Owner Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Bad customer service" September 7, 2025 1.0 When working correctly it can be a nice program, however the second that something deviates from the norm you are lost and will not be helped by Autodesk in anyform. This is absolutely unacceptable given how expensive it is. Pros When working correctly it can be a powerfull asset. How you can work with several people in the same file is great. Cons The customer service was absolutely subpar. It was such an bad experience I feel betrayed by them. When it is working correctly it is a nice program, however. When you have a question you get coupled to people with little to now knowledge about the program. It looks like the work is outsourced to a random place that has no knowledge about the program or any desire to know about the program. When they are not able to answer with a Yes/No answers they want to refer back to you via Email, while during the chat it is already clear that they DO NOT have the information they need & are in the same time not able to communicate where the information they are looking for can be found. To top it all of you will get an (lousy) email, but it refers you to a completely different(?) cloud solution off Autodesk. That what I told the customer service happened. I am deeply dissapointed and if this will not be resolved quickly will find alternative cloud solutions. This is not worth €130,- per month per person!!!! However Trimble customer service has been way better when contacting them for different products. Pros Easy to use and navigate. I like the subcontractor database, but it could help with the calling of each individual subcontractor. The email tends to get ignored. Cons No assistance reaching out to subcontractors. Like I said before they do not always care to look at the email sent out. Plus the cost seams to just keep getting more and more expensive for the platform in total. The only drawback I experienced was occasional poor customer service, which made resolving issues slower than expected. It is easy to submit documents and create invoices. Pros Autodesk has great customer support, is very easy to use and is great for organizational management for commercial jobs and tracking. Lets you see who has the ball in their court and what is needed. Cons AI features are lacking in ability. It would be nice to enhance these further and expand to other sections of ACC. The amount of features is incredible and the interface is extremely user-friendly. Each job is broken down to where I can easily grasp the size and scope of each job to see if it's one we can take on. I love it! Pros I absolutely love the bidding feature that Autodesk gives us. It's easy to keep track of each bid, which ones we've won, and it's also nice to be able to keep track of when files are updated. Cons It is pretty easy to accidently edit field in several of the area on the bidding platform. I've had it happen a few times to me and I've had to go back in and try to remember what I accidently changed. Pros Since starting my path into construction, Autodesk has remained a constant in helping me develop and grow my skills and business to new heights. Autodesk Construction Cloud has allowed me to apply my knowledge of other Autodesk products into a platform which can provide and amalgamate all of our project details to streamline processes and promote efficient communication. The versatility with this platform allows me to play with any of it's thousands of features to decide which is best for our team and what we could even incorporate moving forward to enhance the information management in our organization. Cons Like many robust Autodesk software, there is a learning curve to the software but it is not as much of a burden as other softwares may be. The cloud is a must need in my mind. Pros I use it in par with Revit. It's use is invaluable in Revits execution in my office. I often work with other offices and the cloud service is very easy to use and it can be used with many devices. Pros What I like most about this software is that when I load my projects plans I can identify issues room for room, at the exact wall elevation, and take photos to identify and document every issue. Pros The ability to of real time access for our companies BIM drawings. It is allow very helpful for our field crews to receive the latest info if there was an update on the drawings. Cons The takeoff/estimating tools within AutoDesk Construction Cloud are not as robust as the other solutions that we reviewed. Cons Some of the features need work. Model coordination works well for an overview, but its lacking for extensive coordination. Docs specifications needs the ability for markup. It offers better co-ordination tools for designers, and makes full use of rendering tools to be able to fly through models to identify clashes. Pros The Autodesk construction cloud follows on from the successes of Autodesk BIM360. It is a simple to use cloud based system for hosting and sharing Revit models. Cons Some of the features of ACC are a bit mystifying for someone new to the software. A simpler interface could solve this as well as better integration between the desktop and online viewers.
