I came from working in the the trucking industry for 40 years, and had only worked on my vehicles and grew up watching and helping my dad work on vehicles. I had the basic knowledge, but Auto Leap has taught me so much more.

Pros

Easy to figure out and if you mess up it is easy to fix.

Cons

Reports- I need more time to learn on the reporting side.

Pros

The integrations for estimating saves a ton of time, but the automations for customer reminders, follow ups, estimate approval, e-signatures, and reviews is what I love most.

Cons

Nothing so far, we have only used it for about a month now and are still building processes around the software.

Ease of setup, cost, and training were all pro's in the deciding factor.

So far it has been a great experience. Implementation was easy and Kathleen helped every step of the way.

Pros

Organization, communication with my customer within the software. Having out of shop visibility allows me to do some work remotely. Support is unmatched.

Cons

New to software. No complaints yet. All has been great.

Very happy with both the software and the AutoLeap team that helped me implement. We were up and running using AutoLeap in our shop within 2 weeks and have already seen a dramatic increase in efficiency and profitability.

Customization and ease of use in making our shop more efficient through workflows, invoicing and providing potential customers with competitive and accurate repair/build quotes.

Cons

No complaints at this time. Love AutoLeap.

I feel like the sales team and the engineering team need to work together to truly understand the true limitations of the system. The conversion to AutoLeap was a true challenge and having to reverse migrate after only two weeks is a tough pill to swallow.

Pros

I love that the CRM is integrated into the shop management system with easy access to customer reviews (internal and Google) but the CRM is actually so limited that it prevents you from utilizing your own data for other marketing campaigns such as direct mail. Additionally the CRM is limited to actual customers and does not work with mailing lists.

Cons

The reporting features are limited. Once an invoice is completed there is no way to make changes to it such as correcting a technician or a cost of a part. Additionally, technician efficiency reporting is strange and hard to understand. I have used multiple systems including TekMetric, RO Writer, ShopWare, AllData Manage and others and have never had such a difficult time understanding my KPI metrics.

It's not bad for the price. Overall, if this was my first software experience as a service advisor, I think I would fall short of learning correctly. When comparing the wiring diagrams on AutoLeap compared to ProDemand, there is no question that autoleap has a lot of fine tuning to do.

Pros

Sending estimate and invoices electronically. Approval process is easy. Chat box is easy.

Cons

No wiring diagrams like ProDemand. Incorrect part sourcing Lack of labor guide items Archiving an estimate shows in recent reports as "unpaid" which causes us to never archive any estimates. This created clutter The tiles are so big. Why not just have the vehicles and client names listed. It makes it difficult to find a vehicle unless we memorize the clients name.

Transformative is the word I would use to describe Autoleap. I believe that now I have all the tools to succeed in managing a shop. Now if Autoleap could only make a version of me, I would know I could succeed. What I mean is if I fail now, I only have me to blame. Maybe this observation should have been put in the Cons, Ha! I am sure my Shop will do well as long as I keep on top of the Autoleap program. It really is a life saver for Shop Management

Pros

Starting out any business is difficult, demanding, and intense. Autoleap gives the little guy just starting out a virtual office assistant to manage Customer data, vehicle data, parts ordering, parts purchasing, estimates, scheduling of work, invoicing, payment processing, and internet presence. When the co owner is doing repairs on vehicles he is also using Autoleap to order parts, get estimate approvals over text or email, and schedule service for the days of the week. No more scraps of paper or questions wondering - hey did we order the parts for the suspension job on the Subaru?- Autoleap has all the data saved and easily accessed to organize the entire workflow. Yes, but how does an Ape with a computer learn all of these processes? Surely it must be a steep learning curve. Nopes. The Autoleap Orientation team walked us through every possible function of the software until we knew what we were doing. Fortunately we were using the software as we went thru the orientation, so we organically had questions and were working through discovering more functions as we learned more about the software. The Autoleap team is extremely attentive and answer all questions quickly and courteously. The help bar in the Autoloeap Dashboard actually is useful. The help desk attendants were also always on call and ready to train us Ludites on all functions without giving us a mental breakdown or furling our brows in total frustration.

Cons

The thing with this software is that its new, and constantly evolving. If I did have a complaint it would probably be fixed before you read this. So far we have not had any negatives, and are reaping the benefits of a company that caters to their own needs as they arise in problems.

Better product that fit our needs of integration and tools to manage the shop as well as training.

Pros

Easy communication with customers! The ability to instantly send and receive messages and approvals from my customers makes the process so much simpler!

Cons

The difference between customers with capitalization and non capitalization with names. The system will duplicate customers if capitalization is different.

So far it has been fantastic! Afan, and the entire support staff are the best! They are able to make needed adjustments on the fly to customize for our particular location.

Pros

Ease of ability to communicate with the client.

Cons

With anything new it is difficult to learn during the busy season. Had we implemented this during the winter months we would have had an easier learning curve.

Pros

It's very easy to navigate. For someone who knows nothing about how to put parts on a ticket, since I'm on the AP side, it was super easy. I was able to complete a ticket from start to finish on my own.

Cons

There's nothing that I really disliked. I don't know much about the sales side since I work on the AP side. I was able to figure it out on my own with the training provided.

Pros

I really like the way AR is set up. The ease of being able to look up customers is great. I also like the fact that you can put in a vehicle tag number and it pulls up the vehicle and VIN. The support team with AutoLeap is wonderful. They will help you in any way they can.

Cons

several steps to be taken from start to end on an estimate, not being able to change a customers name on an estimate without starting another
