We used this platform for a solid year with Survey Monkey to reward our research participants with virtual Visa and Amazon Gift Cards. Great customer support and reliable to integrate with many platforms.

Pros

appyReward covered the bases of everything we need. User interface is intuitive and very easy to use, is what we like best about appyReward. Although there are older competitors, appyReward is nonetheless one of the best options on the market of its kind, as it has specific elements that meet the vast majority of our needs. We went around the competition and none were up to the task. Our customers are delighted!

Cons

None as of yet. We were buying campaigns, but we soon realized that it was better to start with a plan.

Initial difficulty with set up and lack of support response. This seems to have been worked out as they have matured their processes. I requested a refund and they honored my request.

Pros

Rewards integrated with email campaign to simplify rewarding participants in survey.

Cons

Some difficulty with user interface; expiring campaigns.

Regarding unused gifts, we obviously reimburse unused funds minus a convenience fee as indicated on our site. When I started looking for vendors for this gift card project, I realized that most of what's out there is very standardized and hardly customizable. Sales reps were calling me to give me their spiel and when I explained our objective and asked if they could meet our needs, they'd have no clear answer. Appy was both customizable and willing to do whatever it took to work with us. Between the way the platform is built and the great customer service, we were able to accomplish exactly what we had hoped for.

Pros

The integration with Mailchimp was easy and the amount of support we received from their team was comparable to none. It was my first time leading a similar project and the Appy team walked me through the process step by step and answered any and all questions I had.

Cons

Overall I really liked the software. I think if I had to pick a flaw, testing can be tricky because there's no real 'test feature' so you either have to tackle into your credit balance to test or contact the Appy team. However, I contacted the Appy team and they were able to help me with this. No complaints.
