on my memory to get the timing right!! Cons It would be good if the basic version was a little cheaper - the equivalent of an actual card. Good choice of designs, and a stroke of genius to allow the addition of GIFs - it's can be tricky to write something original in leaving/thank you cards, so having pictures/videos makes life easier! Having the option to go for standard or premium is also a smart feature. Cons I couldn't see anything obvious lacking - feels like having the option to have associated online partners (providing products like flowers, chocolates, champagne/wine) would be a strong offering to add to the cash pool option? Although the current are fine, it'd be even more fun for a more diverse feature. And if the video can be prolonged (not limited to 1 minute), that'd be great as well. Yes Pros The ability to add videos, gifs and different fonts to make the messages more personal. Cons I work for a government organisation with strict controls on browser. When the link was sent to the recipient I had to help her work out how to view the card in chrome. This was not obvious because the link was hidden behind an image. Maybe a more user friendly link that can be copied would also help resolve this problem.
