Pros I like the fact that customers can get their product and pay for it over time. Cons Affirm can get people into debt. I like the accessibility of the payment method and the ease of transaction it provides. Pros What I like with Affirm is the low promotional APR they provide plus the generous purchasing power they give borrowers. Cons My least favorite thing about affirm, is you can only change your payment due date once in a rolling Month. I tried to place an order with them, and they asked me to pay a portion of the total amount upfront. Fine, I did it. But then the entire process got stuck on “order processing” while the money was already taken from my account! When I called customer service, they had the audacity to nonchalantly tell me it would take 100 days to reverse the charge. 100 days?! That’s beyond absurd! If a loan doesn’t go through, why on earth should the initial payment take that long to be refunded? It’s infuriating, and the lack of urgency or accountability from their side just adds insult to injury. I’ll never understand how this is acceptable to them. Pros The convenience of their repayment process. Cons 1.Poor money reversal process – Refunds take an unreasonably long time (up to 100 days) to process. 2. Unhelpful customer service – Customer support appears nonchalant and lacks urgency in resolving issues. 3.Unreasonable refund policies – If a loan doesn’t go through, the initial payment still faces significant delays in being refunded. 5.Frustrating user experience – The process feels inefficient and adds unnecessary stress to customers Review Source LR Lola R. Affirm gives you the option to set up auto-pay, so I don't miss payments. Pros The app's interface is very user-friendly. I especially enjoy the dashboard because it shows right up front how much "money" is available. There's also the quick search option, allowing you to see what companies you can use your funds towards a purchase. Cons The way they separate each purchase and money spent is a bit annoying. One example was a technical issue we had with our name and image when looking through the companies. The responded and resolved my issue quickly. Pros This software is the top player in the space in my opinion. Their interface and experience is top notch, for me personally as a user, and also to my customers. It is easy to use and works well with our infrastructure. Cons I would like the process of getting highlighted at the forefront to be a little easier for smaller stores like ourselves. We are competing against some heavy players, and it would be great if we could compete for the front page. Pros This feature is great because it allows customers to break their monthly payments into smaller increments. This is a win for both my business, and the clients that I service. Haven't had any issues except slow loading pages as described above. Pros What I like most about Affirm aside from the ease of use, its great for big purchases that you can't out right afford or justify at the moment, and breaks your bill up into payments to pay over time. Cons The end cost will always add up to more than if the item was just paid all at once upon shopping.
