You are updated every time someone signs the card. You can also set up a scheduled send time which is fantastic! Cons You pay £5 just for the ecard to be sent which seems a lot since there is nothing the system is really doing and if the collection money goes passed a specific amount it costs more. Once I came across Thankbox, I could see just how nice and easy it looked so I thought I'd give it a shot! As the card that we have created is for someone leaving the business, it's been nice to get notifications through each time it has been signed by someone, it was so easy to just share the card out via a link too! Plus you can include GIF's, we all love one of them don't we! Great work Thankbox!! Cons Nothing - there is not a single thing that I can complain about!! Senior manager Research Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Making it easier to make special occasions for our virtual team" May 14, 2021 5.0 Thankbox is very easy to use, easy to set up and offers a way to collect money for colleagues leaving/birthdays/ baby shower presents. The card gives you a link to forward on to colleagues for them to write their messages, share their photographs or make a contribution to a present. This has made it so much easier mark special occasions for our team. Pros it's easy to use, it runs on work computers, it's easy to share and simple for colleagues to understand what to do. The collection aspect is a big bonus. Cons it's very expensive compared to other similar websites- especially having to pay for "premium" to unlock a pretty background for the card. The range of card choices is poor- other websites have more range. With this range of cards and at this price I will not use this product when my office is not virtual- the cost doesn't offset the convenience but it's OK for now. Pricing structure is unclear- you have to commit quite a bit of time and energy before you get the price shown which did feel a bit scammy. Better transparency around prices, more choice of designs and make it easier to know when the card will send. the schedule button is quite small and this is a different feature to all the other websites that do a similar thing- this makes it less user friendly and easier to not actually send the card! Within a week of our visit, I create a Thankbox Thank You Note to the PR rep and/or restaurant manager. Then, I send it to each member of my staff -- we're at two locations. They add a personal note/sentiment. I pull all of their notes into the master and e-mail to the recipient. So much more efficient than passing around a paper card -- I'd have to mail a physical card to our second location. Then, I'd have to wait for it to be returned to me...and THEN I can drop it in the mail to the recipient (s). With Thankbox, I can have an electronic note created, signed by all appropriate team members, and sent to my intended recipient in ONE DAY! Pros I love how easy it is to create Thank You Notes and have the entire staff -- at two locations -- add a personal note. Larger companies likely use this software to send Birthdays, Retirement, Anniversary congratulations to staff. However, for my very small business? We use this to send an electronic e-mail to every vendor we work with. For travel or dining out features, we send thank you's to PR reps, hotel and restaurant managers, etc. These days, the art of saying thank you is dying out. We choose to keep it going, and Thankbox makes is super simple thanks to a wide range of templates. For not much time on my part, I guild great goodwill with my hospitality contacts! Cons The templates are quite simple and casual -- would LOVE to see options for professional/business notes. The card part works fairly well but the present part is no good. Pros fairly easy to leave a message in a card when working from home. Easy to email around the office. Easy yo close off and send to recipient Cons Can't see your own message, potentially, when there's been a lot. So if you can't remember whether you signed or not, easy to write in twice. Hopeless for financial collections. No-one donates. No way for manager to cash in money to buy flowers or a personalised gift. Min payment is £5 whereas in the office people usually only put in £1 or £2 tops. Needs to be easier to pay a small amount without having to put in bank details to an unknown website. Has been very embarrassing to pass on £7 or £12.76 or random small amount to recipient. Would be nice if card could be printed out and posted, where home address is known. Nobody had to sign in or log in. They just clicked on the link and boom.. you see the card and can write.. Pros The ease of use and the ability to write a note and add a gif. The ability to just send the link to the ecard to multiple people also made it easy to share.. and get a contribution to the ecard. Cons The only thing I didn't like was that once the card is sent out, you can no longer have anyone contribute. Because sometime people are busy and don't get a chance to provide a contribution on time. So I delayed sending out the ecard by a day to give everyone a chance to contribute. Good choice of designs, and a stroke of genius to allow the addition of GIFs - it's can be tricky to write something original in leaving/thank you cards, so having pictures/videos makes life easier! Having the option to go for standard or premium is also a smart feature. Cons I couldn't see anything obvious lacking - feels like having the option to have associated online partners (providing products like flowers, chocolates, champagne/wine) would be a strong offering to add to the cash pool option? Convenient, easy, and yes, recipient will not lose it somewhere. Pros Thank Box is very easy to use. It didn't take long for users to get familiar and have fun playing around the option. We love how our messages are not limited and we can also upload videos. Hope to see more features in the future! Cons I think more font types or backgrounds should be available. Cons Was very glad to have opted for the pro option, a few folks reached out for clarity on how to donate, but over all very user friendly. Opening the gifs to include any gifs google can find would be a benefit. Pros This is simple to setup and share to people. It's taken all the hassle out of passing a card around the office, which obviously at the moment is not possible so is great for now but i do think it's a better way of doing it when we are in the office. Cons The looks could be improved, there's plenty of wallpapers you can use and fonts, but i think they need more. Pros Having a way to send a group thank you in a fully remote world is so useful. The gif support is such a great feature as in many of the places I have been, communication is often by the power of gif. Being able to "say it with gif" is both fun and practical! Cons As a contributor to a card, I would have liked to have more feedback as to when the recipient opened it. The equivalent of seeing a person chuckle at your carefully crafted message in a physical card. Yes Pros The ability to add videos, gifs and different fonts to make the messages more personal. Cons I work for a government organisation with strict controls on browser. When the link was sent to the recipient I had to help her work out how to view the card in chrome. This was not obvious because the link was hidden behind an image. Everyone can add their own personal comment, picture or gif and can contribute if they wish without feeling any pressure. The cards are easy to organise and can be used for any occasion. It takes away the hassle of trying to think of what gift to get and the recipient can then use the collection to spend how they choose. It makes the whose process so much easier. Cons Nothing. February 18, 2022 5.0 Very easy to set up and use, can't fault it at all. Pros Thankkbox was very easy and quick to set up. Colleagues found it very easy to use and liked the instant email confirming their message and payment added to the box, as well as the email telling them when the box was sent to the recipient, including the total amount raised. I, as the administrator of the box, found it very useful to be kept updated about how many people have posted a message and the reminders about how much time there is left before the box is sent to the recipient, so I could time prompts to colleagues. The recipient was extremely happy with all the messages and gift card. Just a fantastic product! Cons Nothing. Everything worked smoothly and it was an extremely easy process for everyone involved.
