After a few weeks we all got the hang of it and I can’t believe I didn’t switch sooner. This software is so much more affordable than TTP and so much more user friendly. The support team is incredible. I highly recommend using pet pocketbook for your pet sitting business! Pros So much easier for customers to book or cancel one visit or multiple visits. Recurring schedules are so easy for me to manage. The drag and drop feature on the desktop version is great. The price is low and adding extra staff doesn’t cost me anything. The support team answers every question quickly and in a way that’s so easy to understand. Cons I would like on the desktop view to have an option for the pet icons to be smaller. I switched from another software that was closing down so I had a LOT of questions, concerns, and details to discuss. \[sensitive content hidden\] took her time and helped me at every step of the process and was so patient and kind. As I am getting used to everything, any time I have a question they are so quick to answer! Most of the things that are different to me (and what I was worried would be issues) are things I am getting used to quickly, and are much less of a problem than I expected. My staff also LOVES the app, especially their ability to get/send messages to clients (we don't give clients our sitters direct numbers so all previous messages had to go through me which could be tedious). The team walks you through setting up your profile, pet profiles, and the ins and outs of the program, I've never had that kind of support and care before! I love that I can take payment directly from my clients instead of them having to always pay through Pet Pocketbook. The invoice tracking and billing is great too. I also love the report cards and the ability to check in and check out. Cons There is no open app YET, but I know that is on it's way soon. I wish you could collect by credit card before services rather than after because that was what I was used to, but I do understand the process of billing after services. It would also be wonderful to connect Google calendar to Pet Pocketbook. There are many companies offering similar platforms but It would be difficult to find one as intrinsically strong from all angles. Their price structure was different than most other companies which worked well for us. The idea of growing a company assisted by a company who supports the same beliefs was also instrumental.
