The ability to "Clean Up" the feed and eliminate the glitches in the stream when the bandwidth or upload is limited are great. Cons The cost is a major factor when looking at Resi. It is not a cheap answer. Resi is limited on the packages it offers. Review Source JS John S. Their customer support is easily the best I've ever experienced, and I couldn't recommend their products/service more! Pros We started live streaming our worship gatherings during 2020 and have landed on Resi as the best and most reliable streaming service. Before using Resi, we used a OBS, then Castr, both of which streamed directly to the internet with no delay (RTMP). With these services, any interruption to the internet will lead to glitches and buffering in the stream. The resilient streaming protocol (RSP) in Resi uploads two minutes of audio and video to the cloud before routing it to our live stream destination, which creates a healthier and glitch-free streaming experience. (NOTE: If your internet completely cuts out like happened to us a few weeks back, not even Resi can fix that!) Another huge selling point for us was that we switched to ProPresenter, which can function as a software encoder for Resi. In our setup, the visuals for our worship gathering AND our live stream are all integrated into one program. To make it even better, through the Resi control panel, we can easily set up a live stream schedule. Before Resi, we had to manually populate all of the details in Facebook and YouTube and manually start and stop each live stream. For us, this was not only tedious, but required an additional computer and an additional team member. Now that we have Resi integrated in ProPresenter and set up on a schedule, virtually everything is automated and we no longer need a dedicated volunteer to oversee the live stream. As a smaller church, this is huge for us. Cons The beauty of using ProPresenter as a software encoder is that everything is integrated into one program. The downside of that is that Resi is dependent upon the stability of the ProPresenter platform. Thankfully, we've never had ProPresenter glitch or quit unexpectedly during a worship gathering, but it did happen once during rehearsal. This is not necessarily a negative about Resi, just the acknowledgement of a risk to using ProPresenter as a software encoder. " March 18, 2026 5.0 Resi has been a behind-the-scenes partner in my ministry since COVID, and has been a faithful friend to help our church send our message around the world. It's not flashy, but it works and it is reliable. I can't ask for more than that! Pros When it comes to managing a church livestream, dependability, consistency, and customer service are paramount for our hardware and software. Resi is the industry leader in these areas in my opinion. It is easy to set up and use, and rock solid in functionality. Our quality and performance with Resi far exceed the constraints of our network infrastructure. Cons Interface experience could be improved to help with onboarding new staff to the platform. This through the initial crush of covid streaming and the first Christmas under covid, they were rock solid, always available and supportive. Audio and video quality is superior. In all circumstances. Pros Hardware software solution, easy to deploy and maintain. Training and Support easily the best in the business bar none. Cons the process of scheduling and sim live is not exactly intuitive coming from other streaming services experiences, however multiple experiences in scheduling and executing and it becomes second nature to execute in. Reason for choosing Resi StreamingChurch.TV is the next tier in professional supported solutions, the online monitoring and stream management tools are superior to all of our prior vendors excepting Resi, their support and one on one problem solving and training were excellent as well, it came down to the robustness of the networks involved and the utilization of sim live production and scheduling. Resi's scheduling and functionality with two campuses and stream production was just that much better for our purposes. This has not happened since we implemented RESI. Pros The set and forget feature is super valuable for us. Cons Initial setup was a little challenge for us, but customer service was awesome. Cons I would prefer if Resi allowed the user more control over the stream delay. We have an interactive portion of the service that would be much better if we could stream in real-time.
