Spreaker Reviews
Pros
What I like the most is that the platform is easy to use.
I am happy with the product and the reliability and ease of use. I like how I can embed episodes in a variety of ways in my blog pages and posts.
Cons
The audio editing and mixing is more basic than some other podcasting tools. I found also that the skype could be flakey with cutting out.
On an entry plan, you really get limited data and statistics.
"Exactly what I need"
Pros: What I like the most is that the platform is easy to use. very intuitive. Spreaker provides me with a website for my podcast and access to statistics in a free plan. I have also used a paid plan and I love that I can monetize my podcast with advertising in just a few clicks. Also spreaker allows me to connect my account with youtube and publish my episodes in my youtube channel without any problems
Cons: I don't have anything I don't like. I really like this product
"A good all-rounder (missing some specific perks to stand out)"
Overall: Good enough to still use it, 4 years in, but not for my most active show. It's reliable, sturdy, and never down! But it doesn't have that couple of killer features in a quite crowded podcast hosting environment - neither has a clever pricing structure that would incentivize you in co-locating several shows on the same host.
Pros: It delivers on the promise. You're looking for a podcast host, and it is a very good one. Your files will be safe and easily distributed to wherever matters. Integration to the rest of the ecosystem is pretty convenient and the user interface gets very usable once you get the logic.
Cons: On an entry plan, you really get limited data and statistics. Sure, you need to have a reason to upgrade, but the system could be a bit more generous to give a higher incentive for doing so.
"Stay Away Terrible Experience"
Pros: Do not use these people. They make it incredibly hard to cancel and then they auto bill and THEN they refuse to refund an annual mamebership 3 days after billing. There is ZERO customer support, only a chat where they say "sorry no refunds". Run run run from these folks $500 down the drain.
"Great podcasting options for those with a small to medium budget"
Overall: It's a great software for podcasting and will suit most people. It's easy to use and takes some of the complication out of podcasting with everything being wrapped up in a Spreaker itself (recording, editng, publishing etc).
Pros: Spreaker is easy to use and great for those wanting everything they need in one place eg, recording, editing, publishing, analytics, and monetization options. For start-ups free plan lets you get started and once you get going you can move up to the next plan which gives you a whole lot more for little cost.
Cons: The audio editing and mixing is more basic than some other podcasting tools. I found also that the skype could be flakey with cutting out.
"Best podcast"
Pros: I started using Spreaker in 2014 to make a cycling podcast. It is the best platform for creating podcasts. You can also share them on other platforms, you can download the audio track, work offline and broadcast live. It's like having a radio studio on your pc. The connection with Skype for phone calls is also perfect.
Cons: I really like the fact that there is also a mobile or tablet application even though I have never used it
