July 12, 2023 5.0 In every way I've interacted with the company, I've had my expectations surpassed. They assign a customer success manager to your account who checks in on you to make sure you're set up and don't have issues. They hired a lady with a doctorate (trained in process management) to help with the training and she's phenomenal and her training videos are best in class and her info is well thought out. The JobTread team believes in hard work and it shows. Like Cal Newport's book, "Be So Good They Can't Ignore You" it's just a matter of time until the market can't ignore JobTread. Incredible experience. Pros Having a simple, well-thought-out program that helps us improve profitability!I thought I had a good solution before JobTread, but I always wondered if something more tailored to construction companies existed.It's simplifying our business because it is helping us stay organized in general, track job costs IN REAL TIME, manage jobs, assign tasks to team members, schedule with gantt charts, and reduce email inbox since it comes with a customer portal (and a vendor portal). That means you can have unlimited customers in your database. Having one place to manage everything for the business is truly a dream. Cons Very hard to come up with anything negative, but the only improvement I see that might be made is that we have hundreds of customers in our kanban view and it takes a few extra seconds to search for specific customers. This isn't a huge deal since it shows up, but the rest of the app is so snappy, it seems that they'll need some technical change to address that UX loading fix. Usability is so important in Project Management because no matter how good your system is, if it's not usable, it won't help you. I was convinced that I wanted to try JobTread after seeing that Software Advice had them ranked as the number one for both customer satisfaction and usability. Pros Jobtread has helped us immensely with our estimating processes. Managing projects and leads with salesman has been really simple after customizing jobtread to fit our company needs. Im very pleased with jobtreads customer service they go above and beyond! They al very competively priced and offer way more than its competitors. Cons There honestly isnt much to dislike. They are constantly improving when needs arise, they have a feature request system that helps show them what we would like added. It is very useful for communicating and tracking documents and workflow on clients and employees. In budget, it’s also very easy to use for estimating wherein you can also connect it to the vendors or bid requests. Pros I really like how JobTread streamlines the estimating process. It’s easy to create, update, and track cost items, and the ability to send bid requests and receive quotes directly through the platform saves a lot of time. Cons What I liked least about JobTread is the accuracy of estimating directly from the uploaded plans. Sometimes the takeoff tools or plan measurements don’t align perfectly, which can affect estimate precision. They give their customers a white glove experience. Pros The value for money is incredible. It saves me hours on budgeting, estimating, and job costing. Very intuitive and the customer support is next level. They give you an account manager that helps you with anything you need. They are making improvements and adding features so the time. Love it. Cons Their CRM is pretty basic. But you can augment it with Zapier. They are getting more into automations now and I would love to see some AI features in the future. Pros Jobtread’s ease of use for me was a game changer, In estimating and sales. We began using the job tracking feature about two years later after we started and it also has been a game changer to know where our company is. Cons It’s really difficult to find a Con in a product that has provided so much. If I had to mention one, it would be the selection item would be the most difficult to use. However, following the tracking of the software and people putting work into it, this is a piece of the puzzle they are putting together. When they canceled my training sessions I needed to invoice for over $90,000 in work and it left me hanging and in a bind. I was able to Jump onto Jobtread on a Sunday morning and by Sunday evening I estimated $70,000 in work and build out for 60,000. Something that I was not able to do in months of training with builder trend. It has only gotten better since joining the platform aswell. Pros There customer support is above all else. They are there when needed to walk you through the issue everytime. The value they give with the expansive increase to their software very frequently is another killer selling point. Cons The only con would be when we originally started with jobtread there was a lot of helpful articles, however there is always more questions you come up with that weren’t explained super great at that point. We trust the leaders and their intentions to meet our needs, and are trying to be patient as new features are added and rolled out. Pros Our team likes the comprehensive data tracking and metrics that are MUCH more thorough than any other software that we've used before (and we've used a few). We are also very impressed with the team and their support and training, especially their ability to adapt and willingness to listen and role out new features. Cons It is really difficult to adapt to our business model- the "client-facing" parts of the program are underdeveloped and not user friendly yet. We need better methods for selections and spec development, and more organized communication. From custom product catalogs, groups of products, invoicing while allowing for progress billing, sales tax in multiple jurisdictions, to work load management and a completely visible schedule while juggling 100+ project simultaneously. Add on a continuously improving platform and regularly creating new features. It ended our 10 year search for software and is growing with our company. September 18, 2024 5.0 We've implemented and evaluated many construction management software programs. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. Highly recommend Pros The estimating functionality with catalog and parameters is industry-leading. JobTread has the best Gantt chart we've ever used for scheduling. And the documents are fast, easy, and quality. Cons We have no detractions. JobTread is good on all fronts even technical support and collaborating with external users. Hatch cost twice a month as JobTread and didn't even meet our shared communication needs. Things were hard to find, the app was terrible, etc. Houzz Pro was good at first but quickly fizzled out and we looked for other options. We had to have too many work arounds with Houzz and customer support wasn't helpful. Pros The budget, it's core to everything, from which you generate proposals, bids, invoices, manage change orders for the job, all very slick and efficient. Very cost effective, don't feel I am bleeding cash - unlike many other alternative solutions, Builder Trend and UDA construction online, been there but won't be going back! Cons There aren't many, but there are more advanced scheduling tools which consider resource utilisation more carefully, but this gives you simplicity with a good dollop of functionality and so on balance ideal for my business. December 5, 2023 5.0 We joined a few months ago and it has COMPLETELY improved our business 10 fold! In this short amount of time, we've been able to expand our business, as we've been able to balance more contracting jobs at once. We've been lot more organized, since our current staff can now handle more work... I can't even imagine how we survived before this. I can't wait to run our numbers at the end of the year to see the results. This is now our 3rd enterprise software, and I'm so happy we've finally found our home! Pros Ease of use. Ability to manage multiple jobs requiring multiple days at job site. Excellent price point. Excellent customer service, never have to wait to get answers I need. Excellent training videos. Accessible dedicated customer support manager, dedicated to our team, who is extremely knowledgeable of the software. Cons It does not currently have the ability to notify customers from the app (on or way texts and job reminder notifications). Owner Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "A+++ Powerful and well devised software" July 24, 2024 5.0 A+++ This software rocks. I'm thankful to have this tool to run my business. It's a bargain compared to my previous CRM, and the feature set is incredible, especially the vast 3rd party integration capabilities. The customer service is incredible, and the company has a super positive culture. Pros The number one reason I love JobTread is the fantastic customer support. I have a dedicated success manager who I can contact directly or can schedule group sessions to answer random questions about the software and how to best adapt it to my business. Once you build your catalog of services/products, you will be able to generate detailed proposals in just minutes. The second reason why I love JobTread is because the feature set is extremely well thought out. After the initial setup, the workflow to produce proposals and convert to an active job is seamless. I can easily incorporate employees, subcontractors and client to participate in the project by only adding their email in the system. The software maintains a repository of all communications automatically. Cons Honestly, nothing. I think this software has been perfected and the development team is clearly on top of adding customer-requested features and fixes issues promptly. For my purposes, it meets all of my needs for now. I am actually pretty critical of software developed by others but this program exceeded my expectations. In addition, they continuously take input and make improvements. I am also a believer in keeping things as simple as possible and at the same time provide a robust product. This is it! We were fortunate enough to have a very talented Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], working right along side us to get converted to JobTread. \[sensitive content hidden\] has extensive knowledge of the JobTread product and is very skilled with all the tools to move our data into JobTread. It made things very easy for our company. I was very impressed with her availability, friendliness, knowledge, speed, and all the various ways she was available and communicated the information. I could send her a question in an email and a short time later, I would receive a reply with a video of her demonstrating how to do what I was asking. So cool!
