auto billing is very handy the auto posting is a nice feature and the late charged automatically done is wonderful

Cons

trying to correct a mistake with a credit card can be a night mare you have to call to correct an error

Pros

The ease of use, user friendly and self explainatory. Not a huge learning curve.

Cons

Sometimes it applies late fee's when you don't want it too, but you can waive them.

Pros

The support team was incredibly helpful for the switch over! We love the ability to text customer and that emails are saved right in each account. The ability to upload documents to the account is very handy.

Cons

Some parts of the software are set up logically but not from the stand point of a property manager. For a multi location company the reporting is very time consuming as you have to switch from location to location then go through the entire process of pulling each report. For all business summaries there is no way of totaling all locations.

The majority of my experiences with this software have been really good.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use, I also really like the fact that they record and store any phone calls that were made. It's nice to have a history of that to go back to when needed.

Cons

I don't like that you can't enter a date when entering a payment. Sometimes we receive payments on time, but they do not get entered until another day due to certain circumstances. I would like the option to enter the correct date that the payment was actually received and not necessarily when it was entered.

The ease of conversion from one self storage software to another has been seamless.

Pros

I can access both our facilities with the same log-in. The software is user friendly. The fees are very reasonable.

Cons

It doesn't have some of the reports that our previous self storage software had. I wish it would have had compatibility with the credit/debit card processing software.

I used to work for Extra Space Storage and as of now you are the closest I have seen that is similar to them. I would suggest and I know it is coming soon. The mailing feature and an auction area. There is to much clicking to find out when a person is in auction or even to add them.

Pros

Ease of use and sleek design

Cons

TO much clicking to get one thing done. No centralized area for auctions. no ability to generate letters for tenants. When doing a name change on a unit you need to fill out a new paper lease since there is none automatically generateed. There is more if you want you can call me.

VERY easy and simplified interface. the software flows and makes it easy to figure out how to do something even if you're brand new to the program.

Cons

It needs a few more functions to make it perfect. for example, if you could link a work email to the storEDGE program instaed our microsoft outlook, Also a way to attach paperwork or notifications to group or mass emails from the storEDGE software, additionally, if it automatically auto filled out names and dates and prices to personalize t letter for each customer.

This software is convenient for both our business and our tenants.

Pros

StorEDGE makes our life a lot easier since units can be rented and payments can be made online, and this is also a nice convenience for our tenants. We are also very happy with the support staff. Everyone at StorEDGE is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Cons

In the beginning of using the software, it was a little confusing, however, that's true whenever you learn something new. The support staff was wonderful and helped whenever I had any questions.

When I made the decision to change the software at my storage facility I took a good hard look at several of the software providers that specialize in self storage. What differentiated StorEdge from the others for me was their customer service and cutting edge web based technology. The software is set up so that StorEdge can make upgrades and changes to the software as the industry changes, and you do not have to download or purchase updates. I have both, the StorEdge software and their website platform. My customers love that they can go online and view their account and make payments at their convenience. As an owner I like this option as it helps with collections, especially after normal business hours. It is also nice that I can see an up to the minute overview of my facility anywhere that I have an internet connection. I am 100% satisfied with my decision.

I really like that I can easily print my monthly reports, they all come from the same place. I used to have to print all separately and it took a bit of time.

Pros

We own a few Storage Facilities and when we built our newest one we tried StorEdge for the new facility. I really like how everything is stored- including old customers in units once they’ve moved out.

Cons

Even though it’s a web based software I have had some issues with it locking up and having to restart my computer. That takes up some valuable time.

We opened our new storage project on Oct. 21. Before we have owned office, retail and a small amount of storage space. We use Quickbooks. I have also been in the billboard business but sold my inventory two years ago. I have been a small business owner for over 20 years. My son recommended StorEdge and so far it has been a good decision. We are also operating our gate (DoorKing) with StorEdge, but that is only starting later this week.

Pros

Professional and easy to work.

Cons

So far if someone wants to rent multiple units it would be easier to do them all at the same time.

Tremendous cost and time savings related to everything from managing the customer experience to the operating metrics.

Pros

Great integrated capabilities: Price management, pay on line, mail house and excellent document management. It is extremely simple to manage the day to day operations and the reports are excellent.

Cons

The on-line help could be better. There is a ton of on-line documentation but it doesn't always address all the issues. However the telephone phone support is excellent.

Does not have as many programming issues as the past software that we used

Pros

Like the tab options; it makes it easy to find and run reports such as inventory, etc. Also like when you are taking payments that it makes sure that you entered the correct amount; it will not let you proceed if the amounts do not match.

Cons

No parent account. Have to look up customer's name on every facility if you do not know where their unit is at since we manage 10 facilities off of one software system.

I am using your software at least 40 hours a week. I like your software, it's easy to use, but it is very black and white. I know what it is I need to do, but do don't have the ability to do so. I have to go in setting and change things around to get my payments apply the correct way. If the invoice is wrong I have to email your company to get it fixed. That make's no sense, when I'm capable of doing the correction myself. Then I have to wait a day for the corrections, which put my work on hold. Your software is based on what people should do, but they don't. Going in and our of screens when a customer is waiting it a pain for them. For the most I think your software is excellent, except for the minor things that I can't do. It would be really great if it had an accounting side like quickbooks, that I could print deposit slips.

Have problems with system freezing because of to may people on line. Other than that theer are not problem. I did have a problem when I reserved a new tent it placed it on another account even though I enter it as a new customer

Over all store edge has not been to bad, there are a few things that could be better and easier to do.

Pros

It is easier to keep up with customers that are on our wait list as well as moving people in.

Cons

Important Notes do not show as easily as the did with our old system. Even if you hit important note you still have to search in order to find it. I think it should be easier to add units when they first move in if they need more than one unit.

Pros

Everything is included in the software the only interfacing was the gates. It works well with PTI and Storlogix. We saw an increase in income and ease of use within the first month of using StorEdge. And the conversion was easy with their great customer service.

Cons

Recorded phone calls cannot be deleted. Customers are giving their credit card info over the phone, I fear that can be hacked.
