Interestingly I'm having good results in GEO with articles that have been written based off Surfer guidelines. Also, good training and certification opportunities. These were originally used with freelancer and in-house writers however frequently I can use it with generative AI to create great results mixed with personal knowledge. I can't say enough good things about joining their Facebook group - the knowledge in there is worth the price of the product. Pros Surfer's AI has continuously grown, learned, adapted, and been tweaked to make it better. Every time I use it, I notice something new - little things, like formatting or it getting rid of words like "delve." Or sometimes, it's bigger things, like the Auto-Optimize feature (which is scary good). Cons I think everything I've ever "not liked" about it was really my own issue of not understanding the product or how to use it properly. When I first started I just sort of dove in and started clicking buttons and guessing what they did. Trial and error. So there were some errors - but they were my own. When there is a con, the Facebook user group is full of people with far more knowledge then me - including programmers and the \[sensitive content hidden\], who has personally answered in depth questions, far exceeding what I needed. The changes that they suggest are practical and easy to understand. I have a process that I go through every day and Surfer is a key element in that process. So my overall experience is VERY positive. Pros The integration with Jasper AI which I use to write my articles. I can work right inside of Jasper (so long as I am logged into Surfer) and do a content audit for my article and make the adjustments necessary to the amount of words needed, the amount of headings, paragraphs and images needed to compete with my competitors on the keyword page of Google that I am targeting. Within minutes I can get my content score up to a competitive level and get on the first page of Google. Genius!! Cons The tutorials are by people who have English as their second language which is not always helpful. In addition, their training videos are not well organized, lots of information is skipped over and too much is assumed that you know. A more robust training program would be super helpful. Cons You aren't able to create a new shareable link of your content editor article. So, if you share the content editor with another writer, the previous writer will be able to access the written text of the new writer.
