CEO Retail Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Do Not Use Hostinger To Build Your Website" April 19, 2023 2.0 One of the emails sent to Hostinger regarding their poorly built website: Customers expect Hostinger to set up their checkout taxes in the same way as most businesses set up their taxes along with the total (Shopify, Wix, Tailorbrands). When the customer gets to the checkout point, no taxes are added to their purchase. Instead, it states the taxes are included in the product price- which they are not.Customers also expect more online payment platforms to be integrated into the website builder in case the one provided is not a good option for their business to use as a payment processor. Hostinger only offers Stripe. Stripe does not allow certain products to be sold through its platform.None of the information regarding Hostinger taxes, single payment processors, or the nonexistent unpublish feature was disclosed during the workshop or site tutorial. It was impossible for me to examine the Hostinger site without first paying to access the site builder. The information I now know would have led me to decide that Hostinger would not be the best option for me if I had known it beforehand.My site cannot be used without a properly configured checkout, which is a big inconvenience for customers. Pros Hostinger has been easy to work with when it comes to designing the website. Cons When it comes to managing the website once it is published, it has been a terrible experience. I have another hosting company that I like a lot. But I put Hostinger in my priority list, because of the overall quality it has helped me a lot. And support has been extremely important, so I highly recommend the services of this company. Pros I highly recommend Hostinger's services for several reasons. But recently I purchased a Hostinger domain for an e-commerce site to test some products. And I paid a super cheap and affordable price. I even received some name recommendations to improve search SEO. Besides, I needed to configure some files in the root of the domain, and I contacted support. The attendant was extremely helpful and professional, and in my view, fully qualified to be there. I just quickly explained what I needed and she didn't set everything up and insert the files into the domain. That's great, I highly recommend Hostinger's services. Integration with various website creators also makes Hostinger much easier to use. Cons In the months I've been using Hostinger, I haven't had any negative events, either with my sites or with service. So, I have no cons to inform. Good value for money services. Pros The services provides by Hostinger are quite economical. Good plans available for shared hosting as well as cloud hosting. The control panel offered is user friendly, which makes it easier for website deployment. Performance of the websites with reasonable traffic was satisfactory. Cons The thing which is missing in Hostinger is cPanel, which is the most widely used control panel software. And regular users might feel it difficult to adopt to the custom hosting panel offered by Hostinger. The templates are nice and several to choose from, the features are great and easy to use, the prices are really affordable for a beginner compared to other website builders. Pros I like the prices. Honestly for someone who is starting small, the monthly subscriptions are pocket-friendly considering the fact that not much is limited. Many website builders tend to limit vital features for the success of your website if one selects the cheapest or cheaper options. Zyro is easy to use and it doesn't limit your control of your website. I also like how the process of domain connection is not a tedious task when it comes to Zyro. I've tried connecting my domain to other website builders but it becomes a nightmare because it's either you select an expensive monthly subscription first or you go through a long and unnecessary process. Cons Some of the technical errors that occur. For instance, there was a time i opened my website for editing just to find that all the products i had posted disappeared. Mind you, i posted close to 100 products of my clients. I was then informed that i will have to post the products afresh and anytime i make changes, I'll have to publish my website. All the time and effort i put to making changes on my website was for nothing. I do not see the reason why there has to be an autosave then. I relied on the system to save my work but it let me down. There was a short time frame for us to launch, and everything was quite tense. After setting up all the various aspects of the business, we only had the website setup left. It was an overwhelming feeling of uncertainty when we realised that it could take ages to complete the website since that was the case the first time since I was getting used to the software as Im quite un-tech savvy. We polished and finished the Website in less than an hour, being able to use their easy drag and drop system and AI heat-maps to optimise our website's attractiveness. Pros After using Zyro for a while, and hosting websites on it, I found that it majorly combatted the other services iv used. Sometimes i wish i can go into a time machine and travel into the future just to experience the new updates they would release as time comes, since iv seen some exiting new AI features that was recently added. The most prominent unique aspect of Zyro which iv seen, is the customer service which always goes Up and Over with their delivery and assistance. Unlike any other service iv ever seen before. Another majorly unique aspect which has been a privilege to receive, was the custom requirements we had which the customer service team had helped us launch on our website, which boosted our business's overall ease of use, and streamlined a major part of the payment gateway aspect of our venture. Cons I have initially found some struggles with the load time of the websites, but it seems as if it has its good days and bad days, which seems to be common amongst any server. The site functions great and I was able to link my domain without issue. The price is the best part as it is saving me a lot of money. It also saves me time as I could code the site and just pay for hosting, but that would take a lot longer. Pros I really like the site builder I was able to get my site back up and running with Zyro quickly and link my domain. The price was a selling point to me as I was paying over $500 a month with a competitor. Cons One thing that I do not like is that the site menu has to be at the top of the page also I can't find a way to change the background color of the dropdowns for the menu so my submenus can't be seen until you hover over them. I've been able to consolidate all of my sites in one place for one low price and I recommend it to all of my web development clients. The features, packages and price are much better than my previous provider. Pros I switched from being a GoDaddy customer for 15 years and I have been super surprised at the hosting options and services I've received. The features and cost are a bargain! I have transferred 3 Wordpress websites under my hosting package (each with an affordable SSL cert which are EXTREMELY expensive with other providers) and I have had no problems with downtime. It's extremely easy to choose, setup and manage your website hosting/email accounts, etc. I would absolutely recommend! Cons I haven't found anything yet that's a problem with my hosting software. And Zyro is concentrating on adding new features constantly. Pros The feature I use most are drag and drop options and blog carousel. Further, easy integration of google analytics and adsense, embedded code. Cons Zyro lacks lots of features comparing to wordpress like plugins store to easily integrate lots of functionalities to the users websites.
