They offer several packages, from $99 per year to over $1,000 per year depending on the number of webpages you have and would like to scan and access reporting. I think it is a powerful app that does not require a lot of technical experience, so any user can feel confident knowing that they are following the proper compliance protocols for any/all types of website visitors and audiences. Pros The UserWay Accessibility Widget is a powerful and cost efficient app that is simple to implement on just about any website. The widget natively integrates with several website platforms, including SquareSpace, and configuring the widget's size, display location on my website and updating it with custom branded colors took just minutes. I like that it auto-scans as many webpages as I want to provide detailing reports on areas that require updating to meet compliance. The report guides users step by step on necessary adjustments, anyone could follow along without any technical experience. Cons The only aspect that I dislike are some of the plan tiers, which offer a certain number of webpages that the widget will display on, scan and provide detailed reports. If you have a large website with many pages the total overall cost to add full compliance could get expensive, especially for a small business. Review Source AS Anthony S. And it allows my clients to see it work on a basic level, before upgrading to all the bells and whistles. Accesibe doesn't have a basic level so I don't use them at all now. Pros It provides a good tool for vision impaired individuals. It also provides some coverage for merchants who can't afford PRO, but most likely will choose it in the future as it becomes more essential through state legislation. Cons The cost for PRO. Clients avoid the extra cost. But at least I can set them up with a basic widget where they can pivot to the advanced widget easily when the time comes. March 14, 2025 1.0 The worst waste of money I have dealt with in a very long time. Pros Because they say they will support you if one of these crappy ads lawsuits come up, but they don’t. You will have to hire a lawyer, because guess what? Their software does not cover ADA compliance. Seriously, don’t get me started, because I could talk for days about the “legal” support they provide. In fact, leave your company name in the comments, if there are comments, and I would be happy to reach out and tell you ever detail of my interaction with userway, including what I have in writing. Cons I am a developer, I don't actually use the widget that much but I implement it. I would comment the language selector, I don't like how it flashes the native language and then it translates it, this has to do with how the page loads then userway widget but its not a great experience in my opinion.
