### "FP contractor"

January 4, 2019

5.0

I was part of a BIM coordination team and coordination would have been impossible without BIM 360.

Pros

I was able to use it without any training or prior experience.

Cons

Logging in was a little tedious, anyway to speed this up would be beneficial.

### "Great Product"

January 31, 2017

4.0

BIM 360 is a great product, but would gain a lot if it was faster. If we forget the fact that it is slower, it Worth the money!

Pros

It saves a lot of paper and make sure everyone is working out of the most recent drawings.

Cons

The software is too slow.

### "Hospital BIM Field : Check List and Punch List Usage"

February 2, 2017

4.0

I just got hired on and this is my first experience with a punch list checklist. I really enjoy BIM Filed, it is easy to manage, its organized, and easy to lean for a lot of the newer (and older) workers. My biggest complaint about it however is, its extremely slow. When my punch walk begins to be slowed down because it takes 5 seconds to load every menu it begins to add up. I understand this may be a fault of too many plans or sheets in our project, but that is to be expected in complicated and more complex jobsites.

### "Good idea, poorly executed."

January 31, 2017

3.0

I've been using the software for over a year and I still find it to be clunky and cumbersome. The ideas they include are great, and I fully endorse what they're trying to achieve, but more thought needs to be put into usability and making the software more visually appealing.

Pros

I like the ambition and vision of the software.

Cons

Difficult to use, not consistent across platforms (iPads, laptops, phones), not aesthetically pleasing, slow, often crashes, tedious to navigate.

### "Very user friendly!"

October 14, 2015

5.0

Pros

The software is a very useful tool both in the office and onsite. The PlanGrid staff is very helpful and responsive

Cons

There is nothing I don't like. The sheets view screen could be a larger to utilize the real estate of the screen, but that's about it.

### "Very handy on the go. Quick access to all documentation."

August 8, 2017

4.0

Pros

Create daily log. Quick access to the drawings. Ability to make notes on the drawings and send captures.

Cons

The updates to the uploaded files and document have a long delay. My office closes at 5PM and many times updates come in the middle of the night.

### "I am glad this tool has been added to my options."

April 5, 2017

4.0

The program is a little slow, probably because it is sifting through so much information. The ease of only carrying an iPad, is such an improvement to carrying a small roll of documents.

Pros

it takes care of all the tasks I need to perform.

Cons

a little slow.

### "Top of the line software for BIM"

January 23, 2019

4.0

I am trying to model a school building for my study project to see if we can improve the passive energy efficiency.

Pros

Easy to use and familiar interface. If you have used any other Autodesk software, it is easy to understand and learn. Great support and tutorials online.

Cons

A little expensive for license. Also, updates for support of newer file versions in old versions should be provided.

### "My BIM 360 review"

February 10, 2017

3.0

I think the system is have to work. The forms are hard to work with and hard to fill out. The section of yes,no and N/A is poorly thought out. When you check the no it makes a issue. There are times where the answer is just no.

Pros

Drawings

Cons

Reports and check lists

### "Bim 360 Great Product"

January 31, 2017

5.0

It is basically a simpler navis works with similar functionality. It is most helpful in performing clash detection

Pros

Like the ability to see different material types and clashes with other trades

Cons

I find it difficult to make accurate measurements such as depths and elevations for underground conduits using this software. My measurements typically vary greatly and I cannot figure out how to make these measurements consistent.

February 10, 2017

The BIM 360 is a great tool for electrical contractors. It allows ease of design and shows any clashes between trades. I would highly recommend it to any sub contractor. It enables less office to field errors or mistakes that could be costly or schedule impacting.

### "BIM 360 BMS Upgrade Project Review"

February 10, 2017

3.0

In general, once you understand how to use the software features, it is a worthwhile tool that allows multiple people to give their input into a project. It also provides a good tool to track progress on resolution of the issues.

Pros

Mult-user platform and tracking tool capabilities.

Cons

There is a learning curve on using the software platform, so highly recommend the poweruser on the project give an overview training program before using the platform.

### "General BIM user."

April 10, 2017

3.0

BIM is used quite largely by our company. We have the system intergrated into our quality Control program. Each of our QC coordinators add information and issues into the system on a daily basis. At times it can be a bit cumbersome in adding new issues or editing those that have been documented already. some of the editing seems to be limited. We track project issues in various areas based on the type of work being performed. Overall, it is a good system, when all parties buy into the necessity of its use.

### "BIM360 on Large Value Projects"

January 31, 2017

5.0

Through my experience sing BIM on large projects, there is a value add in implementing BIM from the beginning. Although it can feel onerous at the beginning once it takes off it can be easily maintained. Training to staff and trades/consultants is imperative to ensuring a smooth ease of use. Finally ensuring that your trades and consultants are able to adapt to the system also aids in the use of one streamlined reporting system. Currently uses the issues, daily updates, reports and equipment on our project.

### "BIm 360 Review"

January 31, 2017

4.0

BIM 360 is one of the most user-friendly software for tracking construction open items and punch lists. One of my favorite features are the pin location and attaching a photo. It is easy to sort and publish automatic reports. The only real issue I see is the cost for a large construction site to use. My company is always trying to find ways to be more lean with cost and BIM360 is one of those ways we are able to trim the fat. However, on my projects, I try to get the team to utilize this great system.

### "BIM 360 Glue"

April 18, 2017

I utilized Glue for the first time on a large scale project and was pleasantly surprised with ease of use and similarities to Navisworks. It was nice to have a cloud based model/platform where every trade could upload and download each other's latest files.

### "BIM 360 Glue"

April 17, 2017

We work as Mechanical Contractors in Lower Mainland, BC. And use BIM 360 Glue for coordination with site personnel. It definitely optimized our workflow, however, it's a little hard for site personnel to absorb all of features being provided. They still prefer email us instead of creating markup in the model. As a designer, we'd prefer to have more parameters available in the model. Like Elevation, Services. One thing we want the most is the color shading for fabrication parts in Revit 2017.

### "BIM 360 Field"

February 1, 2017

The field reporting function has too many steps required to make a simple comment. You should make it where everything is in one location. the pin, comment, and pictures.

Pros

It can be accessed off-line

Cons

Too bulky for making comments. Does not automatically sync when app is opened

### "Best document controler and organizer"

June 21, 2018

5.0

This is very good for Construction Management firm and the amount of time saving on operators would compensate the cost for sure

Pros

Stronge ability to compare documents Saves huge amount of time on creating the list of drawings along with the whole details As soon as you upload the new version of documents you wourld realise what is new and what is missing Very quick website Very handy windows and mobile app

Cons

Limitted number of sheets- of course if you are dealing with multiple active projects you will need to pay for extra sheets or remove old revisions on the server

### "Easy to use for project collaboration"

January 31, 2017

3.0

The construction management company for a project I'm working on is using BIM 360 for a large project. My interaction with the software was primarily to upload files for Navisworks clash detection and to download Revit and Navisworks files. Overall the process was streamlined. I did have issues with the "drag and drop" functionality when trying to upload files. This may have been an issue with my browser (Firefox). Uploading via the standard browsing for file location worked fine though.

### "BIM 360 Docs Changed My Business!"

April 20, 2016

5.0

As a small real estate development firm in the southeast, I always am struggling to keep my project teams up to date with the latest plan revisions. For years, I found myself running back and forth from the office, to the printer, to the site, and over and over. BIM 360 Docs allows me to simply upload latest plans online, and access them via my iPad/iPhone on site. My team can mark them up, send them back, and vice versa. Surprised this product is free. Hope it doesn't change anytime soon!!

I started to work with BIM360 last year, I'm working for an Australian project from Italy. I didn't receive any training to use the BIM360 but It was very easy to understood. I used "Defect" page only and It was easy to learn how to manage it.
