PetPocketbook is easy to use, easy to explain to my clientele, and efficient. The team at PetPocketbook is responsive and willing to help at all times. They are always continuing to grow the platform and make it bigger and better!

Pros

PetPocketbook has continued to make scheduling my daily dog walks and drop ins incredibly easy for myself and my clients.

Cons

In the past, I had issues with the GPS after each update - that has since been fixed and works great. Only big thing right now is that I would love to see that pre-payment option!

My overall experience with PetPocketbook has been an exceptional one. It is worth far more than what I pay for the software in my opinion.

Pros

I like that clients can request and cancel their own appointments in the app. I used to have clients calling, emailing and texting along with my staff which made it difficult to manage all of our visit dates and times. The scheduling feature is a life saver!

Cons

Some of the icons are hard to find due to the colors. If the user is unaware of a certain feature, unless they hover over the particular field or are shown the field the user is not aware it is there/available. Employee compensation piece. I have several staff members who all make different amounts due to their different start dates, but cancellations and Holiday pay are a little difficult to manage through the compensation piece in PetPocketbook.

I love Pet pocketbook I love how every time I check there’s always something they’re adding to it. It’s very straightforward and user-friendly for myself my husband and any staff younger or older!

Pros

Pet pocketbook I’ve been using for over two years and it’s very straightforward and easy one that’s used the app with me has never had a problem

Cons

There could be a few glitches at times, but the team is always ready to fix them I love when I emailed them and they answer right away. There’s a big team I’ve even had someone call me before because I wasn’t understanding something. They’re very good.

It's been a wonderful experience right from my first point of contact and ongoing - the people at PetPocketBook are super - the training was very thorough and in one weekend I was able to have us up and running and using the program on Monday after having my training on Thursday or Friday

Pros

So many things! I love the fact that now the owners can book and cancel their dog walks - I feel it takes away a lot of the concern of putting in a wrong date for a client. A huge one for me is the invoicing - it was a nightmare in the past and I fell behind - with PetPocketBook it does it all for me - what a huge weight off my shoulders. I also love that I can read all the notes and see the photos that my dogwalkers leave for our clients. And I love that our clients are really enjoying getting the updates and photos as well - very good feedback from them! It does exactly what I needed it to do and I couldn't be happier!

Cons

It's really hard to think of something - honestly right now I can't think of anything. The only thing that I could suggest is a way to put in the dog walkers time off - but it was pretty simple to find a work around.

I actually love it. I wish the approved services were easier to see as an owner and that it was integrated with Pay Pal.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use when you have multiple staff sitters. I like that each staff sitter can have limitations or no limitations in the system. I like that the client can send messages that both the pet sitter and I can see.

Cons

I do not like that it is not tied in with Pay Pal. I do not like that when a pet sitter approves services that it is not sent to me in an email or an easier way to see that it has been handled. When it is pending there are gold squares on the calendar. But once approved by a pet sitter, I have to look at all the ones that I approved and it takes a lot to see other approvals. I also don't like that when you want 3 visits daily all the am visits have to be requested, then mid day, then pm as separate transactions. This makes it more difficult for clients to request services themselves.

PetPocketBook has saved me so many gray hairs. I was manually creating a calendar, taking in client requests, and invoicing/keeping track of outstanding payments. This managing software has been a one stop shop, easy to learn and navigate, clients let me know that it is easy to schedule and pay online. Before I found PetPocketbook through a NAPPS conference link, I was researching other platforms. The costs were not feasible for a startup business like mine and the interface of their programming was not as appealing to the eye nor compatible for the work that I do. I am grateful for this software and feel the price they charge is fair and resonable. The staff at PetPocketbook has been very helpful in answering all of my questions and attedning to my needs promptly. I would highly recommend this management software, thank you PetPocketbook!

Pros

Ease of scheduling, client messaging, streamlining communication, invoicing, centralizing requests on calendar, reports/stats, managing employee calendars and pay.

Cons

Platform is still improving services and features, some features needed for your business may not be available.

Would recommend! While there are some short comings, they are small in comparison to the benefits that PetPocketbook brings to my business.

Pros

PetPocketbook is so easy to use. It has just the right amount of detail without being too overwhelming. The regular updates have added lots of imporvements! It's also extremely cost effective.

Cons

There's no official app, although the beta app has been going well. It would be nice if clients could create an account without needing the business to prompt a invitation link.

Absolutely love using Petpocketbook for now over a year! It has enabled me to run my business in a much more efficient way. I love that the team behind it is very supportive and constantly evolves the tool with new features and improvements every year. PetPocketBook is a fantastic tool that keeps me organize whether it's for billing, keeping the team agenda well organized or accessing financial reports essential to develop my company further. I run my business mainly from abroad, and I would have never been able to maintain it without Petpocketbook!

Pros

That it has all the features i could need for my business: invoicing, schedule, client portfolio, client communication, staff pay reports. It's so complete and makes my life so much easier since I joined.

Cons

It's not a con but it's the fact it isn't available for clients as an app yet. So sometimes clients forget how to login, etc...

Overall very happy with the website! Processes are streamlined and clear, the website and business app in beta are aesthetic and well laid out. The staff, developers and HR are so responsive to any questions or issues!

Pros

Admin and developers are very responsive to feedback, available for problem-solving, and clear helpful communicators. I love that I can bill any time now. I like the format of the invoices and receipts and that clients can pay directly through the website. I love the update to see payouts in the reports section, very helpful for accounting. The price for subscription is very reasonable.

Cons

I wish that clients could request overnight visits while they are set as "all day" appointments. The processing fee for clients is on the more expensive side, though I understand why. I am excited for the client app to be available!

It has been a pleasure working with them since my initial contact and two years later I'm thrilled with the value it has brought to my life and company.

Pros

PetPocketbook saves me so much time! No more Sundays spent invoicing and doing schedules as their features do this with very little input on my end. Once I do the initial consultation with a client, they are responsible for keeping their profile up-to-date so I never have to worry about all the small details.

Cons

Sometimes the processes are not set-up as I envision in my mind, but thankfully there is an online help feature to ease the learning curve.

Overall, PPB staff have been insanely kind, friendly, and helpful! Any of my questions are answered super quickly and with a personal touch that really makes you feel like a valued member!

Pros

I love how quickly and easily I can add new appointments and send messages to all my clients! Also, I no longer need to calculate amounts due to invoice clients, I don’t even have to bill my clients myself! It is such a huge relief on my already busy schedule that I don’t have to worry about client billing AT ALL anymore! Literally Pet Pocketbook handles all of my invoicing and payment acceptance for me - I feel like I have so much more time to live my life now!

Cons

Pro and Con, but the money direct deposits into my account at multiple different times on different dates, depending on when my clients pay their bills. It takes a little work on my part to reconcile what is being showed as paid in the app and what ends up in my account.

Overall, it's been a great experience. The onboarding team is amazing and truly wants to work with you to maximize the customer experience. Billing is a very simple process for me now. Scheduling is getting easier and I'm looking forward to analyzing the reporting data after a few months in. So far, SO good!

Pros

Love the mapping feature as my business is logistics based. I'm able to see where all of our client pickups are and optimize my routes right in the system. Planning our weekly hiker schedule is a lot easier using this platform.

Cons

Still working out some of the kinks with client communications, apps, etc. but they are getting there. Very responsive to customer input.

In particular, \[sensitive content hidden\] has been one of the best experiences I've had when dealing with customer care folks. I am AuDHD, and when I spoke with \[sensitive content hidden\] about this, she made sure to take the extra time I needed and checked in with me often to make sure I understood everything. Using Pet Pocketbook has made managing my business much more efficient and a much smoother experience for my clients. So happy I've decided to stick with y'all.

Since transitioning from QuickBooks to PetPocketbook 4.5 years ago, it has saved our business an incredible amount of time. Things are running more efficiently and our staff can easily access pet information anytime they need it. It also has made our business more mobile and has greatly streamlined our billing process.

Pros

My favorite thing about PetPocketbook is how much time it saves me. It's as if it was tailor made for our business.

Cons

I wish that we could easily order our schedules in a master repeating/ ongoing basis/ print the schedules for a full week on one page as a listed view. (We have a meeting scheduled for this Friday to get to the bottom of the issues we are having with the master repeating schedule order.)

I am so relieved to have the overwhelming details of client billing automated and handled in a professional and friendly way. It saves me so much time and mental energy, and I don’t procrastinate or make the mistakes I used to make during the tedious process of creating invoices. I can’t believe I lived without it for so long.

Pros

Amazing customer support, friendly and understanding people, and the automated billing features take the stress out of invoicing clients. \[sensitive content hidden\] is the best, and it was so helpful to have her feedback on how other businesses typically handle a problem I faced.

Cons

I am a visual person, and I found myself wishing for a zoomed out calendar view of the schedule showing which days scheduled services fall on. I was also hoping for an app with push notifications for client messages. Luckily both features are in the works and I’m looking forward to seeing them soon.

My first month has been great so far. I'm looking forward to continuing using this product with my clients, at this great price too!

Pros

How easy and intuitive it is. The team walks you through setting up your profile, pet profiles, and the ins and outs of the program, I've never had that kind of support and care before! I love that I can take payment directly from my clients instead of them having to always pay through Pet Pocketbook. The invoice tracking and billing is great too. I also love the report cards and the ability to check in and check out.

Cons

There is no open app YET, but I know that is on it's way soon. I wish you could collect by credit card before services rather than after because that was what I was used to, but I do understand the process of billing after services. It would also be wonderful to connect Google calendar to Pet Pocketbook.

Overall I am very happy with the program and the updates being made to the functions of the program.

Pros

Petpocketbook is a very easy to use and view system for dog walkers and clients. I enjoy the pet profile features and the system tools that are constantly being updated.

Cons

The current system does seem to struggle in areas when we do not have good wifi services. This has cause problems starting and stoping reports. The app does have a few bugs that need to be worked out.
