Pros

The daily list of what pet sits/dog walks is very nice. I can see individual sitter's scheduled, just mine, or the schedules for all staff.

Cons

I have not figured out an easy way to have it invoice clients before an When I do have a question the team is assignment starts.

I used time to pet for over 5 years so switching to pet pocketbook was a big adjustment for my customers and I. After a few weeks we all got the hang of it and I can’t believe I didn’t switch sooner. This software is so much more affordable than TTP and so much more user friendly. The support team is incredible. I highly recommend using pet pocketbook for your pet sitting business!

Pros

So much easier for customers to book or cancel one visit or multiple visits. Recurring schedules are so easy for me to manage. The drag and drop feature on the desktop version is great. The price is low and adding extra staff doesn’t cost me anything. The support team answers every question quickly and in a way that’s so easy to understand.

Cons

I would like on the desktop view to have an option for the pet icons to be smaller. I would like to be able to block days we’re unavailable.

### "Loving Pet Pocketbook!"

Loving this software. I switched from another software that was closing down so I had a LOT of questions, concerns, and details to discuss. \[sensitive content hidden\] took her time and helped me at every step of the process and was so patient and kind. As I am getting used to everything, any time I have a question they are so quick to answer! Most of the things that are different to me (and what I was worried would be issues) are things I am getting used to quickly, and are much less of a problem than I expected. My staff also LOVES the app, especially their ability to get/send messages to clients (we don't give clients our sitters direct numbers so all previous messages had to go through me which could be tedious).

Pros

The customer service is phenomenal! They are so helpful and patient during the setup and learning process!

Cons

Billing ahead can be a bit difficult and the full calendar view with all employees is tough to get used to when compared to what I had before.

Pros

This was the easiest pet sitting software for my clients and me to use. I got rave reviews from my clients who were switching over from another software. The transition was flawless, and the customer service is amazing!

Cons

I have no complaints about this software whatsoever! Going through the onboarding process made everything so easy to follow, and if I had any questions, they were quickly answered.

PetPocketbook has made it possible for me to feel fully supported while diving in and starting my own small dog walking business this past year! Their scheduling and invoicing features have allowed me to feel professional right from the start. It has been so amazing having all of the tools I need as a pet care provider consolidated into one app rather than having to use different platforms for different functions. I've felt so confident communicating with clients, knowing I'm able to provide them with an app that streamlines our communication and keeps all of their info together. PetPocketbook's team has been WONDERFUL about providing guidance and answers to all of my questions during the learning phase, and I appreciate knowing that any questions I have will be answered by someone who genuinely wants to support my business ownership journey. They've been all-around fantastic and their app is exactly the tool I've need to provide support to my clients and myself!

I've been looking forward to the new app being available in app stores, so clients can transition out of using their web browser for features!

PPB is awesome and a great value to the business both financially and systematically.

Pros

they keep you in the know with what they are working on, efficiently handle any user questions and I love the pet parent profiles.

Cons

web browser and that videos will sometimes take a while to upload/ drain my battery. another thought- for clients that have passed away, I was hoping there would be a voided style situation instead of having to leave the pet on there or delete the past pets overall info. also it might be nice to have a link where clients are able to set up their profiles directly from the website after filling out their inquiry form.

Some aggravations during setup compared to how I was using/billing with Quickbooks but I found a way to work with what they had. Looking forward to all the updates, especially instant pay.

Pros

the monthly cost was cheaper than quickbooks where i switched from.

Cons

No "get money now" feature but i was told it would be possible at some point in the future. I almost didnt switch because of it. Also, the client set up of having to have their emails on file and no way to upload clients in mass form on my own.

There are so many things I like about PetPocketbook! Let's start with Customer Service. Extraordinary! Quick and thorough responses. The application itself is very user friendly and they are developing enhancements all the time. I use it EVERY. DAY! Without this application, my business would not run as smooth.

Overall, its been a very positive experience so far using PPB. It has helped save me so much time and the PPB team is an absolute pleasure to work with!

Pros

Having everything in one place is great! Scheduling in PetPocketbook is locked in. I was using Google calendar before and it's cut my scheduling time down a lot. PetPocketbook probably saves 2-3 hours a week on just scheduling alone. Before PetPocketbook I bounced between TD bank invoice system -- didn't like it. Then I went to Venmo but when tax season came around there were so many roadblocks. With PetPocketbook it's super easy especially with AutoPay and automatic tips too. I love that with the reporting dashboard I can go in and see stats and financials and really just have invoicing be automated.

Cons

I've been using both the web app on my phone and the beta app. I use the beta app throughout the day as I'm doing visits but can't do admin stuff yet like last minute visit requests, so I tend to bounce around. I'm really looking forward to the app soon!

Easy to navigate and digital report cards. The person who showed me how to set up PetPocketbook is still available for me if I have any questions

Cons

Some owners had trouble setting it up. I would have liked to block off certain days for vacation or doctor appointments. I do t like to use two calendars

It has been a pleasure working with them since my initial contact and two years later I'm thrilled with the value it has brought to my life and company.

Pros

PetPocketbook saves me so much time! No more Sundays spent invoicing and doing schedules as their features do this with very little input on my end. Once I do the initial consultation with a client, they are responsible for keeping their profile up-to-date so I never have to worry about all the small details.

Cons

Sometimes the processes are not set-up as I envision in my mind, but thankfully there is an online help feature to ease the learning curve.

I have been using PetPocketbook for a little over a year for my business! It has made my life 1000 times easier with bookings, payments, and every day employee scheduling.

There isn’t anything I don’t like about the app, but I wish we could …. See the view of the pets of the week via a calendar breakdown besides just on their profile + The overnights could be broken down by timing + Booking overnight as one not multiple days + Ability to add pickup and drop off more than once for 1 stay

Wonderful! The demo was thorough, onboarding was easy, and my clients like it.

Pros

I like that it's easy to use and not overburdened by a million different features. It offers exactly as much as I need.

Cons

It's presently missing key features, like a pet parent app or a chat feature to communicate with clients, but that's in the works.

I love the ease of the portal for my clients to use but also myself. They keep it simple which others don’t and makes it for a huge learning curve. I like the scheduling tools and the automated invoicing!

Cons

I think a few more customizations are needed to improve the app, but I think they are working on them and will get the features soon!
