Pros I love that Pet Pocketbook is very user friendly and didn’t take long for me to figure out with the help of the staff! My clients can use it easily as well which is very helpful! It helps me keep everything important all in one spot and I don’t have to go searching for things! The staff are also very helpful and the on-boarding process was very smooth and they talked me through everything important on the program which was a big help! Cons Being in Canada and using an American product is a bit difficult because of the price conversion so it’s a bit expensive but I feel the benefits outweigh the cost! They are always coming up with new features and ways to make the software even better. Reason for choosing PetPocketbook Pricing 100%. Other softwares charge an insane amount if you have multiple walkers. For an organization like mine where I have a lot of casual or PT staff it seemed crazy to have to pay per user instead of a flat rate like PPB. Walked me through every single feature of the product and how to use it, which was incredibly helpful. So far no significant glitches and has been 100% reliable while I’m on the job Pros Ease of use, tracks all financial, scheduling, billing etc without me having to lift a finger, cuts the amount of time I have to work on my business in half. Cons I have not had much of any complaints about the software. Cons The only desire I have is to have PetPocketbook in the app store. That way clients are able to find it in the easiest way possible. The only other struggle I had was figuring out pricing and how to set it up for specific people/ services, etc. But after a while and chatting with the team I would say this has been resolved. Reason for choosing PetPocketbook PetPocketbook had come recommended by a client who had used he platform when she lived elsewhere. This platform was also the cheaper of the two. And when taking care of pets, it can be a little hectic sometimes. So to have this as my baseline is reassuring and extremely helpful. It's extremely cost-effective and I love that my clients can set up autopay with a card. Cons I really can't think of anything major. The ease of use is great. It's mobile friendly. I guess there are very very small UI/UX design inconsistencies on different pages of the settings. It is by no means an inconvenience as finding it is usually still extremely easy. The schedule can be easily updated at any time, any important information you may need about the appointment is available within one click, and it displays your compensation in real-time. I think this software definitely has great potential to be beneficial to so many pet care businesses! Pros I love that you can easily view your schedule along with any important information under each individual appointment. It helps me feel more organized and within a routine that I can plan around. I also like that you can view your compensation as you complete appointments, which feels motivating, in a way! Cons I feel like PPB could improve by displaying which client has tipped you. I have received several tips over the weeks, but cannot view who they came from. It would be great to be able to thank the client that felt my service was exceptional!
