Pros The system is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I like how it streamlines scheduling and keeps everything organized. It makes staff communication and family engagement much smoother. The automation saves time on billing, attendance, and record-keeping. I appreciate the transparency it gives both parents and staff. Cons Some features take a little time to learn at first. Occasional glitches or slow load times can be frustrating. A few reports could be more customizable for specific needs. Cons As a user who came into the company early, some bugs and glitches needed to be fixed, and they were! My feedback mattered, making the issues not as big of a deal in the end. The overall layout of the website makes it easy to find things and look up information. Cons The paid vs not paid function is not working on the site. It doesn't allow check in/check out of kids even though the week has been paid for. It would be nice to pay monthly instead of every week. The money section of the site credits/debits can be confusing. I find myself running a tax report to confirm what was actually charged to our account. My husband and I also appreciate the daily reports we receive as they give us insight as to how her day went. Overall, I like Child Care Seer much better than what was previously used. Cons The only con is that if the internet is down at the child care facility, the staff has to manually check our children in and out. Pros I am a parent user of the software. I like that I can see what activities my child does as well as pictures. I also like that there is a messaging capability so we can communicate directly with his teacher. Cons It's a little clunky. Sometimes messages go through and sometimes they don't. Autocorrect doesn't work in the app. This isn't a big deal but different than what people have become used to. In order to support many different family situations, each parent does have their own account which allows both individual messaging and payments to the center. As far as fees for using cards, electronic payment processing always involves a cost. We provide a choice to the schools using the software of how they'd like to handle those fees.
