I have been with many hosts over many years and I can not rely on the level of service received from them. Pros The price is good and their support team are very friendly but it is easy to tell the response is mostly Ai generated and not very helpful. Cons Site went down for 12 hours yesterday due to suspected abuse / phishing but after the painful reactivation they can not provide any information on why this occurred. This was on several domains some that are used as storage to host images and other marketing material like mailers. This resulted in a whole department not being able to work for more than a full business day with no explanation of what caused it. It is hassle free for a new user for a deployment that can be done in just few minutes with their User friendly UI. I believe they are improving the user experience and also the support that can help a lot of developers. Pros I deployed my Postgres server (node with supabase) in less than 5 mins! I really like how hostinger simplified the UI from GitHub to Env variable imports, did a mistake on my 1st deployment but with the help of auto redeployment features it reduce the manual redeployment as you push or update your codes from github. Overall it is a user friendly deployment and also I believe this will work with any Node-PostgreSQL database related projects! Advertised prices are good if they stick to them. Cons False advertising in checkout process and email invoice. Showed 1 year of domain registration during transfer process as discounted from usual price of USD$18 to USD$1. But didn't renew the domain, and charged USD$1 for nothing. Emailed invoice shows domainname.tld 1 year $0.00 and USD$1 for one year of transfer (as if that's a product anywhere on the internet without renewal; it's not). Support refuse to address the 1 year domainname.tld product on the invoice. Further, the transfer process was buggy and needed two support agents to manually transfer it in themselves. Cons I tried Hostinger a year ago, but I didn't find it user friendly, and the customer service was terrible, so I promptly cancelled. Now a year later, they emailed me that they'd be be billing me automatically for auto renewal. I replied, explaining that I have no subscription with them. They replied and said sorry for the error, we see you have no subscription, and anyway, we don't have your credit card info anymore, so don't worry. Then they billed my credit card anyway! Half a dozen emails later, it's still not sorted out. The emails seem to be written by a stupid AI, and it's impossible to talk to a human being. Garbage. They listened well and addressed my needs without running around the inquiry as if to kill time until the answer was found. If the person didn't know, they would tell me they need to look into it and would return shortly which I really appreciated. They do offer DIY VPS hosting which I believe keeps the price to a reasonable amount. Pros I really liked the tech support I received when I asked for a real person to answer my inquiry. They also don't use the opportunity to upsell you features you may not need and I really appreciate this. I didn't feel like I was being coerced into spending more money. Cons I didn't like that they too have moved to chat bots to solve any support questions, but I suppose it's how things are done now with a lot of companies. I am not too keen on their interface either. I don't think the design is intuitive for finding things quickly. Hostinger just recently added an application builder and more AI tools are available if you are into that kind of stuff. I am super happy with my Hostinger experience. I've been their customer for over a year now and look forward to many more years with them handling my websites and more. Pros Pricing is close to the top of this long list. For the price Hostinger charges, I would have thought the service would have been equal to the low price, but it's just the opposite. The service is outstanding and if there is an issue, the live chat is quick and mostly helpful. This leads me to the Cons, but it isn't as bad as I make it out to be. Cons As fr the Cons, I have only one and that is the live chat is so good I thought for two days I was talking to a human - they/it even complimented me. I'm still laughing at myself for that one. Once I realized I wasn't getting accurate help, I asked if I was talking to a bot or a human, and that is when I was passed to a human who, within 5 minutes, had my issue fixed. So, whether it is a bot or a human, when you have issues, the fix is not far off. Their chat bot latterly never response and their agents as well. Pros Cheap in the market and easy to host. Nothing much. Cons The most unreliable support system. The experience was mostly good, the websites were quick to set up, but I ended up limited with some of the options of the builder. Pros Hostinger is a good host offering a huge variety of services, being able to be the only hosting provider a business needs. Its comprehensive dashboard offers a lot of help with setting up each service. Its website builder is easy to use. Cons The dashboard can be unnecessarily complicated for some operations, requiring some trial and error sometimes to get it to do what is needed. The website builder can sometimes be tricky to use when doing anything advanced, and it generates pages which cannot be copied or modified easily with another tool. Wouldn't replace it for a thing. They care about me so I care back. They've given me great offers so far and I've created some very fast websites with them, so can't complain, Pros Everybody gets Hostinger because of how fast their loading times are. I love love love how easy it is to get your way around the dashboard. I love that buttons are easy to access and that you can get started with web hosting even as a beginner who knows little to nothing about code or about web hosting. The buttons are a beautiful purple and are very aesthetically pleasing. The dashboard just makes you want to stay for long. It is super easy to sign in because they use a one-click Google account sign-in which is very easy to understand. Their chat and support make everything easy to access and easy to understand. They very quickly solve client problems which makes them very loveable. Cons You, unfortunately, cannot pay for a service before it expires. You must wait till it expires. This sometimes limits my planning. For people who code, there are not enough tutorials on how to upload your HTML, CSS, and Javascript website using File Manager.
