There are also always big improvements and new features released based on the feedback they receive from the business who utilize the software Cons I am still waiting for them to update the “delete this pet” feature to be less insensitive when a pet dies and they need to be removed from a profile. I am also waiting for them to improve their time-off feature to make it more useful and specific. It is worth far more than what I pay for the software in my opinion. Pros I like that clients can request and cancel their own appointments in the app. I used to have clients calling, emailing and texting along with my staff which made it difficult to manage all of our visit dates and times. The scheduling feature is a life saver! Cons Some of the icons are hard to find due to the colors. If the user is unaware of a certain feature, unless they hover over the particular field or are shown the field the user is not aware it is there/available. Employee compensation piece. I have several staff members who all make different amounts due to their different start dates, but cancellations and Holiday pay are a little difficult to manage through the compensation piece in PetPocketbook. Scheduling, invoicing, and communicating with pet parents are all in one place, which saves us so much time. The app is reliable and intuitive, making it easy to send updates, track visits, and keep everything organized. It really streamlines our business and helps us deliver excellent care. Cons The platform is fantastic overall, but it currently lacks a few basic features we’d find very helpful—such as taking deposits and having more flexibility to send invoices on our own terms rather than tied to a specific date. We understand these are areas the team is actively working on, so we’re excited for future updates. It failed to send timely notifications to staff or customers and ended up costing far more in fees—especially for contractors working only once a month—than what we actually paid those contractors. I switched from another software that was closing down so I had a LOT of questions, concerns, and details to discuss. \[sensitive content hidden\] took her time and helped me at every step of the process and was so patient and kind. As I am getting used to everything, any time I have a question they are so quick to answer! Most of the things that are different to me (and what I was worried would be issues) are things I am getting used to quickly, and are much less of a problem than I expected. My staff also LOVES the app, especially their ability to get/send messages to clients (we don't give clients our sitters direct numbers so all previous messages had to go through me which could be tedious). Pros The customer service is phenomenal! They are so helpful and patient during the setup and learning process! Cons Billing ahead can be a bit difficult and the full calendar view with all employees is tough to get used to when compared to what I had before.
