July 12, 2023 5.0 In every way I've interacted with the company, I've had my expectations surpassed. They assign a customer success manager to your account who checks in on you to make sure you're set up and don't have issues. They hired a lady with a doctorate (trained in process management) to help with the training and she's phenomenal and her training videos are best in class and her info is well thought out. The JobTread team believes in hard work and it shows. Like Cal Newport's book, "Be So Good They Can't Ignore You" it's just a matter of time until the market can't ignore JobTread. Incredible experience. Pros Having a simple, well-thought-out program that helps us improve profitability!I thought I had a good solution before JobTread, but I always wondered if something more tailored to construction companies existed.It's simplifying our business because it is helping us stay organized in general, track job costs IN REAL TIME, manage jobs, assign tasks to team members, schedule with gantt charts, and reduce email inbox since it comes with a customer portal (and a vendor portal). That means you can have unlimited customers in your database. Having one place to manage everything for the business is truly a dream. Cons Very hard to come up with anything negative, but the only improvement I see that might be made is that we have hundreds of customers in our kanban view and it takes a few extra seconds to search for specific customers. This isn't a huge deal since it shows up, but the rest of the app is so snappy, it seems that they'll need some technical change to address that UX loading fix. Usability is so important in Project Management because no matter how good your system is, if it's not usable, it won't help you. I was convinced that I wanted to try JobTread after seeing that Software Advice had them ranked as the number one for both customer satisfaction and usability. I have never been taken care of so well by a software company. They give their customers a white glove experience. Pros The value for money is incredible. It saves me hours on budgeting, estimating, and job costing. Very intuitive and the customer support is next level. They give you an account manager that helps you with anything you need. They are making improvements and adding features so the time. Love it. Cons Their CRM is pretty basic. But you can augment it with Zapier. They are getting more into automations now and I would love to see some AI features in the future. It is very useful for communicating and tracking documents and workflow on clients and employees. In budget, it’s also very easy to use for estimating wherein you can also connect it to the vendors or bid requests. Pros I really like how JobTread streamlines the estimating process. It’s easy to create, update, and track cost items, and the ability to send bid requests and receive quotes directly through the platform saves a lot of time. Cons What I liked least about JobTread is the accuracy of estimating directly from the uploaded plans. Sometimes the takeoff tools or plan measurements don’t align perfectly, which can affect estimate precision. " October 16, 2025 5.0 My company since starting with Jobtread being able to estimate and build proposals and track our jobs has helped me to grow our company over 1600% in the last three years. Pros Jobtread’s ease of use for me was a game changer, In estimating and sales. We began using the job tracking feature about two years later after we started and it also has been a game changer to know where our company is. Cons It’s really difficult to find a Con in a product that has provided so much. If I had to mention one, it would be the selection item would be the most difficult to use. However, following the tracking of the software and people putting work into it, this is a piece of the puzzle they are putting together. When they canceled my training sessions I needed to invoice for over $90,000 in work and it left me hanging and in a bind. I was able to Jump onto Jobtread on a Sunday morning and by Sunday evening I estimated $70,000 in work and build out for 60,000. Something that I was not able to do in months of training with builder trend. It has only gotten better since joining the platform aswell. Pros There customer support is above all else. They are there when needed to walk you through the issue everytime. The value they give with the expansive increase to their software very frequently is another killer selling point. Cons The only con would be when we originally started with jobtread there was a lot of helpful articles, however there is always more questions you come up with that weren’t explained super great at that point. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. Highly recommend Pros The estimating functionality with catalog and parameters is industry-leading. JobTread has the best Gantt chart we've ever used for scheduling. The software has really help us streamline what was manual processes before using excel. Beyond the software, the JobTread Connect conference was extremely valuable. As builders, contractors and remodelers from all over the USA come together and have an opportunity to share best practices and network in a non-competitive environment. Pros Their Customer Support! They have been so helpful at every phase of setting up the software. The company is based in Dallas, TX and have an amazing team culture. They encourage taking care of their customers. They do not outsource anything...so you get a live person during business hours if you have a question. Cons They only interface with Quickbooks and there was no work around for other accounting software's. We have been using Foundation Software due to their Job Costing abilities. Job Tread does such a good job with job costing that we decide it was time for a change. We transitioned over to Quickbooks and love it so far. April 19, 2024 5.0 We have tried almost every construction software program out there and finally hit the sweet spot with JobTread. It handles everything that we needed it to do. From custom product catalogs, groups of products, invoicing while allowing for progress billing, sales tax in multiple jurisdictions, to work load management and a completely visible schedule while juggling 100+ project simultaneously. Add on a continuously improving platform and regularly creating new features. It ended our 10 year search for software and is growing with our company. Pros Ease of use and constant improvement of features. Cons Sales tax had a few bumps but nothing that couldn't be solved. Project Management Professional Training & Coaching Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great Customer Support!" June 12, 2024 5.0 Very Positive experience. Their website contains training videos that are easy to sort through and learn from. They also make live training sessions available so you can ask questions directly while taking the training. The product is mostly intuitive and easy to use with a little training. I really enjoyed working with this platform as part of my job. They implement suggestions. I have experienced how an improvement was made to the product that enabled me to edit another employee’s Daily Log for the Customer field. This improvement was made within a couple weeks of suggesting it (to my delight) and it saved me an enormous amount of time. Pros Support is excellent! Our Customer Support Representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] returned a response within a day of an email, and it would usually have the answer to a question I was looking for. I could schedule a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with her, sometimes within two days and usually within the week, and she was very pleasant to work with. Cons Product is available in English and does not translate automatically into Spanish. Many staff members speak Spanish as a primary language, so it is difficult for them to use. The integration with QuickBooks Online is fantastic, and my bookkeeper loves it too. The software is really easy to learn and use. If you have any questions, they assign a support specialist who you can reach out to. They respond super quickly and even send a video showing you exactly what to do. I highly recommend JobTread for anyone in the home building industry. Pros Streamlined project management Seamless integration with QuickBooks Online Dedicated support with personalized assistance Easy-to-learn interface Mobile access for on-the-go management Cons The one con I've found with JobTread is that it doesn't automatically calculate the contingency from the total project cost. We have been with JobTread since September 2023, and in those short 8 months we have seen so much development from their team that benefits us as customers. I feel like they KNOW us and we KNOW them, which is RARE for a software company. If I have a question, I can text \[sensitive content hidden\], my customer success manager, or hop on the Facebook group and receive immediate support from fellow users or the \[sensitive content hidden\] himself! (\[sensitive content hidden\] are always helping too!) JobTread is a solution that everyone loves -- our clients, our team and our trade partners. People who I never would expect to utilize the system, are using it! Because it is simple for them. As you can see, I cannot say enough great things about JobTread. If you are thinking about making the switch, just do it! Pros JobTread is an amazing company! We own a small general contracting business. We needed a software to help us organize our communication between clients, trades and employees. We also needed a software to help us better manage our schedule and communicate updates efficiently (without being super complicated). Finally we needed a software that could help us better track actual job costs to increase profitability and become better at estimating future projects. JobTread is our solution! Cons Document numbering is a little funky with integration with Quickbooks. This is NOT a big deal and literally the only thing I can come up with for a con.
