### "Multi location salon making a change to TanLink after 25+ years with another company "

So far all is great. \[sensitive content hidden\] did amazing in training and getting me thru times I felt overwhelmed in the transition ( 25+ years with another point of sale) \[sensitive content hidden\] also were awesome. The hardest part of training is the language or how we each have learned and refer to our systems. Once I began to understand better what TL language it helped to understand how to translate into what we know. The reading of the steps didn't always make alot of sense all the time until one understands that TL language. Talking to someone helps far more. And that I have Sheryl to thank for as she took that time. The chat bot is wonderful. My suggestion would be to dummy down some of the responses. We don't know what we don't know yet until we stumble across a problem and the response can sometimes be so above our heads therefore can be more confusing .

Pros

We are still fairly new as we are 4.5 months now with Tan Link. Instantly we can see that training new hires is much quicker and easier for them to learn.

Cons

Not being able to allow the client to pick the package on file they want to use. When we run a sale it is to entice clients to buy something new or something additional ( a splurge purchase) It would be nice if the client could choose what pkg they used. Credits having to do over ride if they dont have enough for a full session. How our credits are set up is to allow those seasonal tanners or such to go at their own pace in the bed they want.

### "Ease and Access"

TanLink has helped to make my business more profitable by offering the best software solutions to meet the needs of modern day sales. There have been continuous improvements and updates that come at no additional cost each year. With the ability to give me the ease of access and management, TanLink has been the answer to all of my needs.

Pros

I love the fact that I am able to access TanLink from anywhere. It allows me to be in the salon, without being there. I am able to use TanLink on multiple POS stations and manage from anywhere. The automation that TanLink offers for EFT payments and communications with clients is key to keeping my business going and what makes TanLink the best choice for me. There are also several options to keep my business running if there are internet outages, server interruptions, or technical problems.

Cons

Configuring and setting some of my own settings was sometimes difficult and I needed assistance or explanations often. There are times that understanding some the functions and features TanLink offers without using them first isn't clear or support/guides didn't assist as desired.

### "Make the switch you won’t regret it!"

I still have open tickets from months and months ago still not resolved. Concentrate on what your good at and make it GREAT the best then add features. Overall though this has made my life as an owner soooo much easier. I am very thankful i made the switch and moved everything to tanlink.

Pros

Easy to train employees, simplicity, does sooo much for you without you having to manually do it like run efts, send rejection texts out, have them pay their balance, and so much more! You can access it anywhere from any device, if your internet goes down no problem you can still operate with the iPad!

Cons

They keep coming out with all these great new features which we love but doesn’t fix the issues with the current ones.

Was over the crappy customer service, multiple issues, constantly wouldn’t work and would have to close down the salon, and they weren’t up to date with alll new technology like the auto rejection texts or running efts automatically you had to manually do and send all of those which costs a lot of time and money. I couldn’t ever check sales or see how many people we seen if they needed help etc without physically going into the salon.

### "Tan Link simplifies my job!"

The customer service is phenomenal and there is constant growth and improvement. It makes me feel confident that Tan Link cares about the product they are selling. There are so many features that have simplified my job and make it easier for me to keep up with day to day happenings without needing to be at my salon all day every day. I can log in from anywhere to run any report or fix any issue from my phone, iPad, or computer. This has eliminated the need for remote software expenses! I also love that EFTs run automatically any day of the week and texts are sent to any declined members to notify them and provide a link to update payment info and pay their past due. There are so many cool features with this software that make a salon owners life easier!

Pros

At first, I felt a little overwhelmed getting started and there wasn’t as much guidance through the implementation process as I’d had with past software, but once I got the hang of it it’s much easier than I thought. My employees feel that it’s easy to use as well. Customer service is always available and happy to help and I love having the Tan Link Facebook Group to look up any quick fixes or to find other tips and tricks from fellow salon owners. I love all the automated features and the reports I get each day with any notes made on customer accounts or any changes made. It helps me keep track of what is going on in my salon day to day without needing to hunt down the info to be sure employees are doing things correctly.

Cons

Some of the reports are more difficult to read and translate into my Quickbooks reports. I also miss a feature from my old software that calculated the estimated wait time for each level of service.

Reason for choosing Tan Link

I liked all of the reviews from other salon owners and all of the automated features really caught my attention. My salon isn’t my only job and it’s hard to be there everyday, I felt that Tan Link would help fill in the gaps when I wasn’t there in person. I also liked that I could log in from anywhere.

I felt like my old software was failing me at the customer service level. I loved it in the beginning but as time went on there were less features available than in the beginning and I found myself helping their support team navigate the software to help me with an issue.

In our line a work we rely on efts to be as easy to set up and to collect as possible. Tan Link caters to my needs and has systems in place to make sure I can easily obtain any past due fees. With customer service they gear every transaction to be as profitable as possible. With everything customizable my salon is digitally fine tuned to what I need.

Pros

For my Tanning & Retail Business, it is like the software is in my head. Helping me improve, adapt, create more revenue and be able to easily modify as needed. The other software programs I've looked into or have had just can't compare. Tan Link is always adding and creating new features that make owning a business so much easier and more efficient. I owe a 30% increase in revenue to this software with all its features.

Cons

There is nothing I miss or need more with this software.

Poor customer service, rude tech support, double charging eft customers with a blame game between the credit card processor and them and then blaming my hardware when it was their coding. Cost to change anything too high and they "helped" me get situated for a 2nd station then wouldn't help me install it unless I contracted with them another year of services and tech support I didn't use. Since the switch I am so upset I didn't switch sooner and Tan Track was losing me money in loopholes employees knew to access and not being set up to easily monitor and change.

Tan Link has been a huge blessing to our business. It, along with a few other business implementations has allowed us to grow exponentially in the last three years and the customer service has been like nothing else we have ever received in the industry. If there is a problem, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team get it fixed and taken care of immediately.

Pros

This software completely takes care of most tanning salon owners biggest headaches, from the text features to gain delinquent EFT to the linking of all of our locations with ease, we are huge Tan-Link fans.

Cons

Honestly, there are so many features that we have not implemented due to us not understanding how to implement them. It's a blessing and a curse because as much as we love everything they already do, they are constantly implementing new features that we can't keep up with and would love to be able to know more about.

### "Game Changer"

With TL’s built in support and manual just a click away it’s very useful to get questions, answered, quickly. And Tan-link’s chat-bot, App link and other integrations my salon went from half a dozen - a dozen declines a month to Zero ($0)declines a month.

Pros

I love the customization Tan-link offers its users. They don't put my business needs in a tiny box. One size does NOT always fit all. Businesses are just as unique as individuals and Tan-link gets it. Each business has various needs and data requirements.

Cons

Since I’ve been TL for the last six months, a feature that would be helpful is to have an attachment feature on each clients profile, a drag and drop system. Example: Attach Client’s receipts of refund.

Reason for choosing Tan Link

TL had integrations with systems I was already using like; when I work, mail chimp, text messaging, an online store, and TL offered automated EFTs.

Pros

Daily drafts, ease of use, consistency has made this business owner's life so much better!

Cons

The initial roll out was TOUGH. Longer training sessions and double checking autodrafts would have made the transition less stressful.

Pros

Support is by far the best of any software I've used. They instant chat is always there to help

Cons

It could be a bit prettier. But they are working on it.
